Hello all waves madly

Well my body decided to be play silly buggers the past couple of months. On my first cycle TTC, no less! AF arrived today, on CD46. HARRUMPH. Har har good joke, ladybits! Angry

But I am very delighted to see her in fact because I means my two months of confusion is over and I can now get cracking on this shiny new cycle!

Who's with me???? This is a glorious Superlux Superbus (the kind you'd see US presidential candidates rolling about in), with all de mod cons (dedicated champers fridge and shiny chrome margarita blender).

Zara1984 - TTC#1, Cycle 2, AF due 24 Feb

And Mustbedue thanks for the congrats and I was definitely going to wait until I was late/due AF this cycle, because I didn't want any disappointments. I caved. I admit it. I gave in to peer pressure Wink BUT you won't find me putting the pressure on anyone else... Oh no.

Just to say though, you can use the superdrug ones 11dpo.

Just a thought... Grin

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 07/02/2012 17:02

OK, I'm on it!!

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 17:00

Mustbedue - just get down to some more SWI!!! Just to be on the safe side obviously Wink

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 16:59

Thanks Piggyboo - I had the weeing ALL the time and sore boobs with my DD too, but equally I didn't want to get my hopes this month either! Can't quite believe it either, keep wondering if I'll still be pregnant tomorrow... Confused

Due date works out to 21/10. I have already worked out when I should go on maternity leave too. Bit early, much?!!! Blush

It also potentially means that the gap between my 2DC (madness saying that...) would be te same as my friends 2, who are/going to be exactly 6 months older than mine, and she was 6 months older than me... If that makes sense!!! Well, it does to me Wink

I should definitely step away from the laptop now though because a) I have loads of housework and work-work to do and b) I'm getting a tad carried away. Hmm

How are you though Piggyboo - any symptoms?

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 07/02/2012 16:55

Congratulations to piggyboo, celebmum and chunky!! Amazing news!

I'm taking this good news as a great sign of things to come.

I am on 2WW and since yesterday (4dpo) have had period -ike pains and watery CM. Which is all very odd. So now wondering if my charting/OPK/pains last week were wrong and this is actually a late ovulation (but have never had pain like this before), but trying not to can't imagine that this is an early symptom as that would be very early surely!!

10 days until I test if can hold out that long

piggyboo · 07/02/2012 16:36

congrats chunky i nearly posted earlier to say being thirsty/peeing lots was my only sign with DD, but i didn't want to get your hopes up. Its brilliant news whats your due date? I'm due 18th Oct seems like forever away.

PrimalChic · 07/02/2012 16:11

This is another lucky bus! Is anyone else going to test on Saturday? I'm off to superdrug this evening to get the super-tests!

Yes primal, you're next Grin!

11 sleeps till I test.... I need to update my stats actually as ovulation came on time for me (thank you for the heads-up CBFM!).

Sticklebricksuk · 07/02/2012 15:48

Congrats chunky. I'm due on Thursday but having mad cramps since Sunday but still no AF. Hoping hard it's implantation cramps and not premenstrual ones but time will tell. Sooooo hoping I'm joining the successes on this thread x

backwardpossom · 07/02/2012 14:46

Congrats Chunky!! Grin

TooMuchRumba79 · 07/02/2012 14:41

Congrats Chunky!!! Im so happy for you both Chunky and celebmum!! (so sorry to hear about your grandad celebmum)
PrimalChic - you're next Wink! Let's keep those BFPs coming ladies!

Who else is going even more crazy with the 2ww now???

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 14:40

Exactly PrimalChic - my mum's 60th next weekend, and figured after AF should have left, I could party hard!!! Now I'm Des for the next few months (FX all being well, touch wood etc etc!!!) Make sure its a superdrug one though, they're clearly lucky Wink

DH over the moon, wants to tell someone now but knows we should wait...

Just put my dates into my Happy Pregnancy app (obsessed much?? Blush ) and the due date is my DD 2.5yr point exactly. Fate obviously... Hmm And that was without even trying to fudge the figures and put in AF date differently due to the spotting I had.

So weird thinking it actually happened though, and so quickly!!! I'm a very lucky lady :o

PrimalChic · 07/02/2012 14:27

chunkychicken congratulations! So pleased for you.

I have everything crossed for joining you ladies on Saturday but if I don't, I'll be dancing til dawn instead of leaving the bar at a sensible time! Silver lining and all that!

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 14:14

Thanks celebmum I'm glad you knew it - I was ready for disappointment so when I saw the faint pink line I had to run & fetch the packet out of the bin to check which way the line was meant to be... I still can't believe it. Fingers crossed we'll have little 'sticky beans' :) Oh and sorry about your sad news.

PrimalChic I didn't believe I had any real symptoms either but as I said up-thread, anything I had I tried to dismiss. Keeping fingers crossed for you though - not long to wait now though??!!

celebmum · 07/02/2012 14:04

Wow chunky! Congrats!!Grin

Not really primal, I just got up this morning and I knew I was going to get a BFP! Hadn't even been planning on testing! Though thinking back I've been a bit arsey and short tempered of late but put that down to alot going on at the mo. Smile

celebmum · 07/02/2012 14:02

Aaaaarrgh!!! Chunky!!! I knew it!!!! I had very good feelings for you!!! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 13:59

OMG OMG OMG

BFP!!!!!!

VERY faint but def there.

Shock
Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 13:50

Ok I caved... Just POAS. Now to sit here like lemon waiting for the inevitable BFN Hmm

PrimalChic · 07/02/2012 13:34

Congratulations celebmum!!! A line is a line no matter how fine! Did you have any early symptoms?

I've just bought a card for DH for next week (we don't usually do V day) in case I get a BFP...

celebmum · 07/02/2012 13:33

Ooh chunky you have amazing will power!! I'd have wee'd on em all by now!! Grin

Thanks, I'm excited and nervous, my heads spinning! Just want to get this weekend over and make sure it's a full positive IYSWIM.Smile

My grandad passed away this week.. So happy/sad all over the place!

FrenchLimeBlossom · 07/02/2012 13:32

OOOh celebmum and piggyboo excellent news! well done! So pleased for you.

Well I've had EWCF this weekend, managed to SWI a couple of times and planning one more today for good luck and then I think it's the 2ww for me. Just really want this to work asap, have been charting and monitoring where I am in the cycle so hopefully we've given ourselves the best chance for the month. Come on body!

Chunky i think you should test...... Smile

Chunkychicken · 07/02/2012 13:19

Wow Congrats Celebmum. SOOOOO tempted to test (have 3 superdrug ones in the bathroom cabinet) but I shouldn't.... should I??!!! Best to wait until the morning. Hmm

No idea about your situation backward as never had a coil but I have had spotting from having a smear, so it could be linked to the removal.

backwardpossom · 07/02/2012 10:06

Congrats celebmum!!

Hmm, I'm really confused at the moment. I have some symptoms (sore boobs, more CM, wind etc - all symptoms I had with DS), and I had what I thought was AF starting the other day (a few days early) but it was a day and a half of spotting then nothing. Now this isn't an unusual AF for me when I was on the coil... and my coil was only removed last week. We had DTD a few days before the coil was removed and I've just read that sperm can survive up to 5 days in the body. I don't think I could be, but hmm... I know this is daft. Please don't laugh at me! It must be coil-removal related, right? Anyone else have this after their mirena coil was removed?

TooMuchRumba79 · 07/02/2012 09:24

oh wow Celebmum!!! congrats!! I'm sure the line will only get stronger by the weekend!!
