About time I start a thread! Pom poms still shaking, bumps growing, babies and toddlers talk a plenty, while the support, laughs, hand holds and weebling continues...

moonmrs · 18/06/2012 21:53

4ever I think you're truly amazing, you have been through so much and you can still smile at the end of it all, how you do it I'll never know but you have my respect and admiration for never giving up on your dream.

mls nice to see you popping by, sorry to hear you arent well, colds are especially crap when its supposedly summer.

buddha I second (third?) 4ever and blue if only I had listened to you all ages ago, I might have been a mum sooner. I dont want to scare you or anything, but I am 4 years down the line and still childless because I was too proud/too scared/had my head in the sand to go and see a doctor. If nothing is wrong they can at least reassure you everything is working.

af turned up for me :( but next month I am determined is gonna be the one, I am not having another month of being disappointed.

MummysLittleSunbeams · 18/06/2012 21:11

Evening all!

monkey that is the most fabulous news!!! I'm so made-up for you. Thanks to neeko for letting me know. I may not be the most religious person but I've said a couple of prayers for you & all of your cyber-sisters are sending super-sticky vibes.

moon well done for coming out of the closet & posting some pics! Wink You looked simply stunning on your wedding day & it's great to be able to put a (radiant) face to your posts. Also lol at your description of Seth chomping his way out, that actually made me rofl!!

cupcake how are you getting on?

4ever it's lovely to see you upbeat again. I presume the bleeding has stopped? Where are you in your cycle now?

barbie yay great to see you back. My dd1 is a fussy eater. She's just never really been into food unlike her piggy mummy but she's getting better at trying new things. I was the same as a child & at primary school they only used to charge my mum half price for meals as I barely used to eat anything!

Sorry for such a short post. I've got a stinking cold (in June wtf?) so along with the tiredness I'm feeling rough. Ds Grin is soundly asleep on my lap so I'm going to
try & carefully transfer him into his basket.

Night night all.

Neeko · 18/06/2012 20:53

Sorry clicked post accidentally...

Rumours I know you would, lovely. we're worth a 6 hour trip Wink

Monkey All sounding good. big deep breaths now. Smile

Neeko · 18/06/2012 20:52

4ever thanks for giving me a sister! I've always wanted one! Grin Think you got me mixed up with Blue Smile

monkeybumsmum · 18/06/2012 18:44

Thanks so much everyone! Afraid this is just a quicky, as I have to get on with dh's accounts in case I'm not able to do them in a few days... 4ever thanks so much for your lovely texts, sorry I didn't get chance to reply to the second one... You're just so lovely and always so very supportive Smile Thank you!

Sorry but I haven't had chance to read all of each post, as haven't had much time, so am v ashamed of myself and still don't really know what's been happening on the thread lately Blush I will catch up, I promise!

All okay here, feeling terrible which is good I suppose. Only just kept breakfast down and felt so rough I rang the midwives who've been running the IVF to get reassurance that morning sickness can start this early. The lady I spoke to was so sweet, said 'oh you poor girl' and that it's not abnormal, so I feel better about that!

Right, I really must go and get these blasted books done. Thanks again, you have all made me feel a little bit excited too Grin

Xxx

4everhopeful · 18/06/2012 18:21

Nope, lost it... Huff!

Will attempt again!

Monkey still beaming, and praying, and hope you're embracing those symptoms and not weebling tooooo much!

Barbie ditto everyone, don't listen to the nursery, totally normal toddler behaviour to be a picky eater, and from what I saw of Dolly you have no worries at all! Glad to hear H is more settled and you are happier with f feeding, it was a huge relief for me too when Summer went onto it after not getting on with bf in initial wks (though the gannet soon went back and we did combo feeding til she was 1! Shock) Hope you are now feeling settled and more content?

Neeko yay to holidays, love Florida, my grandad lived there and went lots when in my twenties (forever ago!) am well jel too! Hols this yr sound lovely too, made me Grin with your 'my more wealthy than me sister' comment! Bet you cant wait for a nice long break..!

Blue you two have a great meet up tomorrow! Kept thinking of you whilst away and you saying 'I heart our caravan!' Grin I can see why! Bless your big boy and his prize winning project, proud mummy moment!

Buddha hope you are hanging in there hon, know you are having moments of despair right now but Im sure it will happen, as Blue said perhaps worth a trip to your gp for advice? Bless your DH and hooray to ongoing birthday treats and celebrations btw!

MrsMoon congratulations on your wonderful wedding! You look stunning in your photos! Heres to many years of wedded bliss! Hope you are enjoying your honeymoon at home, and that you had generous guests for an exotic honeymoon later in the year! We did the same at our wedding, best gift you could ask for imo! Wink

Louey sorry I missed O's birthday too and cant believe he is 1! Shock Eurodisney sounds great, def wanna take Summer there in a couple of yrs, we passed Peppa Pig world on way to Weymouth and considered taking Summer there, but as my SIL wisely said when we told her, better when they actually remember it!

