NOW BOARDING!

I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

ahhhhhpushit TTC#2 AF due 11/1

I'm currently on cd 15 so have been SWI like mad this week :)

Sorry to hear that piggyboo. I am sort of jealous of you. Am dying to take something besides paracetamol for my horrible sore throat/cough but I'm too scared to in case I'm pg. I haven't slept properly in a week!!

My temp is still well above the coverline so we'll see what happens in a few days I guess. CD10 today. Wish it was Saturday already, aaargh!

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 15:17

Sorry to hear no luck this month Piggyboo but better luck next month!!

I know what u mean about the TWW & symptom hunting, but I think I take it one step further - I take every post citing 'no symptoms' (such as yours) as proof that I still might get my BFP this month iykwim!! I'll have to wait for AF now though as out of tests... It ain't over til its over :)

piggyboo · 10/01/2012 14:58

My temp was down again this morning so didn't even bother testing as i knew AF was coming, sure enough she turned up this afternoon :(

At least i get to relax now for a couple of weeks, i think i'm gonna get DH to hide my laptop on my next TWW as i'm sure googling every sign and symptom is not helping, especially as i had no signs with my first except feeling thirsty.

So the only sign i'm going to get excited about in future is no signs at all :)

AF now due 9/2/12

Good luck to all of you still waiting for your BFPs xx

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 13:52

running isn't if funny how helpful and thorough DHs can be when it comes to TTC?!

RunningKatie · 10/01/2012 13:25

Displacedbrit - try not to stress about your age, I was 36 when I had DD as the little madam was 2 weeks late so I had another birthday, and I'll be 37 at the very youngest should we manage to conceive DC2 in the next few months! Wink

I'm feeling quite PMT'ish today & yesterday, but could also be ovulation. DH is being very helpful and offering to SWI every other day "just in case".

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 12:55

chunkychicken don't read the stats! They are incredibly depressing, especially everyone around you scores in the first month of trying. I keep thinking, well we're definitely not in the 20% then are we?! So no more stats, no more tests and no more symptom spotting for me until the weekend...

But my coffee tasted like bacon and my tea smells of fish today :) argh can't stop it!!!

KnittingAway · 10/01/2012 12:49

I'd love to join you ladies but am a bit vague about dates because I came off the pill at the end of November and no AF since then. I tested this morning and it was BFN again (5th test over last couple of weeks).

ahhhhhpushit · 10/01/2012 12:45

chunky that is probably a leetle early. Test again tomorrow and give the test about 7mins to really show and look very closely. My BFP was soooo faint it practically wasnt there Grin

cakeladyc · 10/01/2012 12:16

ahhhhhpushit eek! :)
I'm getting so impatient now, i said to DH last night, i dont want to wait until the weekend to find out!

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 12:04

FirstTime did the same - as you can see above!! D'oh or what??!! Blush

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 12:01

PrimalChic I also tested this morning, using superdrug own brand which, according to ahhhhhpushit is v sensitive, & got a BFN: AF due 14/1 so not sure if its too early or what, so feeling fed up.

panzee & celebmum I also had symptoms last week & now think I must have been mad as feel decidedly unpregnant!!!

It wasn't at all a surprise to get the BFN but feeling a bit disheartened by it, as we DTD loads around the right time (I mean, literally every other day between cycle day #7 & #20 or so, because we felt like it, rather than cos we HAD to iykwim) and it was so much easier with my DD - I didn't even know my cycle length or when the 'right time' was & think we DTD far fewer times than now. I can't understand how it hasn't worked, yet I've read all the stats about it so know how unlikely it is in reality!!! I will just have to wait for AF now I guess & hope next month is successful.

DH has really caught the crazy bug. Last night he said he was watching me carefully for tiny signs of change (which came out really creepy and stalkerish Confused ) and seemed quite happy that last night I didn't want sex (it's been a few days and I normally have a very high sex drive, I almost always want sex) and was feeling really hot (I'm always cold).

