NOW BOARDING!

I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

Thank you for the sympathy everyone. I'm feeling a bit better about it all now and DP made me a lovely dinner and supplied me with lots of chocolate to cheer me up. Bless him Smile

TTC #2 cycle 1 SWI AF 14/1

Hope I got all that correct - conceived DD from only 2nd shag w/out contraception and without really considering whether we were TTC so already very anxious this time around, and not really up to speed with the TTC acronyms etc!!!

I already have breast soreness too, so finding it VERY VERY hard not to get hopes up or dread the next 2 weeks/coming months. Fingers crossed & baby dust being scattered liberally... :-)

Awww, Lime. Dont feel to bad. I agree with ahhhhpushit and Oikopolis, treat yourself. Its also my first month and im trying not to get my hopes up to much.

Aw Lime, I'm sorry. Maybe have a vino/piece of sushi/some stinky cheese/a bloody steak to cheer yourself up. I'm also on my 1st cycle and I'm pretty sure I'm also going to be disappointed! So hard not to build it all up in your mind.

Af has arrived, feel very Sad tried not to get my hopes but obviously I failed. I know it was only our first month trying though and I have to be realistic.

Have just bought a Clear Blue. I can't wait until the 15th to use my Boots test. Only 8 more days to wait. Piece of cake. Hmm

Actually, I shouldn't have said trying that optimizing fertility diet can't hurt - if I believe it can do any good, I should say it is possible it can affect things negatively. But I am going to give it a go, is all.
All the extra herbal tea and juice has meant extra visits to the toilet, including during the night.

Prunella, I would PLAN the trip, just not pay for anything until the last minute. I don't think prices are necessarily cheaper in advance anyway. Then see where you are closer to the date, and book accordingly. We want to travel with little ones, but having one already, I now would prefer to do it once there are no nappies to contend with. But I travelled SE Asia and the Antipodes years ago, and met a couple of people doing it with young DC, so it is possible.
I am desperate to get pg ASAP so we can crack on with more travels! I am planning Latin America, and think it will be awesome for the DC.

Our window of opportunity started yesterday, but DS was doing his best Stewie Griffin impression in that episode where he is trying to stop Lois and Peter DTD - he didn't sleep at all, the little rascal! DH had to wake me early this morning before he got up for work instead! :)

now that sounds lovely Primal i wouldn't be too phased by that idea but DH has his heart set on backpacking around South East Asia and the Antipodes - no handy van sadly

Prunella, I know a couple that took their 3 month old son travelling around France in a camper an for a few months. Couldn't believe it, so soon after he was born but he was a very happy baby on the trip. I think it helped that they carried all they needed with them in the van and didn't have to think about luggage and travel cots etc. They had a great time and I think it helped them relax and get used to the whole parenting thing.
