Hi all. Apologies for being awol and for not having much time to post tonight. I feel really bad that I've not been the support that some of you need right now, but i am thinking of you all. Particularly loved blue's post about the strength of this thread.
Been busy trying to squeeze every ounce of fun out of the remaining summer holidays and hurtling towards my returnto work on Wed Sad. Bizarrely i'll probably have more time to post then as DD1 will be sent to bed early again and will stop hogging the laptop with the CBeebies games!
Have my fingers firmly crossed for a triple bfp.
An extra hug for Rumours too. Sorry again, I've not been about, but you know you can text me at any time.

Good evening weebles Smile
Just to say I have a very busy fortnight coming up, our besties are arriving from Dubai in about 10 mins so dolly will be reunited with her best friend! Very exciting! We have a trip to Disney planned, complete with hotel stay an two day pass...any tips appresiated.
Then we are coming back to the uk for a long weekend in the Cotswolds before heading back to our home town.
I'm lurking and thinking of you all and if I can I will post.

Much love x

Hugs to you for that, maybe blessed with Summer now, but Ill never ever forget the gut wrenching heartbreaking ache of all my friends and colleagues that had various close edds, and obliviously bleated on, particularly one who took delight in showing me her 2wk old DDs entire wardrobe as I put on my much practised fake smile while my heart just broke, and I sobbed the whole way home and night... Sad Totally empathise with you, yes, my miracles happened, but will never forget, and would hate to be as insensitive to anyone that's in the same boat I was... x

Lol glad its not just me! Yes we must be, I've been taking vits for 4 years and dread to think how many hpts I've ben through....

I bought him some clothes today, that part never gets any easier, little clothes for little people always make me so sad. I've wrapped them already so I cant see them.

4everhopeful · 11/08/2012 15:51

Totally hear that too! Another bin raider here also! Blush Us Emmsys must be keeping the hpt business going strong, and I've been taking sanatogen mum to be multi vits for the last 5yrs daily! £££££££ Can't believe your nephew is nearly 1, vividly remember how hard it was when your sis announced her preg... Right again though, we WILL get there Wink

moonmrs · 11/08/2012 15:38

Oops I hadnt finished!

Thanks for the good luck wishes, and of course the same back to you Smile we will get there....

moonmrs · 11/08/2012 15:37

I even get mine out of the bin the next day, just to 'double check' Blush I must have spent a fortune on hpts along with pre-pregnancy vitamins, mad huh. My sister didnt even know she was pregnant until she was about 3 months gone Shock how perfect would that be. Speaking of which, my nephew is nearly one, where the hell did that time go Hmm

4everhopeful · 11/08/2012 15:29

Y'know as I wrote it moon, i thought maybe you were at that point.. I'm totally with ya, been there too so many times, holding it up at different angles in front of the window, checking and rechecking constantly.. Torturous really.. Unfortunately since discovering the treatment, which have to do really early in pg have had to test early, but often fantasised about how great it would be to test with no clue how late i was & have a scan to discover i was already 7wks or something! If only! Still pompoms a shaking for you, wishes wished, hopes hoped and generous amounts of babydust sprinkled all over you my lovely! Wink

I'm up for a hat trick, how lovely would that be Smile 4ever I have had so many bfns in my past that I just cant bring myself to do it anymore, at least this way I have some sort of faint hope, even if I do know in the back of my mind that af is on her way. And scrutinising those bloody sticks for that extra line kills me, holding it up to the light and taking it apart Blush

4everhopeful · 11/08/2012 12:21

Sorry in yesterdays horrific and Sad news I totally missed monkeys return!
Lovely to hear about an action packed and hopefully therapeutic summer for you! Smile How you doing now and whats the next plan?

Buddha and Moon sooooo hoping for that hat trick too! Smile Moon exceptional willpower on your part to not have tested yet!

OP posts:
BuddhaBelly · 11/08/2012 09:02

monkey I think the counsellor I saw after the m/cs practiced cbt and we touched on it I'm sure. I might have to have a look for that book rumours thank you Smile hope you got that spare room sorted Wink
4ever Awful news about Tia that poor girl and her family Sad something I hope selfishly that none if us have to experience firsthand just makes me shudder to think it was someone she trusted (normally is too) Sad forgot to add my Shock at S's artistic flair! We only manage scribbling Hmm
Blue Loving they our gushy post Wink so eloquent as usual
moon let's hope you don't have to find out what happens after clomid Smile

I am about to ov do wouldn't it be lovely if we could have a hat trick this month Wink

moonmrs · 10/08/2012 20:35

opps fac = fab Blush

moonmrs · 10/08/2012 20:35

Sorry monkey in my anger and upset about poor Tia I completely forgot to say how lovely it is to see you Smile So glad you and barbie had a fac meet up. You sound very busy but also happy.

