About time I start a thread! Pom poms still shaking, bumps growing, babies and toddlers talk a plenty, while the support, laughs, hand holds and weebling continues...

Damn this heartburn. It has me up every night. Plus feeling rather crampy.

cupcakefairy · 17/05/2012 21:18

Aaah moon I was just thinking the other day your wedding must be coming up that's sooo exciting!!! And yes a honeymoon baby couldn't be more perfect (except for if you're pregnant this month obviously!)
Ooh good luck with everything I love weddings!

MummysLittleSunbeams · 17/05/2012 21:14

moon doesn't that mean that if you are not pregnant this month, you'll be in your prime spermination window when you get married??

BlueMoon1981 · 17/05/2012 21:08

I'm lurking more frequently now to check on new arrivals, you must be so excited mls and cupcake!

I am on the 2ww but I can feel signs of af on her way :(

But on a happy note, I get married 3 weeks tomorrow Grin I can't wait! Have my final dress fitting on Saturday then thats everything sorted and I'm ready Grin

Big waves to everyone

Neeko · 17/05/2012 20:24

Keep bouncing Cupcake. It has to be doing something...

cupcakefairy · 17/05/2012 19:29

mls yep still bouncing at every opportunity.. lots of brisk walking pushing buggy too but nada happening :( trying not to get too disheartened as I know I'm only 1 day over but dammit I'm ready to have this baby!
Glad the worst of pox is passing..hopefully dd1 will get a v mild case so u have it out of the way for them both without too much trauma!

VJayazzle · 17/05/2012 15:47

mls so glad you're over the worse of the pox, all ready for tomorrow Wink, and yes you can get the magazine down there Smile

MummysLittleSunbeams · 17/05/2012 15:08

Hello ladies! How is everybody today?

cupcake are you bouncing?? Any more twinges? I had some funny twinges this morning but they didn't amount to anything & when I was sat on the loo earlier I swear I could feel the baby's head pressing against my pelvic bone.

4ever lucky you seeing the queen, I was listening to all of it on bbc London yesterday.

neeko yay for finishing your marking & dreaming of new shoes! All I want atm is to be able to wear my flip-flops, sadly looking out of the window I have no idea when that'll be.

vjay will I be able to get that magazine down here?

moon are you on the 2ww now?

Well I'm finally coming out the other side of the chicken pox horror. Dd2 was really ill with it on tues night & we all only got 2 hrs sleep what with her crying & burning up all night. She's absolutely covered with red scabby spots now but seems to be over the worst of it & only woke once last night at 3am.

Big waves to all the lurkers.

cupcakefairy · 16/05/2012 21:51

Hi neeko congrats on finishing the marking and yay for new shoes! :)
No sign of imminent labour here so looks like this one won't be in the 5% born on due date!
Hoping lbm's guess is the right one!

mls hope dd2 is doing ok.

Neeko · 16/05/2012 20:21

Hello lovelies! Marking is done - yeeha! -so I'm back in the land of the MN and dreaming of the shoes I'm going to buy when my marking money comes in! Grin
I'm currently crossing my fingers that Cupcake goes into labour imminently and MLS hangs on until DD2 is better.

Vjaythe proudmummy Go Cjay! That's fab and I'll definitely be browsing the mags in Sainsburys this week.

Buddha sorry the evil witch got you. Next month will be your month. Who could deny you a bfp on your 40th?

Moon I've lost track. Should we be pompom waving at the moment [wink}

LBM I have had a few giggles at babybell. She has clearly heard the saying "if you're not fast, you're last!" I particularly loved the Legoland tales. H is becoming much better now that her speech is improving and both DDs are playng really well together these days (how i hope I haven't jinxed it!) We're even getting regular sleep atm though I have given up any hope of the bottle leaving our lives in the near future. I'm enjoyig H more everyday and cherish our time at toddlers on a Tuesday. I've waited over 2 years to be able to boast like this, but it's bound to be my downfall Grin
I'm very impressed by the present recycling. I'm too weak in that respect.

4ever loved the queen story and at Summer waving her flag.

Blue lol at your words of wisdom: "cupcake and MLS Bounce, bounce or lunge or shag, whatever you think best Smile" Grin
Really looking forward to our meet up.

VJayazzle · 16/05/2012 18:58

Ooohh 4ever and lbm exciting times Grin

cupcake and mls are you both ok?

