Ok, well, you need to ask the doc why Mr Pipbin has to do it again if only to reassure yourself. You're probably both fretting about it when they may just have lost it or something - two of my smear tests got lost/broken and they kept asking me to do it again.

Your luteal phase seems a bit short but are you sure it's right? Are you using ovulation kits? You may be a bit out with your dates which would explain why it's not happening.

You're still young, there's no reason why it's not going to work! The sad truth is that we're not all equal and for some people it takes longer, but the problem is the longer it takes the more you fret and the more you fret the less likely you are to conceive. A nurse once told me that the best contraception she knew was stress. I know it's not easy but try to forget about baby for a bit and concentrate on you and Mr Pipbin, do something nice together and also for yourself. A healthy pregnancy starts with a healthy you I think.

I'm 36 until April and TTC number 1. Everyone else around me seems to be getting pregnant after either not trying or trying for about 2 months.
And it seems that AF is going to get me properly tomorrow which is only 10dpo.

Also we had Mr Bin tested a month ago and the doctors phoned and told us we need to do it agin but haven't to us why.

I'm just fed up with it all, I've been waiting to ttc for 10 years and I just want it to happen.

Having said that, didn't feel ready/want another until fairly recently & now even seeing a new mum with a baby for literally seconds (flicking thru & caught OBEM) made me cry (which is SO not me!!) and I'd always thought 4yr gap would be ideal!! Madness

frazzled - with dc#1 i got BFP on the day AF due, with an internet cheapie.
I'm a big fan of buying things online for the cheapest price I can get them.
It never occurred to me it was possible to test any earlier anyway!

If I get pg straight away we would only have a 19-month age gap!

Not feeling terribly well tonight but will try and summon the strength to SWI later...

Updating list as AF arrived today, so am assuming it'll go back to roughly 28 days cycle so I'll be joining the next shuttle that comes along.

Feck me (actually, no, I'm not ovulating), 13 months!! Feel sick...

We'll have a 3 year and 2 months gap if I get pregnant this month. I probably would have gone for the 2 year gap too, but the timing wasn't right and now I'm glad. Having said that, we quite fancy having 3 (!!!) and I'm no spring donkey so if I may have to conceive the third pronto - she says not probably even pregnant with the second

PS: DS is lovely most of the time - I can hear him sing twinkle star in his bed, the little rascal. Awww!

My friend has 18mths between her 2 & another has a 13mths gap... Now THAT is hardcore!!!

Crazy people! 2 year gap is hardcore! I never believed in "the terrible 2s" but by God it's true and a nightmare. When DS turned 2 he definitely changed into little Damian IYKWIM. The other day he came back from the childminder and hadn't slept (for reasons I won't go into or I'll get angry again) and he was just evil, he was hitting me (!!!) and shouting at me - I ended on the floor crying that my sweet little baby had turned into a hooligan.

Anyhoo, I think after that phase the 2 year gap works quite well but I don't think I'd have the patience for it.

Winnie, when are you testing? I'm definitely not peeing on anything until next week, possibly wednesday or thursday - if nothing hasn't happened before that is...

Delphine I'm on same dpo as you my AF is due 24th ish. I'm holding off testing for as long as I can ( itching to just POAS)

I like that symmetry too, Chunky! Ours would be pretty much exactly a two-year gap if we get pg this cycle. Don't ideally want them sharing a birthday, but I'd rather be pg than not, so fingers crossed!

Currently silently fuming about our estate agents whilst DD is having a VERY late nap & furtively posting here!! Keep hoping cycle #2 is the magic number for us - especially as the due date would make it exactly 2.5years between DD & DC#2. I like the symmetry of it, more than anything!! Unlikely though in the whole scheme of things...

BFP! 2 days to AF! POAS in the loos of Heathrow T3, we're off to NZ for 3 weeks! Arrgh!

BFP! Just boarded a plane to NZ, sitting on the runway waiting to take off! POAS in the loos before boarding! 2 days to AF, did a clear blue digital. Woo hoo!

Quick question, as my temperature spiked today do I count this as DPO 1 or do I assume I Ov'd yesterday or the day before so today would be DPO 2 or 3? - i'm new to all this!
