Just thought I'd pop in to say hello to everyone. I hope everyone's doing ok, I'm sorry I've been AWOL for a while.

Anyhow, I have a 2 day old DS!!! . He's just lovely. He's not due till 17th April but obviously no one told him that and he arrived very very quickly in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Not much of a birth story,it happened all a bit quick! I had a few contractions and By the time my parents arrived (10 mins away) to babysit DD they were every minute. I had a scary 5 min car journey to hospital and got the urge to push in the car park! Managed not to push and baby caught by midwife shortly after getting inside maternity unit.
He was 8lb exactly, born at 5:52am on 3rd April. We've called him Matthew James.

Hi 4ever :) yeah can hardly believe how well j has taken to the bed, even wants to go in it for his naps saying 'bed bed, leep leep!' :) I'm just waiting for a disaster but maybe it won't happen! He doesn't get scooters at all, so funny he tries to sit on them like a ride on toy!

neeko I don't blame you for keeping H in her cot for as long as possible, I would have kept Ajay in his, but he just kept climbing (and falling) out.
Ajay has just learnt to go on his scooter, it's so cute watching his slow progress round the garden on it, but it keeps him happy, and quiet, for some time

Heard from one of my old school friends that she's expecting her third, I'm really excited for her, and what with another friend expecting her first I had a fleeting feeling of broodyness yesterday, but it's gone again

Vjay Hope you've been sledging. We had snow here yesterday but it didn't lie. Nice and sunny though freezing today. well done to cjay for bagging his first munro. I climbed Ben Nevis a number of years ago. It's an awesome feling when you get to the top.

Cupcake well done to your big boy for sleeping in a big bed. Know you're doing it this early because of bump but I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get at least another 6 months out of Hannah in the cot. It's the only place she stays put!

Blue Hope the sun is shining for you in beautiful St Andrews

The birthday girl had a briliant time at her party on Saturday. The sun was shining and she was outside all afternoon with her cousins and was sobbing when we brought her in to blow out her candles - made for interesting video footage!
Her favourite gift is her new scooter. She pends half the day on it saying "Scoot, Scoot" to herself!

Ds has now spent 3 nights in his big boy bed! Gone v well so far, slept through to 6 or 6.30 & hasn't got out or fallen out! Sure it could go downhill when he realises he can get out but it's a good start :)

I know, looks like it will be sledges and snowmen today rather than the sandcastles on the beach I'd planned to do.
