Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone is trying for baby number 2?

Bewler · 27/02/2012 13:51

Hey ladies its all gone quiet! Are you all busy POS working? Smile

CD23 for me today. AF due any time in the next 4 days.

Really want to POAS but don't want to see that BFN!

Anyone else waiting for AF?

Bewler · 22/02/2012 14:43

Huppo Sad - its not over till AF arrives though.....FX

HelloBear · 21/02/2012 20:31

Noooo Huppo I was certain that you would be posting a BFP :(

FX that one does come soon.

TheresAHuppoInMyHouse · 21/02/2012 18:23

Many congrats, Bear!

I just tested again, feeling confident ... guess what - BFN.

This is messin wiv ma hed.

HelloBear · 20/02/2012 20:53

Thanks bewler and Cheshire. I have been increadibly lucky and this is my first cycle. But I stopped bf 8 months ago (my DD is 21 months) and have not gone back on contraception since she was born, been using condoms. So though we were not TTC I had started to note my periods and when I thought I was oving by using cervical m.

Oh and welcome Chesire:)

CheshireDing · 20/02/2012 15:26

Yeah! Congratulations Bear :)

Can I ask, have you been trying long and are you bf or anything? Sorry I am a newbie to this thread.

Bewler · 20/02/2012 13:48

Woooo hoooo congratulations HelloBear that's fantastic!!! So which cycle was that for you? Did you do anything different other than quaff wine? Grin

HelloBear · 20/02/2012 13:34

Naughty me, did a CB digital 2 days before Af due...BFP!

OMG! Much, much, much quicker than expected! And I had 2 glasses of wine on saturday.

Good luck to you all I hope to see more positives soon.

Margie32 · 19/02/2012 20:18

Hi everyone,

Pink so sorry to hear about your brother, best of luck for whatever the next few months hold.

Pips good luck with the dreaded 2WW, can I just ask why you wanted to avoid having a baby in Nov/Dec/Jan? Too close to Xmas?

Huppo it all sounds a bit odd if you ask me, I'm holding out hope that you'll get a BFP when you test next time. Fingers crossed for you!

We've started SWI here, today is day 14 of my cycle but I'm pretty sure I don't ovulate until day 23ish. But no harm doing some warm-ups I say Wink! I'll be in the UK next weekend (live in Barcelona) without DH which is awful timing...Angry. So I'm pretty convinced that this isn't going to be our month. But hey ho, trying to stay relaxed about it instead of my normal neurotic self...

CheshireDing · 19/02/2012 19:32

Huppo def stock up on the cheese and any wine I say Grin

Bewler · 19/02/2012 18:29

Heels what a good girl your DD is! Although 7 is quite early for me because I'm a lazy cow - if we have a night time waking or two she usually goes through till 8. Still I would man up to early wakings if she did start going through more often Smile

Huppo thats mega exciting!! fx you get your BFP! That would be great!

Pips welcome! We had a night in a hotel this weekend and I'm now on the 2ww too (well, its CD15 and I'm averaging 23-26 day cycles). Best bit was DTD in a warm room! At home I'm reluctant to relinquish my pj top as its fricking freezing!! Grin hope you got lucky in more ways than one! Grin

Cheshire sorry about your smear Sad how annoying to have to put things on hold. Hope everything is ok though.

How is eveyone else?

TheresAHuppoInMyHouse · 19/02/2012 12:51

Hi Cheshire, no I'm not testing this morning, although today I have convinced myself that there MUST be a good reason for my cycle being so delayed! When I'm back in town for work tomorrow, I might invest in another test. I seem to remember I got a few negatives before finding out I was pregnant with DD, but I'd just come off the pill so my cycle was very very unpredictable.

And before I get a BFP, I'm still allowed cheese and red wine, right?! Blush

CheshireDing · 19/02/2012 08:26

Are you going to do a test this morning Huppo?

Mine kept saying negative for weeks with DD.

TheresAHuppoInMyHouse · 18/02/2012 12:29

Quick update here ... now 8 days late for my normally clockwork period ... the tests I've done have been negative but I am getting less convinced by their '99% accurate' claims.

CheshireDing · 17/02/2012 20:05

How exciting Pops, fx for you.

We areoff ttc for the next 3 weeks now whilst we wait for some dodgey smear results for mr, not worried about the results as I often have to have it checked but naffed off that we have to wait, its hard enough whilst ebf without adding 3 weeks to it :(

wineisamumsbestfriend · 17/02/2012 12:44

Pipsicles- how exciting! Fingers crossed for you. We also started ttc on valentines. Ds 15months and been thinking about it awhile and had talked about it way too much. Was time for some action :p Great you got a night off and could have some time together. Fingers crossed for you! Waiting is crazy and u look for every detail... I was lucky and got preg quickly first time. Hope it's not too long this time. Am not very patient but cupcakes help!!

pipsicles · 17/02/2012 11:24

Hello all, can I join you? I come bearing cupcakes!