Cupcake and MLS* how are you and your expanded families doing? Glad to hear flying solo wasnt too daunting!

Rumours you made me Grin with your checking of the list for Os birthday too! Hows life treating you and your boys?

LBM loving the chickens names, I have images of 'The Good Life' in my head now! Grin

Sabs sorry to hear S has cp, albeit a mild version, at least its an excuse for time off work and extra snuggles! Smile

Curly yay to mat leave! Nice to see you posting again, hope all is well?

Well, that was the rushed second version of personals, so hope I havent missed anything, or anyone, don't feel it was as extensive and eloquent as my previous one - blummin MN!

Must go, my little pumpkin didnt have much of a nap post playgroup and is a tad grizzly whilst awaiting dinner!

Love to all x x x x x x x

4everhopeful · 18/06/2012 17:35

Soooo annoyed, just done a HUGE post to each of you, pressed post and there was a mn tech fault and I lost it.. Grrrr

Anyway, despite that, I'm very chilled, rejuvanated and recharged after a fabulous holiday! Was a caravan virgin but I'm sold! Grin Soooo brilliant for kids, Summer had an absolute ball, what with the swimming pool, softplay and sandcastle making on beautiful Weymouth beach! She was a proper little dancing queen at the little disco every night too, was soooo sweet and was sooo proud watching her being a proper social butterfly! Grin Just the tonic for us all, with long walks, sea air, good food and drink and really chilling, proper quality family time, the weather even held out and we didn't get rained on ar all when we were out amazingly!

Couldn't of been better timing or more needed, can't believe was only 2wks ago since the miscarriage, already feels an age ago... Onwards and upwards Grin

Am gonna pop upstairs now and hope i might be able to retrieve my post as was on pc (am now on phone) fingers xd! It had taken me aaages!

Rumours · 18/06/2012 16:14

neeks if I could meet up tomorrow I would, it'd be a 6 hour round trip for me and I wouldn't be back for the school run.

blue ds1 has an activity week booked all that week, that's if you mean the 9th to the 13th if not then maybe something could be arranged Smile

monkey how are you today?

bluesatinsash · 18/06/2012 13:55

What utterly fabulous news to come back to Smile monkey sending every uber sticky vibe, praying with all my might for you and mrmonkey If only we could wave a magic wand and you were coming out of the hospital with your bundle(s) of joy. Please God let this be your time x

Barbie - the French are weird, what can I say (merde). Advice I always go by is look back on the weeks eating, it tends to even itself out and as long as there?s regular peeing and pooing then worry not. I personally hardly have an appetite Mon-Thurs then -?pig out-- indulge Friday to Sunday Grin

4ever - hope you et famille had a lovely time away and it helped your healing process. What funny things did S get up to?

louey - EuroDisney sounded fab, so glad the boys had a ball. Oscar is soo gorgeous just now, all chubby and still a baby but not for much longer esq! How did the school trip go?

Buddha - have you thought of having some help on the ttc front? When I first ttc at the grand old (as I thought it back then !) age of 34 my doctor said to come back if it hadn?t happened after six months? your body may just need a wee jump start? Have you recovered from your birthday shenanigans Grin?

Rumours not long now til the hols! We?re heading up to Kinguisse the second week in July as my considerably more wealthy than me sister has a holiday home there Grin. We?re hoping to go to Landmark in Aviemore again.. Are you around then at all?

LBM - loving the chickens names too.. Be careful you might unwittingly turn your DC into vegetarians. That?s what happened to Paul McCartney, he was happily munching on some lamb with a splash of mint sauce and in walked one of his sheep up in Kintyre. No meat was ever eaten again Grin.

curly - happy maternity leave, a lovely time (especially when DC1 is at nursery and you can chillax Grin)

neeko see you ra morra and you can tell me all about Florida!

MLS loving the photos of Seth, he seems the most chilled baby ever. That?s boys for you Wink.

cupcake - how are things with you and your gorgeous boys? Hope your getting some sleep. The early weeks are always referred to by me and DH as ?in the trenches?.

Sabs - yup CP just needs to run its course and great if Saara has a mild dose. My poor DS1 had over 300 spots and they were everywhere ? tongue, orifices, ears - nasty.

We?re on countdown to the school holidays. Can?t believe that?s Isaac?s Primary one over with. He gets his report card on Friday but I?m sure it?ll be fine as he?s had a pitch perfect year. -?We-- he won the prize for best project, his Olympic stadium with over 200 LEGO sticker spectators sealing the deal ?I?He is very chuffed Grin DH and me are just looking forward to some quality time come July, its been a busy year!

Laters!

Neeko · 18/06/2012 13:42

Another blast of good luck wishes to Monkey Hope you're still feeling rotten in the most pregnant of ways today.

