I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

ahhhhhpushit TTC#2 AF due 11/1

I'm currently on cd 15 so have been SWI like mad this week :)

Freddie sorry, meant to say in my last post, that sucks & better luck nxt cycle. When I had my DD I had a stupidly short cycle prior to conceiving her, prob due to stress, & had no idea when to expect AF, except sometime on our honeymoon. Luckily she was absent... Wink

Chunkychicken · 07/01/2012 10:10

Fingers crossed for you ahhhhhpushit.

Have now convinced myself that we're going to have to DTD next month, so telling DH that I'll be 'forcing' him to SWI every other day, regardless... He seems up for the challenge, but then, it'll only be cycle 2. I'll ask him in a few cycles time whether he's as happy about it!!!

So conflicted at mo too. Feeling totally unpregnant but really wanted to achieve it first time, as we did with DD. At the same time, feel like I'm not appreciative of my DD, how simple it all was then & stupidly fixated on the 'ideal' age gap between them... Surely it'll happen when its meant to??!!

Losing the faith so early on in the enterprise, I have no staying power!!! If I could face Wine, I'd raise a (couple of) glass to everyone in the same position & drown my sorrows!! Wink

PrimalChic · 07/01/2012 10:01

freddie that's rubbish :( hope you had a generous measure of whiskey and maybe a nibble of blue cheese left over from Christmas

PrimalChic · 07/01/2012 09:59

Happy Birthday ahhhhpushit!!!

Test day today? Best birthday present ever, surely!

MadMonkeys · 07/01/2012 08:58

No updates from me - my resolve was strong enough to resist the urge to test this morning. I've only got two tests left (until my Ebay beauties arrive) so I'm saving them for Monday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's so hard isn't it? My cycles can be quite irregular so it can be a long wait to see what's happened. Last time we were ttc my cycles were up to 56 days long - that was annoying! But they are generally around 30 days since having DD so hopefully I should know one way or the other next week. Then it all starts again!

ahhhhhpushit · 07/01/2012 00:06

piggy and madmonkey any updates???

Uff. I am thoroughly pissed off. Feeling crampy, dizzy and nauseous in work and I got a little excited, thinking it could be implantation, but no, it's AF. Thought it could have been implantation bleeding but there is far too much of it. Should not have got my hopes up! Pissed off because it is 9 days early!! This never happens. I'll put it down to being stressed with work and exams and try again next month. Currently munching my way through the last of the Christmas chocolate while drinking hot whiskey to make up for it!

Sorry for tempting you all with the lure of Ebay! The symptom spotting is crazy isn't it? I was almost sure a week ago that I must be pregnant as I had cramps and nausea. but all of that has gone now so I really don't know if it was all in my head or not. Only time will tell...

oikopolis · 06/01/2012 20:13

PrimalChic that's encouraging!! I have certainly spent a fortune, so Murphy will most likely be on my side

howiwonder · 06/01/2012 20:04

my ebays arrived in the post yesterday! they are staring at me, but this is ridiculously early even by my impatient standards, so i shall step away from the tests for a few more days.
have had a few dizzy moments the past couple of days though so cant help wondering (suffered lots of those when preg with DS). so hard not to symptom obsess, isnt it!!!!

PrimalChic · 06/01/2012 19:51

A friend of mine bought lots, got a bfp first month, first test. Spend a fortune on lots then that bfp is bound to happen!

83BumbleBee · 06/01/2012 19:35

Oh ive just had a look at Ebay, how tempting! As much as i want to i'd end up feeling like Oikopolis so going to try (as hard as i can) to hang on until the end of the month Hmm

RunningKatie · 06/01/2012 19:26

It's strange not knowing when my period's due, DH is very helpfully suggesting we try DTD lots just in case Grin.

Last time, I realised something was up when I could smell a packet of cheese & onion crisps being opened from 5 desks away, and I had to get my colleague to put his raw onion and something sarnies in a drawer because they stank. How I managed to keep in under wraps at work till week 12 I have no idea. However, they were all blokes so not as observant as women would be!

I am not looking at ebay pregnancy tests, I'm truly not.....

oikopolis · 06/01/2012 19:15

83BumbleBee I just feel like time has slooooowed down. It's like waiting for the next Ice Age.

MadMonkeys aren't they tempting at those prices eh... I've got far too many... although I keep thinking "I'll only get pg after I've used every. single. one. of them and have JUST ordered another bumper pack"

MadMonkeys · 06/01/2012 18:49

Wow, Ebay pregnancy tests are so cheap! I've just ordered some, just in case I still need some next month...!

83BumbleBee · 06/01/2012 18:43

Hi Ladies!

This is my first month of TTC and i think im just a tad obsessed so need a bit of calming down!

I had some EWCM today (sorry tmi), it was a bit earlier than what i was expecting so found myself quite excited earlier today! Never knew EWCM could be so exciting or am i just going mad!!? Im only on day 9 of my cycle so wasnt expecting it for another few days so looks like i will be spending my weekend and next week DTD Grin

How is everyone else coping with the waiting? Although im uber excited im trying not to get my hopes up to much this month.

Thats a good point PrimalChic, think i'd have to try and wait for the weekend as i would be useless if i found out on a week day.

Fingers crossed everyone. x

PrimalChic · 06/01/2012 17:57

You're all so good! I was planning on testing on Sunday morning (9dpo!) as I bought a first response. Am I being to optimistic? Promised myself i could have an FR if I didn't buy lunch all week and I managed it. Except for today but 3/4 is pretty good. So the tests were free really? Shopping maths, brilliant.

I didn't want to find out on a weekday morning as I'll be useless at work and end up in tears in the boss's office, I just know it!

If it's a BFN on Sunday, I'm going to finish the half glass of port still in the bottle from Christmas.

Good luck to those testing in the morning and happy symptom spotting everyone else. I've had some blinders this week but far tmi!!

MadMonkeys · 06/01/2012 17:37

In a moment of madness this afternoon I tested, dpo11. Bfn obviously, why on earth did I waste a test in the middle of the afternoon? No more til Monday. Unless I weaken. Which won't happoen. I think.

ahhhhhpushit · 06/01/2012 17:23

With ds we tried once and then I changed my mind and went back on the pill!!! Didn't even cross my mind it had worked!!!! Not so easy this time...

OP posts:
OptiMumPrime · 06/01/2012 17:18

Hi, MrsC! I was on the Polar Express. Hope this is a more fruitful journey for us all!

ahhhhh, I know that feeling. Every month I tell myself to have a PMA, that this is the month. Fingers and toes crossed we are made right this time.

ahhhhhpushit · 06/01/2012 16:55

Dammit you lot are so much more disciplined than I am!! Saying that they are cheapies. Not doing my nerves any favours though.

Feeling thoroughly unpregnant today. Although with DS I didn't find out until I was 7 weeks (was on the pill) and I wouldn't have guessed then either. We'll see...

I think DH will be very disappointed. He was pretty sure it would be our month this month...

Am on phone so will update the list later. Welcome TheNewMrsC. Wow that was a long cycle - your nerves must have been to shreds!
