End Sept/Beg Oct Space Shuttle - the first 2012 conceptions!!

Hi ladies, I'm having an emotionally rubbish day today (suspect PMT - and had BFN this am unlike Angelico )
CD39.... ridiculous..
I know it has only been 6 months and I know there are lots on the talk boards that have been trying much longer, but I'm really down about it today. DH doesn't quite get it, he's very supportive, but can't understand why I'm sad.
I'm normally very upbeat and can rationalise things, find silver linings etc and I hate the way hormones can cloud that ability.

My good friend had her baby this morning and when I got the news I literally sobbed, I think with jealousy (obviously not to her! just DH)
But hey - bring on the and tomorrow is another day...

Just done a first response test 5 days before AF due. BFN

I know it's still early but I've got a birthday party tonight so thought I'd test just in case.

Have cramps too so think I'll be getting off the shuttle soon.....

Was beaten to the answer! :-) But I know it picked up faintly 5 days before AF was due. In fact it was really weird - I had just been having the worst day ever and had what I thought was psychotic PMT. I actually said to my DH "Yeah well we're definitely not pregnant this month". Ever had a weird, insane PMT frame of mind where you almost want to make it worse??? Hard to explain but that was what I was feeling. I did the test to just kind of prove how sh*t the world was. And then when a ghostly pink line appeared I was like ... oh. Am I seeing things? That was Mon. It was clearer on Tues and by Wed (2 days pre-AF) it jumped out. So basically what I thought was nuthouse level PMT turned out to be... pregnancy. Oh joy.

83 sorry about AF. Fingers crossed for next month.

I'm on CD30 and 9DPO. I had nausea and period-like cramps on each of 5 - 8 DPO, worst on 7DPO but feel ok today. As it's my first cycle off the pill, I don't know when AF is due. Wednesday will be 14DPO but I'm not planning on testing until Saturday if I can wait that long if AF hasn't arrived. Have to admit I nearly bought a test on my way home but managed to talk myself out of it.

Its definatley AF, she has come with full on cramps, bloated tummy and general feeling of wanting to stuff myself full of chocolate:-) Have no idea what the spotting was all about earlier in the week!? Just there to tease me!

Just spoke to DH and his response was, can we have more swi this month!? To be fair, we would have been really lucky to get a bfp this month as we only dtd a few times so im not going to complain about his suggestions!!:-P

Sorry to hear that Bumblebee. If AF is very light or anything you should do a test anyway just to make sure as apparently some people still get bleeding and the other drops of dark blood sounded promising. xo

Guess who decided to visit today!? Yep, you guessed it, af!!!! Suppose I will just have to put my tests away until next month. Next time im going to try and wait until cd 31-32, have no idea how I will hang on that long but thats the plan!

Basically a lot of people swear by Superdrug tests so don't be put off by their price - I got 4 for 6 or 7 quid.

Did you test Bumblebee? I used Superdrug tests and was a bit worried about their reliability - but they seemed to be spot on! You might find this thread I started helpful:

Thats me off this shuttle ladies. Its been one of the luckiest ones I think I've been on! AF appeared with a vengance this morning, so its on to cycle 23 for us. We have been attending the fertility clinic over the past 9 months and were told when we went this week that our only option is IVF. Its a big step and one we didnt think we would consider, but now we have the chance, we're thinking we have to give it a try. We already have a DD, so have to self fund. We'll be scrabbling around for pennies down the side of the sofa at this rate!

I'm sure i ov'd today so moving myself off the bench and into the dreaded 2ww.

Looks like i may be one of the last ones left on this shuttle, holding onto the seat refusing to move onto the next bus. FC i'll go straight to the pg bus with the other BFPs x

83 I agree test in the morning. have you got some early/sensitive tests?

I have just ordered the cheapest pregnancy tests ever from ebay - 5 for £1.29!!! yes FIVE! they are sensitve to 10miu which i think is quite good.
anyway we will see.

I'm testing next Friday cherry - I'll be day 45 and have plans for the weekend, so will test to know where I stand - if AF hasn't arrived first of course.

83 sounds very promising, but if you can hold out until CD31 or even CD32 I'd be very impressed... fingers crossed!

We are going to see snow patrol on Friday! I have romantic visions of telling DH I've got a bfp during chasing cars! If I test on the week and it is I don't think I will make it!
I've told him AF due on Sunday and you can't test before then! He he!!
If its a bfn I've got a hen weekend in Feb so I can drink...!!

Puggymum I am due a visit from AF next Friday and I am ss like mad going to try and hold out until Sunday before I test that's if Af does not turn up.

Congrats to the BFP's from the back of the shuttle! I'll be one of the last ones to get off and hope it's a pregnancy thread I go to next not the next shuttle!
7 days to AF. It's taking forever....... Ive got 6 tests in the drawer under my bed!! Don't want to waste them but not sure I can wait till next week!!

I've got mild cramps today that could be the rumblings of an early AF... I reckon I can wait until Thursday when it's due and of not early I'll test then!!

Wow! This really is a lucky BFP shuttle!

Congratulations to all who have had a BFP and fingers crossed for those hoping for one next month.

Right, i need some advice - im going out of mind and willpower is almost non existent at the mo!

What would you do? Test or not test? My cycles can be anywhere between 26 and 31 days. Im now on cd 28. I havent got round to POAS to check ovulation etc but did notice EWCM so DTD a few times around this time. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday this week i had some spotting. (TMI alert) it looked like the end of a period, very dark brown and only enough to cover the size of a 10p each day. Ive NEVER had spotting before. Ive not had any symptons to suggest AF is on her way and i always get bad cramps the day before so atleast i have a bit of a warning....

Anyway...i told myself i was going to wait until Saturday to test but im not sure if i can hold out until then! I bought some superdrug tests today and am now wondering should i just test tonight and see what happens?

Its only our first month of TTC so i wont be to disappointed if it is a BFN who am i kidding but i just cant wait!