June's issue of trail is now on sale, there is no link to the page cjay is in but if you go to the second to last page when browsing, he the wee chappy in a red coat up cairn gorm, "not just his first Munro but his first ever mountain!" Grin

littlebellsmum · 15/05/2012 21:25

told you, cupcake, she is just waiting until Friday - don't worry, 18th is the day Smile and 4ever don't tell my dh but that is cool!

v exciting news today - we have tickets to go to the olympics. Kids dead excited - however I do have to point out that it is a sport I had only heard about yesterday !! Womens handball it is for us - on the olympic park just me and the older dc's - all very excited!!

cupcakefairy · 15/05/2012 20:08

Ah 4ever that's so cool :) she was just round the corner from us a couple of weeks ago too :)

sweep today was a non event..no change, and afterwards she booked me in to discuss induction with consultant on Monday :( makes me desperately unhappy to think about going through all those discussions & decisions again & the waiting & then the induction itself.. please send prayers & labour vibes for a baby by Sunday ladies!

4everhopeful · 15/05/2012 13:39

We just saw the Queen! Grin She's visiting the high school at the end of our rd that DH went too! We stood there waving our flags on the roadside and had a great view as she drove past, Summer obviously had no idea what all the palava was about but waved her flag excitedly shouting Yea! Feel quite patriotic now! Grin Can't believe she was practically on our doorstep!

cupcakefairy · 14/05/2012 21:04

I'm fine! A few rubbishy tightenings today. Hoping sweep tomorrow & a little help from dh Wink might get things moving for my due date, that would be lovely but I fear I may have my hopes up too high :(

Glad dd2 seems ok so far but would be :( if they can't visit you.

MummysLittleSunbeams · 14/05/2012 20:32

lbm yes you are right, Friday might be ideal, don't think it's gonna happen though! Btw your description of babybelle sounds just like my dd2. She's such a handful at times & always gets her own way. She gets away with murder but I love her all the more for it!

Well her spots have doubled today but thankfully it doesn't seem to be bothering her much yet. I spoke to my midwife who was very reassuring about the baby but depending on when I give birth & whether dd2 has caught it, my girls might not be able to visit me in hospital.

cupcake how are you feeling?

littlebellsmum · 14/05/2012 19:51

yes, but MLS, if bubba arrived on Friday, dd2 will probably be much better and dd1 won't have got it yet, so it wouldn't be that bad Grin

Only joking, hun, rubbish timing or what. Clearly dd2 is going to make life difficult for her sibling from the outset - hope she isn't too itchy.

cupcakefairy · 14/05/2012 11:08

Oh noooo mls :( definitely not what you need that's so rubbish. We know another tot with it at the mo am worried ds will come down with it.. here's hoping your girls won't be too ill with it, and will just be nice & cuddly so you can have a bit of rest!

VJayazzle · 14/05/2012 09:22

Oh no mls that is bad timing, and what with the law of sod and all that, you'll be pushing come Friday xxx

MummysLittleSunbeams · 14/05/2012 07:30

No no no NO not Friday! Dd2 has woken up with chicken pox today, I can't believe the timing. Sad That means dd1 will probably get it just as I'm about to have the baby.

cupcakefairy · 13/05/2012 22:32

I like your guess lbm! Friday would be very lovely so family can come on the weekend.. but we shall see..
Trip to legoland sounds v funny, ds is just like that too, so willful! He just wants to do everything himself 'do it, do it' he says Grin

vjay how amazing about cjay! Give us a link when u have one..

Right off to bed..night all x

littlebellsmum · 13/05/2012 21:56

Just adding my ideas to the sweepstake:

Both Firday 18th, Both girls, both 7.7lb - cos then they would both be the same as BB who's second birthday it it on Fridau Grin

And if that is the case, I'm hoping they are not as bloody minded as her ! Had a day at legoland today which was lovely - BB went on boating school with me and ds. Poor ds ( who was looking forward to driving and who's late birthday treat it was) wasn't allowed to even touch the steering wheel as it was apparently "hers" and she played hell when he tried to help. We ended up going the wrong way at one point, with her screaming the place down - and yes, she is a bit of a character - as I tell everyone, she was sent to make sure I never had any more children!! Manic at work again - happy week all. Will be lurking to here any lovely baby news - and forMLS, to laugh as her third child arrives!!

VJayazzle · 13/05/2012 21:17

blue their website is just showing Mays issue at the mo. I'm going to buy out the shop tomorrow Grin

bluesatinsash · 13/05/2012 21:04

Aww that's fantastic Vjay! Do you have a link to their internet edition? Does Trail have an internet version Grin?

cupcake and MLS Bounce, bounce or lunge or shag, whatever you think best Smile

Buddha - Bloody AF... a 40th b'day BFP would be amazing tho'!
