So I'll start:

Primal I tested on 9DPO and 11DPO, BFNs! So am trying to hold out until 14DPO. Period should theoretically be due 13-14DPO based on last cycle.

PrimalChic · 12/01/2012 16:48

Sorry, bad spelling oikopolis

PrimalChic · 12/01/2012 16:47

MadMonkey that's great, congratulations!!

And oikipolis and curious when are you testing? Sounds like you're both in with a good chance!

Have planned a trip to Brighton on Saturday so if I get a BFN in the morning, I'll be up to my ears in cocktails before the night is out!

MadMonkeys · 12/01/2012 16:18

Thanks everyone! Hope there's plenty more BFP's on this thread. i still can't quite believe I've had one...!

oikopolis · 12/01/2012 16:08

Congrats MadMonkey!!!!

Spotty and exhausted today, fell asleep at 8pm last night and slept through till 6:30am! 12DPO. Temp still high. Hmmm....

curiousgeorgie · 12/01/2012 15:52

Is it too late to join?

I'm TTC #2 and should be testing next thursday... (but might have bought tests on the way home today even though they will quite clearly be BFN's!)

Little bit unsure about when I ovulate etc, but have huge sore boobs and very crampy and light headed for the past two days, thats far too early though right??

Prunella79 · 12/01/2012 15:24

what's that you say - more good news busylady, hurrah Smile

Prunella79 · 12/01/2012 15:21

love this shuttle, regular doses of good news; thanks and congrats MadMonkey
who's next??

busylady99 · 12/01/2012 15:18

Congratulations MadMonkey - that's fantastic news.

Welcome Chairofthebored - your stats match mine. I'm also on cycle 1 TTC#1 and due on 25 Jan.

I've had some exciting news (well for me anyway); I have a spinal condition and have asked to be referred back to ortho to get advice on how pg will affect my spine and to talk about birth options etc. I'll need to be monitored throughout once we get our BFP. I thought it would take months to get an appointment but it's already come through. It's just one part of this whole thing but it feels like we're moving in the right direction.

howiwonder · 12/01/2012 14:28

Congratulations MadMonkey!! xx

cakeladyc · 12/01/2012 14:18

Congrats MadMonkey !!

no update from me, AF still hasnt arrived, all shooting pains/cramps/dull aches have gone but boobs still hurt and now my hair is really greasy, normally can go a day or so without washing it, and seem to be getting more CM too, so i dont know if thats normal for early pregnancy or if AF is getting a move on!

Chunkychicken · 12/01/2012 13:26

Congrats MadMonkey that's great news!! Another lucky lady, this is a very lucky shuttle.

Fingers crossed my moodiness & nausea is pregnancy & not PMT/the norovirus still hanging around. Feel a trip to Sainsburys coming on myself...Wink

Winnie81 · 12/01/2012 13:17

Congrats madmonkey!!!

DelphineDonkeygoesDoolally · 12/01/2012 12:07

Wow! Congrats MadMonkey! Very pleased for you! x

MadMonkeys · 12/01/2012 11:49

BFP! I tried some of the Ebay tests yesterday, and I wouldn't bother with them again - the lines were so incredibly feint for me, I honestly couldn't tell one way or the other. So I got some of Sainsbury's tests this morning and tested as soon as I got home. Even though it wasn't the first wee of the day there was definitely a line. Still feint, but clearly there. Arrgghhh, looks like I am pregnant!! I'm happy but scared too - didn't enjoy the birth much last time, but I'll hopefully know what I'm doing this time (all being well), and that's a long way off. Plenty to worry about in the meanwhile!

Freddie - it's so annoying isn't it when you think there's something going on but the tests come up negative. I've been having very mild cramping and a heavy sort of feeling for a few days and it's only today that the test has been positive, so it could just be that there isn't quite enough HCG to show up on your test yet.

PrimalChic · 12/01/2012 11:02

Another BFN, little sign of AF but my back hurts like hell andi sobbed all the way through One Born Every Minute last night!

freddie this is sounding really promising! Any other symptoms? You could try a really sensitive test like FR maybe?

Welcome chair!

ChairOfTheBored · 12/01/2012 07:07

hesitantly steps on Board

Hi

We're TTC number one. First cycle, AF due 25 Jan. Not sure we've been at it nearly enough, and still getting the hang of having to think about timings rather than be 'spontaneous', but we'll keep trying till we get it right! Grin

FreddieMercurysBolero · 12/01/2012 00:12

So, that period or whatever it was decided to only last three days...Mine are generally 7-9 days. Feeling crampy and sick ever since, so thinking it could have been an implantation bleed. Tested this morning and BFN. Ho hum...

I shall wait another week and see.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 11/01/2012 22:32

Hi! Can I jump aboard this bus?

I am trying for number 2, my stats are (I think) TTC2 cycle 1 AF due 25 Jan. I'm typing on my phone, so would really appreciate it if someone could add me to the list. Am not too hopeful as I'm not sure we've been SWI enough, but fingers crossed.

howiwonder · 11/01/2012 19:36

PrimalChic I ave lost 4lbs too and put it down to the lack of booze! but I suppose theres also just the general return to normality after xmas too.

Think I will test in the morning, still a bit early at approx 11dpo. Anyway, I have decided that I'm most likely not pregnant anyway, there really wasn't as much SWI as there should have been. Am trying to tell myself this so i can forget being up the duff this month and act like a normal person again - yeah thats gonna work....

Chunkychicken · 11/01/2012 19:21

LOL PrimalChic

And thanks oiko I knew that really, must be the starvation affecting my brain!! I think we're on the shame 'schedule' so relying on you to tell me when the best time to test would be - if u get AF/BFP then I can POAS with certainty of an accurate result...Wink

No tests being purchased until the weekend in this house for absolute 100% maybe certain Grin

PrimalChic · 11/01/2012 19:02

chunkychicken gave up bread for my wedding for a few weeks and dropped a dress size too! Hmm at least when the early bump and bloating starts, people will hopefully think we've just put the weight back on!

oikipolis if I had any early tests I'd be right there with you. Waiting for DH to go out before I try the boots cheapie. I've come to feel that my day isn't complete until I've POAS! :)

oikopolis · 11/01/2012 18:33

2kg is about 4lbs Chunky! You poor thing, that's a lot. I had a bug over Xmas (I know, fab isn't it) and had the same thing, urgh.

Broke down and tested again (11DPO)... bfn... obviously! MUST STOP.

Chunkychicken · 11/01/2012 17:59

In all seriousness PrimalChic in the month or 2 before my wedding, I cut out the 'extras' like beer, crisps, choc, but didn't diet at all & lost a few pound (prob about half a stone in total, & I'm about a size 10-12, so not got a huge amount to lose, if you see what I mean) so I would say the "pre-conception" diet is probably a good way to slim.