Barbie I can't believe the nursery would say that about Dolly over a NORMAL toddler refusal to eat. Don't they realise how many life-changng things she has had to contend with in the past few months?? Angry Apart from the fact that it is normal toddler behaviour, even if they are serving the same food, I'm sure the presentation/packaging is different from what she's used to, plus the surroundings are different, her body clock may not have fully adjusted, they will pronoune it slightly differently...
Tell them to back off and give the girl a break ffs. If she's happy and healthy and you're fine with that then tell them you're sure she's just settling in and you will reconsider in 6 months if there's no change.

Buddha I'm so sorry that you're struggling atm. Sending you a huge hug.

Louey Apologies for missing Oscar's birthday though it sounds like he had a super time. I can't believe he's one already! (Unlike rumours i didn't doubt that you knew when his birthday was! Wink) How are the rennovations coming on?

Rumours How are you feeling this week? Come on down to Glasgow and meet Blue and me tomorrow. Smile

4ever welcome 'home'! Didn't text you back as wanted to leave you in your holiday bubble. Smile Been thinking of you lots.

MoonMrs Hope the honeymoon at home is going well Wink

Curly Nice to hear from you and happy maternity leave. Any ideas on the flavour of babba#2?

Sabs Lovey to see you posting. Don't go away! Hope S is well enough to enjoy some extra time with mummy and daddy this week.

Cupcake and MLS are you both surviving?

Hope I haven't missed anyone.

4everhopeful · 18/06/2012 08:41

Just lurking whilst ebaying and OMG monkey what fabulous wonderful stupendous just bloody fantastic news!!!!!!!! Sending you all the sticky vibes I can muster and crossing everything for sticky bean/s. Strong symptoms are good, I'm sure your job will take your mind off things, although yes the tiredness in the early days does knock you cos you don't expect it to happen so soon. Am beaming Grin

Back later if I get a chance once I've finished listing yet more of my crap

Rumours · 17/06/2012 20:37

Incase you're wrong, stupid phone!

Rumours · 17/06/2012 20:36

monkey sticky sticky vibes comin your way lovely Smile

lbm very Envy of your chickens, but love the names, especially Bob Grin

louey happy belated birthday to O, and so sorry I missed it, I was in Shock when I read your post and actually scrolled back to check the list invade you were wrong Grin

barbie that means ds2 needs to see physc too, he's a bugger to get to eat. I'm more relaxed this time because ds1 went a while year barely eating!

littlebellsmum · 17/06/2012 20:02

barbie just need to reassure you that if Dolly needs to see the psychiatrist, so doesBB . She rarely eats at nursery - or at home for that matter. on friday, she refused breakfast, fav lunch and then tea. Even yesterday refused her favorite tea as it was a bit hot. Luckily she survives well on a diet of pizza and quavers, yoghurt and fruit. Sure Dolly will be just fine and you can handle the totally overractingstaff.

monkey super sticky gluey vibes from here. hope you feel tired and sore for the next 9 months..

news from here - we now have chickens. Which is very exciting - named by the kids - dd1 - goldie, ds - bob and dd2 - cluck cluck. Now we just need to persuade them to go to bed - which might be interesting!

SabsFabulous · 17/06/2012 19:34

monkey SmileSmileSmile wooopeeee!!!! Have everything crossed for you and praying it's a sticky one. Will keep lurking for news x

barbie sorry to hear things have been tough for you Sad It must be quite tough for you and the family with so many changes, but I don't think Dolly needs to see a psychiatrist. Angry on your behalf. Are you planning to come back to the UK anytime soon?

Quick waves to everyone else. Thanks to louey for your post and neeko for your text. Feel lucky that although S seems to have CP, it's quite mild from what I hear. DH and I will take it in turns to be off from work for the week.

Be back soon

monkeybumsmum · 17/06/2012 19:10

Thanks girls Grin Barbie you do make me laugh! Just been weeping to circle of life in the car, and have got really strong symptoms so far (v sore boobs, heavy abdomen, feeling nauseous for the last two days etc) so am really trying to relax... What will be will be. I am hoping so much that this works! Am going back to work tomorrow after a week off resting after the treatment/transfer and am not sure how I'll get through the day as am so tired! Long may it last!!

Apologies for the me posts, but my brain is not retaining information - I am being particularly rubbish at the mo! Hope you're all okay, and thanks for the sticky vibes Smile Love to all xxx

Hi Buddha, sorry you're feeling down, but it will happen I'm sure of itSmile I'm with you on the desperately-wanting-it front xx

monkeybumsmum · 17/06/2012 14:35

Okay ladies, I really need some good luck vibes being sent my way please - had two embryos put back last weekend, and have just got a very early BFP. I'm trying to stay very calm, but need to tell somebody or I'll burst! Dh is out, but he doesn't want to know anyway as this happened last time, although that one was very faint, and a day later in the cycle. Official blood test isn't until Thursday. My god I hope these embryos stick!

Please help calm me down, I think I'm going to cry...
