ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

You must be so excited!

I have a DS of 3 (he will be 4 next month) and although he has asked before if we can have a baby we have always said no, I don't think he will understand properly when I am pregnant but I think he will be very pleased when he does have a baby!

lucy5 · 02/02/2006 12:19

I cant remember when my last period was, which is not very helpful. I am going to buy a test tomorrow. if this happens this will be my second child, my dd is 5, so it will be a shock for her. I have sore boobs, which I often get when my period is due but it's in a different place, soory if thats too much info. Either way, my reaction to my sneaky feeling has convinced me I would be happy to have another one. It would be nice to be preggers without really trying it took me nearly a year with dd.

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 12:10

Hi Lucy,

Wow!!! Good luck, when will you be testing? Will this be your first baby? Sorry I am really nosey!!

lucy5 · 02/02/2006 12:07

I have a sneaky feeling I might be, i wasnt trying but now hope I am. Please keep your fingers crossed, im going to be so upset if im not and im hoping i havent talked myself in to it.

Hayls · 02/02/2006 12:04

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 12:02

You go for it Mumswish,

Hi WannaBe, I hope you start feeling better soon And fingers crossed for that BFP

mumswish · 02/02/2006 12:01

ok I'm just popping out for some lunch, will be back in an hour. MN just went a bit nuts and refused to let me in so I'm not sure if it will do it again,

see you in an hour

wannaBe1974 · 02/02/2006 12:01

Mumswish you should have a frank discussion with your DP and spell it out to him that there is a possibility that you could become pregnant this month, or next month, or any time you BD, that way there is definite clarity, so he is definite about the fact that he knows you might get pg, without him having to admit you're "trying".

mumswish · 02/02/2006 11:57

thats how I heard it, the lets leave it to fate. thats how I worried it could be trapping him cos he agreed to me coming off the pill now cos im putting on too much weight and its making me grumpy more now, but originally it was going to be no sex cos i'm not on the pill then I got the lets see what happens when I said babies so thats what i heard.

Just sent him a text asking if he wanted to have steak and a couple of glasses of wine tonight (cos he's off tomorrow) putting lots of little pictures in of winks! lol

wannaBe1974 · 02/02/2006 11:57

Hi all, hope all are well.

Well have well and truely got the lurgy and feel awful. But DS is home today so no rest, and have college tomorrow so have to do that as well - well such is life - mummies don't get to be ill.

Am on CD 16 and it's way too early but have really sensitive nipples, am hoping it's cause I might have ovulated recently or something - not sure exactly when I did ovulate but am still hopeful of BFP this month.
Has anyone heard from northerner? she's been really quiet lately.

Pussycat hope you're feeling better, does your sister get her test result today? please let us know what the official result is - am keeping fingers crossed.

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:50

'Let's see what happen's' would to me be saying, the chances are (as we all know) you have to be somewhat lucky to get PG on your first cycle, so he is probably factoring in the time it will take you get pregnant, then obviously another 8 months before the baby is born, by which time you will be in your own home.

I don't think cd13 is too late if you are a 28 day-er, isn't it from around the 10th day till the 13th that is suggested? For me I have adopted a well known supermarket slogan of 'every little helps' so 'going at it like rabbits' springs to mind!!!