DS1 has just turned 1 on Sunday and I was SO emotional about it! Obviously, I'm over the moon he's so happy and healthy and all that jazz, but have to say that I am really struggling to get to grips with the fact that he is rapidly approaching toddlerhood and I really miss my little baby! :(

DH had (kind of) agreed to start TTC in April/May so that there would be a 2 yr age gap if all went to plan, and I was keen to avoid a baby being born in November/December/January.

However...Valentine's day was also our third anniversary and we had our first 24hrs away from DS in a hotel! I've been temping for the last 4-5 months to not get pg (felt quite weird looking at when NOT to DTD, esp as that is when I feel most like doing it hahaha!!!), so knew we needed to take precautions, which we did...the first time! We had, for the first time in nearly 2yrs, the most wonderfully indulgent evening in bed and ended up throwing caution to the wind! The next morning, I had a temperature spike and am now on the 2ww!

So, I was hoping I am allowed in, even though I'm not actually TTC officially and will wait if unsuccessful this month, but know I will need support this next two weeks as I drive myself crazy waiting!

HaveToWearHeels · 17/02/2012 09:13

Hi Bewler, she is 2.5 today actually but has been sleeping 7.30pm to 7am since she was about 10 months old which is fab. Obviously we have the odd might where she wakes but a kiss and back rub normally does the trick. Thing is when she does wake I get all moody becasue I am so used to her going through lol

Bewler · 16/02/2012 21:03

heels how old is your DD? I cant wait till my DD sleeps a bit better so I can palm her off onto grandparents for a night every now and then. She's easy to settle but does keep waking up for a drink of water and a cuddle which is getting a bit tedious! She sleeps through sometimes but other nights she can wake 2 or 3 times so quite unpredictable. I can spy a few new teeth on their way so maybe that's it. Who knows! Smile

HaveToWearHeels · 16/02/2012 16:06

pinktrike I was 39 when I had DD so I wouldn't worry about toy being past it.

Thanks Bewler. Thats a difficult combination lol maybe you need two nights away. Hope you enjoy it. We have just had 5 nights away in Egypt, missed DD like made as I felt just so far away. She is a good sleeper so Nana doesn't mind having her.

Bewler · 16/02/2012 13:41

blimey pink, so sorry about your brother Sad. I think its very selfless and brave of you to be so forthcoming about donating. He is lucky to have you as a sister! Smile

Welcome Heels, really sorry about your MMC, really hope this thread brings you luck. I am CD 12 and SWI is in full swing (er, obviously not right now) so fingers crossed. Off to a hotel with DH for my birthday on saturday - our first night away from DD. When she was younger I couldn't bear the thought of leaving her overnight, she's now sleeping like such a rotter that I can't bloody wait for a night off!! Grin We are going to have to combine DH's fantasy night of honeymoon type sex and raunchy undies with my fantasy of going to the spa and reading my book in the bath with a glass of wine and going to sleep and NOT BEING WOKEN UP until morning! Grin

pinktrike · 16/02/2012 10:14

Thanks for all the words of wisdom and support. How much can change in 24 hours. We won't be trying this month at all. I think that's a good thing. Hopefully we'll be able to start again soon and we'll both be absolutely ready.. in my head we've been trying for months, but think my DH is only ready now. We had a chat about it after the other news... Found out that my brother needs a transplant, most likely from a sibling. They won't take transplants from pregnant women nor for one year post-natally. So, the trying is off until i've either donated or been crossed off the possibles list. Hopefully, I'll be able to donate. :)

HaveToWearHeels · 15/02/2012 22:50

Hi ladies, can I join too please ?

DH and I are trying again for #2 after a MMC on 6th Jan this year.

Took a year of trying for that one, so thought you ladies might bring me some luck. Am 42 in June so need to get on with things. Haven't yet had AF since ERPC but we are still trying as I fell for DD 8 days after ectopic and tube removal so I have been on it right away.

Doing a combination of weekly pregnancy tests and daily Ovulation tests, good job I bought some cheapies as nothing yet :o(.

HelloBear · 15/02/2012 21:16

Wow a nice a busy thread:)

Debussy your cycle looks confusing to me! It looks like you will have to do 3 weeks of SWI [yawnemotion]. I know it's been said before but we spend years obsessing about NOT getting pregnant to then find out that it is bloody complicated TO get pregnant!

wine welcome! Thanks for the wine, i have to confess that due to my gut that I'm nit up the duff I had a very small glad of White wine [Blush].

pink feel free to come on here and vent, I think there is always someone who us experiencing something similar. I hope you tie your husband down this month. Well not literally Blush unless that's your thing!

Ok I'll leave now!!!

Off to watch OBEM to depress myself.
