Hello all waves madly

Well my body decided to be play silly buggers the past couple of months. On my first cycle TTC, no less! AF arrived today, on CD46. HARRUMPH. Har har good joke, ladybits! Angry

But I am very delighted to see her in fact because I means my two months of confusion is over and I can now get cracking on this shiny new cycle!

Who's with me???? This is a glorious Superlux Superbus (the kind you'd see US presidential candidates rolling about in), with all de mod cons (dedicated champers fridge and shiny chrome margarita blender).

Zara1984 - TTC#1, Cycle 2, AF due 24 Feb

BlueX congratulations!!

Belgrano that sounds like a BFP to me! A line is a line, well done! Try a more sensitive test, the most sensitive are the Superdrug early ones in a pink box. They're around £5 for 2.

So today I have a rash aaaaalllll over me. I'm hoping it's not chicken pox as a lady in my team is off sick with that. Of course I've been googling and it it could be down to an oestrogen surge. Might just be stress like everything else though...!

Belgrano · 21/02/2012 13:29

Congrats to all BFPers! Can I add a new category - skinny, faint positive? Tested yesterday morning, First Response, 2 days before AF due, not with first morning urine.

Got a faint faint line. Definitely there, pink not grey (so not an evaporation line) and it has got stronger over the past 30 hours too as I have still got the test in my pocket (!). Tested with another First Response around 4 pm and the same sort of line appeared, possibly a bit stronger. Again, it's still there now.

BUT the Lloyds Pharmacy one I bought this morning (I know, I know, stop spending money on tests) was a BFN. Well, a vague grey shadow in the positive line area. Not really a line. Does this mean I am out? Thinking hormone levels could be on the way out....Or the Lloyds Pharmacy one is less sensitive. AF not actually due until tomorrow so I guess I will test with early morning wee tomorrow on my one remaining Lloyds test...

So, sort of exciting but don't put me on the BFP list please!

backwardpossom · 21/02/2012 12:27

Congrats BlueX!

PuggyMum · 21/02/2012 10:05

Hi all x

Well this weekend we were supposed to be SWI but on Friday am I woke up with a sore throat that developed into a cough and then a chest infection and had to go to the ooh docs on Sunday :( I blame all the singing I did!

I'll jump off this bus and go to the pub until the next one comes along!

Congrats to all the BFP's x x

BlueX · 21/02/2012 09:37

Hello everyone!

Sorry to all those for who AF has arrived or have had BFNs - lots of luck for the next bus/shuttle!

I've actually been purposelfuly absent this past month as TTC in January took over my life and it was not healthy for me. This month, I decided I would take it easy and not let it consume me.

Anyway, my cycle was surprisingly erratic last month as I am always very regular so that had really thrown me off. This morning I decided to POAS as I am due AF sometime this week (maybe 24th?). Imagine my surprise when it was a BFP!!! Trying not to get too excited as it is very early days.

Thought it would only be best to provide everyone with an update!
Congrats to all others with BFPs this month Grin

PrimalChic · 21/02/2012 09:26

pipbin that's rubbish :( What are day 21 bloods?

better the 'just relax' drives me mad. Told my pg friend that I think I ovulated 2 weeks later than normal and she told me it was because I was stressed. Stressed? Really? You know, I hadn't noticed, thanks for pointing that out.

8th BFN this morning, I should just give up and wait for AF, I think she'll come on Sunday.

Pipbin · 20/02/2012 21:47

Thanks Cherry. AF isn't singing yet, but I think she is warming up.

cherrypiew3 · 20/02/2012 21:42

Pipbin and Better good luck for the next bus.

Well think I am now in the start of the 2ww really hope we have done enough this month everyone around me seems to pg at the moment.

bettergetamoveon · 20/02/2012 21:36

PrimalChic, I know that feels when people ask you if you're pg yet. Last time we were ttc I stupidly told a few people. On the 8th month we were at a christening and my friend asked me in front of everyone if we'd had any luck yet. I was just relieved my dh had left the table at the time because he'd have been embarassed. The 'just relax' stuff really got to me too. Bloody patronising Angry I'm not telling anyone we're trying this time!