I'm only Ov+5 but he's got me half convinced it's happening despite the fact I'm really busy at the moment and if I wasn't a tiny bit run down then it'd be amazing. I really thought that I'd be the one obsessing over signs!

ahhhhhpushit · 10/01/2012 10:50

Yep I am getting EXACTLY that cake :) fingers crossed for you.

Has anyone who has had a BFP had cramps anyway? or shooting pains?
I am 3 days late now, and although i can't test until the weekend, all the signs are looking good except i keep getting small quick shooting pains, or dull ache like period pains, but theres nothing else going on!

Anyone else had this and still got a BFP?

celebmum · 10/01/2012 10:19

Hi all!

congratulations ahhhhh! Smile and hope all goes well at the gp missus! Smile

well AF is due here on 14th, felt decidedly pregnant last week (see earlier post for symptom spotting! tingly nips n everything!) Did a CB early test yesterday eve and got BFN Sad..... so now i feel decidedly UN-pregnant and am miserable today.. hmpf!

someone cheer me u with some BFP news please!

DelphineDonkeygoesDoolally · 10/01/2012 10:17

Wow! Madmonkey, it's looking good - regular updates please!

Patience PrimalChic, patience!!!

Peppatwig looks like AF are going to be due around the same time, mine maybe a tad later.

I'm going mad and it's probably all in my head but I feel bloated and pressured in my lower stomach and abdomen. Nothing apart from that but still. Having said that it could just be ovulation as I got the stretchy CM yesterday and got a sharp pain on my right during the night. Also we've only managed SWI once since my last period (I know, I know...) and that was on sat so surely even if by some miracle it worked, I can't have signs already, surely????

I said I wouldn't obsess this time round. Fat chance!

MadMonkeys · 10/01/2012 09:37

PrimalChic, it's so hard not to test isn't it! Probably a good thing I haven't got any more tests as I'd probably have used them all by now! Thing is I'm really not sure whether there was a line there or not this morning. If there was, it was very feint. All the best for your next test - I bet you don't wait til the weekend!! Grin

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 09:35

A very definite BFN for me this morning. Not that I expected any different by now, but heh... I guess it could still be a bit early but def not going to test until at least this time next week if AF hasn't arrived by then. Haven't got any tests anyway, so will have to consider my purchasing options for next month!!

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 09:24

Did a FR test this morning and got a BFN. I don't know why I do it! AF isn't due until the weekend. Not going to test unless she's late not and going to have another strong coffee to steel the nerves. Hmph.

MadM that's looking promising, even if it's a very feint line, that means the hormone is there and the hormone is only there if you're up the duff!! :o

PeppaTwig · 10/01/2012 07:58

Is too late to join in?
TTC #2. 1st cycle. AF due 23rd Jan.
Thinking BFP thoughts for all those testing this week!

MadMonkeys · 10/01/2012 07:16

Err, I think I might have just got a BFP. It was either incredibly feint, or in my imagination. I just couldn't tell. But I'm out of tests now so I'll have to wait for the postman and hope he's got some tests for me to use tomorrow. This is a bit nail-biting!

Panzee · 10/01/2012 07:13

I made the mistake of clothes shopping on Saturday when I was convinced I was pregnant. Now I'm just as convinced that I'm not, they all look really nasty! Time to take them back! :o

displacedbrit · 10/01/2012 04:20

Hello all, am excited to be making my first post as I've been wanting to TTC for the past 18 months, hoping that joining MN will turn things around! DH is 4 yrs younger (32) and stalling so the waiting has not been on my part, but I'm determined that 2012 is the year :)

Am looking especially for tips for older newbies - I live in the US and everything I've read so far about my age group (36) in US articles is very pessimistic so trying not to get too stressed.

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 00:05

ahhhhhpushit you are clearly the expert on the tests!! As it happens, I have a superdrug own brand one left from a twin pack purchased back in Feb (after a near miss as it were, but which set off broodiness!!) so will have a go if they're good. Any other suggestions for the less experienced TTC-er??!!! It was SOOOOO much easier last time!! :)