I am on my 5th cycle of clomid, on the 2ww at the moment, one more cycle left and then its back to the drawing board Sad We have an appointment with the consultant in September if the clomid doesnt work, and I know they mentioned injections but I cant remember what for. Tbh I never thought that far ahead, I stupidly thought it would work its magic and I'd get pregnant on the 1st or 2nd cycle. Now I have to get my head around going through it all again. How are things with you on that front?

Rumours · 10/08/2012 20:08

The grans partner!

monkey hello busy lady, hope you sorted the spare room out and managed to enjoy the sunshine. I agree re the CBT, I've got CBT for dummies book and it's very good, makes a lot of sense. Thankyou for your kind words too.

Rumours · 10/08/2012 20:05

4ever don't apologised, I've just seen it too and thought of you, it's so sad and horrible Sad, have they found the grand partner yet?

4everhopeful · 10/08/2012 19:57

Moon i'm just horrified and ashamed this has happened to someone from our area, although the grandmothers house is several miles away, the mum and Tia, as i said, live on the next rd to my in laws, who often saw her out and about.. Its just unbearable to think of the awful circumstances of that poor young girls death... Sad I hate to say it but from the beginning of the wk, as soon as I read the 'grandad' was actually just the grans partner, and he was only 37 I knew something wasn't right, the fact she didn't take her mobile phone, what kid goes anywhere without there phone, and also the fact no trace of her on cctv, think the whole nation must of thought the same thing really, the finger pointed to him all along, its just sickeningly awful that her poor mum and other relatives were spending time there and now know the horrific reality that she was there all along.. Its beyond comprehension really...

Sorry to bleat on about something so depressingly awful on our lovely thread... Sad

OP posts:
moonmrs · 10/08/2012 19:21

4ever I've just seen it on the news and immediately came on here as I knew you would be badly affected by it Sad I cannot believe how someone can hurt a child, let alone a family member its incomprehensible. Big hug to you.

4everhopeful · 10/08/2012 18:54

Sad Sickening news they found what's probably Tias body at the grandmothers house.. Knew there was something dodgy sounding about the partner.. Too horrific to think about, had a horrible feeling this would be the outcome, hope they catch the evil bastard asap.. Sad

Hello Smile
Have been wanting to post for ages but what with being away, and it being a constant whirlwind since we got home I just haven't managed to find time. I should be doing lots now, but have thought sod it, and will post instead Grin

Firstly I have to say how lovely it was to finally meet gorgeous barbie and her beautiful children! I loved it! Like you said barbie it really did feel as if we'd known each other for ages Smile I just feel frustrated that we don't live a little bit closer so it would be easier to meet up again... Charlie so enjoyed meeting Dolly - I have some fab pics of them together, will post them on FB ASAP!

Rumours I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through, you must be very worried about ds2. Like the others I have no doubt at all that you will do the best for him that you possibly can, you are an amazing mummy I'm sure. DS1 and DS2 are very lucky to have you Smile

4ever wow re the OV pain, I hope it was for a good reason! It sounds like it was v sore though Sad What kind of pain was it? My OV pain feels like someone's hit me between the legs with a cricket bat - really odd but horribly sore! My goodness re poor Tia living so close to you. I really hope she's found safe and sound very soon. Any other outcome doesn't bear thinking about Sad

Hi moon, it's lovely to see you posting so much! You do sound like you are a very happy married lady Smile I'm afraid I've lost track of what's going on with you, think you are still taking Clomid, is that right? I hope this is a redundant question, but what will be next after the Clomid? Hope so much you don't have to think about that!!

Blue sounds like you've had rather a busy holiday! It goes so fast doesn't it! It would be fab to organise a meet-up that everyone could get to, let's hope it comes to fruition Grin
Have a great time at Centreparcs!

Buddha so sorry to hear you've been going through a tough time lately. How are you doing now, have things improved at all? E sounds like he's a very bright little boy, and if he's been feeling frustrated then might that help explain why he's been a bit naughty? Is there no way he could start Pre-school then school a bit early if he's ready for it? Birth dates can be a pain sometimes... At our school they have been know to start children off who are only three, in fact once one child did it they seem to have started a bit of a trend, and we get a handful of three year olds in each class now each September. We're different to the UK though...
BTW, with regard to your anxiety, have you thought or heard about something called CBT? Think it stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It's a way of dealing with anxieties, problems etc that changes the way you think about them, rather than other types of counselling that go back to the source of the problem, which can be distressing and in my opinion quite exhausting. It's supposed to be amazing. I've been in touch with a CBT lady here, and have my first appointment in a couple of weeks. Maybe it's worth a try to see if it can help you? Lots of love xxx

Right, better go as need to get cracking... Got a friend and her children coming to stay next week, and the spare room looks like a bombs hit it Grin
The sun is shining too, would much rather be outside...
Love to you all xxx