PrimalChic · 20/02/2012 20:50

What is it with AF and Mondays? Sorry ladies, will see you on the next bus (or the one after that depending on when the aunt decides to grace us with her presence)

Ah ladies, this is hard work. Wishing I hadn't told my pregnant friend we were trying. Her annoying DP kept asking about it at the weekend and said "third time lucky" a lot, and trying to providing advice like he was an expert in conception. They got knocked up first go on holiday, it ain't rocket science, condescending arse!

Having a nice Brew, always makes things seem better.

Pipbin · 20/02/2012 18:00

I think I'm out too. Spotting is getting heavier and contains clots.

Had my 'day 21' bloods taken today.

bettergetamoveon · 20/02/2012 09:37

I'm out this month, AF got me. Late OV, spotting, then early arrival of AF. Therefore a short LP. Not good.

Moving on to the next bus with a new plan of action.

Congratulations to all the BFPs and good luck to the rest of you still due to test. Better run and catch this other bus!

roxy31 · 19/02/2012 20:57

My AF arrived on fri after my post :( Really disappointed as I thought this was our month and were both trying not to get too disheartened by how long ttc#1 is taking.

Staying on the bus for support.

Really pleased for all the ladies with bfps this month, huge congrats x

Cejay8 · 19/02/2012 20:21

AF arrived a day early Sad so I'm out too. See some of you on the next bus perhaps x

RunningKatie · 19/02/2012 19:36

Best of luck Chunky.

Zara - I carried on running with DD until I was about 6 months pg. then I just cross-trained and swam a lot. I was supposed to be doing the London Marathon in April, but have deferred my place till next year, still don't think I'll be doing it then either!

cherrypiew3 · 19/02/2012 18:18

CongratulationsLiege, Magneto and Zara Smile

Chunky best of luck.

Floating sorry AF got you.

Think we have dtd right on time this month so I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed. Although we are moving house in a few weeks and I am really starting to feel stressed about everything so it can not be helping.

Good luck to anyone testing in the next few daysSmile

TuesdayNightClub · 19/02/2012 16:37

Congratulations liege that is wonderful!

I'm really sorry you are leaving us lotus and I'm not surprised you are off mn for a few days. I would do the same - I keep getting super excited that this is our month and I know if/when AF arrives I'll be distraught.

I'm in the 2ww, think I am 6-13dpo, not quite sure, but have had cramping and af symptoms every day since Friday so I'm not too sure what's going on. Good luck to all testers!

Pipbin · 19/02/2012 16:36

Sorry to hear that Lotus. See you on the next bus?

floatinglotus · 19/02/2012 16:28

Hey, just popping in to say that AF arrived this weekend :( I'm really upset about it, so I'm going to bow out of this thread and stay away from mumsnet for a few days. Good luck to everyone else!

Pipbin · 19/02/2012 16:14

Thought I would update this. Looks like we are all in the two week wait now. Do move yourselves around if you have changed etc.
And Congratulations Liege

Primal No BFP here! Nothing yet. Maybe you can see into the future though.............

PrimalChic · 19/02/2012 15:51

Wishing chunky all the best, it sounds like you have so much to think about now, and I completely understand the issue of MN feeding an obsession. Best of luck x

Congratulations to Zara, Pipbin and Liege! It's been a busy weekend!

Still no news here, no AF and the 7th BFN yesterday so had much Wine

Much love and support to you chunky take good care of yourself.

fingers crossed for you pipbin

Happy sunday to you all

Pipbin · 18/02/2012 13:07

Sorry to hear that Chunky come back when the time is right for you.

I've not kept the stick Zara. I've put it in the kitchen bin to make me stop staring at it.
Also Chunky's post is a salient reminder of the dangers of early testing.
