Thanks ahhhpushit! Feeling a bit... Strange today I must say. Sore boobs and tired and dopey. Although it could all be in my head. Congrats Missus! I told my parents and siblings when I was 10 weeks as I was seeing them for hristmas. I had told two of my friends that I suspected I was pg before I POAS, but only because I was bloody terrified!

ChunkyChicken & RunningKatie, thanks for sharing. We told his parents last night and I called my mom tonight. She totally freaked out, in a good way.

I also told our flatmate because we lodge with a friend and thought it might be awkward if she guessed or overheard us talking about it or noticed me not drinking. She's very excited and can't wait to see her fiance this weekend so they can get back to TTC themselves.

I will also tell my sister but I think we'll wait until the scan before we tell anyone else.

My boobs are hurting a bit less but there are all sorts of weird cramping/pulling sensations in my womb and I must have peed eight gallons today.

AlwaysWild, what kind of acupunture? I'm fed up my cycle is clearly not playing fair this month as I should have ovulated by now and... nothing... It is so frustrating!!!

Although have just watched one born every minute... Maybe its a good job I'm not ovulating yet... I'm utterly terrified after watching it!!!

We're TTC#2, but I've only just stopped taking the pill so have no idea when AF is due next. I was regular as clockwork beforehand, and we conceived DD the first month we tried so I'm excited but nervous too.

Missus - we told my Mum the week after we knew because DH was going abroad with work and we felt someone needed to know, I think I was 6 weeks by then. We told the PIL's the following week but then kept it under wraps until after the 12 week scan as much as possible.

I have one question though, when you get the stretchy CM, is that when you're actually ovulating or when you're nearing ovulation?

iirc it's supposed to happen a 1-3 days before you ovulate, which theoretically is your most fertile time.

Chicken, I may try the tracker, thanks. I like to think that I'm quite "in tune" with my body and so I'm going to go with CM as a guide. Can't be bothered charting/taking temperature etc and I'm too tight to pay for ovulation kits. I have one question though, when you get the stretchy CM, is that when you're actually ovulating or when you're nearing ovulation? I think i've already started getting CM, although it's not the massively wet and stretchy ones - I'm day 10 in my cycle though and since my cycles are quite long it doesn't make sense does, it??

Missus: I told my best friend straightaway as I had to tell someone. I waited for the first scan for everyone else, apart my hairdresser who guessed!

Missuswife - to answer your question, when to tell - we told my parents almost straight after the BFP for #1, as my Dad was pouring me a glass of wine... We also then did the rounds to tell both DH's sets of parents & my sister. We waited until the 12wk scan to make it public knowledge. Each to their own though - do it when you feel ready! Same for knowing the sex, its up to you... Congratulations, enjoy it!! :o

Delphin - also have a bit of an erratic cycle, so the app on my phone is brilliant for me as it keeps track according to the average number of days per cycle. Not sure what its called, think its PERIOD TRACKER for Android phones. It also tracks your ovulation, although that's a bit rough & ready... Just a thought!! :)

I'm TTC#2, this is cycle 1

Last AF was 26th Dec but I don't really know when next is due, after months of 26-28 days cycles, an emotional shock has disrupted everything so Sept-October: 38 days; Oct-December: 34 days. I guess could be anywhere between 23rd Jan and 1st Feb.

Oh, and I'm not on the Pill since august 2008 and really don't get any symptoms before AF apart some cramping sometimes.

I was on last bus, fell off so would love to join the shuttle (DS loves rockets so this would be righ up our street!!)

I am an old bag of 41, have DS who is 4.10, MMC in Sept 2010 and nothing since. Had nurse appointment this am to get fertility referral rolling so had initial tests and get results and next steps in a couple of weeks. Currently on CD13 and this is 2nd cycle of CBFM and 3rd cycle using BBT. Previously had erratic and ridiculously short cycles and last month was proper 28 days long woo hoo. If hit another 28 days then AF is due 19 Jan but could be sooner or could be later who knows as I certainly don't!!!!

its only our first cycle, so not expecting much to be fair. i cant take the pill so we just use condoms but stopped this a few months back.. not really trynig as such just 'meh' IYSWIM!

whereas this month/cycle we have been SWI!

I did get pregnant with DS in my first month of actual trying so thats keeping my hopes up!

(that and all the other spooky coincidences! such as my DSs EDD was the week of my mums birthday, if i were to be pregnent now EDD would be the week of my dads birthday, according to 'dates' when i conceived it was a night one of my besties stayed over and we had chinese food.. this same friend just stayed over again over the new year and we had chinese food!)

Looking good celebmum I'm also a bit scatty, boss had to point out I had odd shoes on yesterday. I put it down to back to work blues! Luckily I had both pairs under my desk.

Primalchick - know the feeling!!! I've always had a bit of an irregular cycle since coming off the pill many, many years ago (was regular as clockwork prior to that :( ) so not entirely sure when I ov but think its about the same as you.
Plus, BB soreness was the first thing I got with my DD so I'm on tenterhooks & we've only been trying for a couple of weeks!!!! Keep thinking it must be too soon & trying to talk myself down from the high expectations ledge... :o

(tmi) I think I just spotted the teensiest bit. I think OD was 30/31 Dec. Too soon? Imagining it?! Guess who'll be running to the ladies every 20 mins to check today...

And when the cat jumped on my chest this morning my breasts were sore. But he's a 5kg cat so of course it's going to smart a bit.

Hmph. Better do some work instead of spending all day symptom spotting again.

Hi all, can I join? DH and I have bitten the bullet and decided TTC no. 2... It is scary, especially as DS was a surprise. Ovulation should have started on the 29th, so we have been SWI every two days since. I'm on my phone, can some kind soul copy and paste please?
