Congrats to those who got BFPs this weekend. :) Great news! I'm still waiting for AF to arrive but it's only a few weeks since I stopped taking the pill so it's not surprising.

I was hoping to follow the lead of Ahhpushit (missing from the BFP list btw) with a birthday BFP but it wasn't to be, still no sign of AF though so i'm not out just yet. just as well really that it wasn't a BFP as i spent all weekend drinking

Hi Cejay hope the shuttle is lucky for you! So far, think its slightly better than 50-50 for BFPs (of those that can know by now...) so better than the 'official' stats for getting pregnant.

My DD is coming up to 21 months and I wanted to start TTC a couple of months back but had to wait for a few things to be resolved, iykwim. I guess its fairly common, I suppose they're becoming more independent & less baby-like at that age.

Huge congratulations to all the BFPs! Delighted for you all - this is an impressively lucky shuttle!

AF got me this morning though, and is making her presence felt with very painful cramps. :( Can't really complain or say I'm surprised, as definitely not enough SWI-ing at the right time and it was only our first month trying, so onwards to next month!

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting and symptom-spotting :)

I have namechanges, was HKK due 15/1... no AF yet but no encouraging signs, and millions of a few BFNs...

chunkychicken I hadn't tested, but just have a guess what BFP!!! Just had huge freak out at DH but calmed down now and very happy!

Oikopolis get yourself to the GP, they'll prob accept the home test as 'proof' so no need for an initial blood test unless you have a health condition. They'll give you a due date &, unless its v v diff in diff health authorities, they'll refer you to the midwife for the 8 week booking in check.

S/he will give u all the info about blood tests, appointments with midwife & scans etc. Oh and remind you to take folio acid & avoid alcohol, soft cheese etc etc.

The real fun is deciding who to tell and when :)
