I'm feeling a bit up & down about TTC this month. Nit the It's my first cycle off the pill after 13 years do I don't know when I am likely to ovulate (if at all). I've been temping but only started on CD12 do I'm not sure how useful it will be (might help next month though so I'll keep it up).

9dpo and the tiniest spot of blood on the toilet paper this morning. If we all say 'I do believe in fairies' then maybe it will be implantation.

Yes delphine, like that idea! Me and dh are quite active anyway so he has been wanting swi virtually every day!!

Ok, I really want another baby now. I watched OBEM on 4oD and blubbered the whole time. That only may have got me ovulated a second time...

I wasn't sure of starting to TTC in Jan, in case it worked the first time for work reason and so we only SWI once during my fertile window. I'm regretting it now and told DH when he got back who then asked asked me "so when are we SWI next... that will produce a baby?". This is so unlike him! I just thought he wanted to S but no he wants it to be WI so that a baby is produced! When I told him that it's unlikely I'd have got pregnant this time round and that next time is roughly in 3 to 4 weeks he seemed shocked. Next time it's SWI-athon from beginning to end of fertile window to catch the little buggers!.

So symptons....think i might of had every sympton going even though its way to early for any real symptons to the point of declaring myself mad !! Saw my friends 3 week old baby yesterday and had a good chat which actually calmed me down...am now just trying to keep busy and not over think every little twinge.

I want to wait until i know AF is really late unless she visits before test day so i dont get a BFN but dont think i have the willpower! I havent done the POAS thing yet so not 100% sure got my dates right but am usually a 28-31 day cycle. Has anyone else managed to wait???

Lets hope there are some more BFP's soon to keep the lucky shuttle going!

Fingers crossed for you Tuesday - I'm sure a few of the BFPs on this thread took a while to show up on tests too.

I have not abandoned thread (I am HereKittyKitty from the list) and am now 15 DPO with no sign of AF and squillions of a few BFNs. I have EVERYTHING crossed that I have had false negatives and have been fervently reading threads about late BFPs to torture myself. Will update one way or the other!

Feeling very unpregnant, I always get very hungry a week before AF and I am now so could be relegated very shortly too.

CD12 here and think I ovulated at the weekend although not sure if that seems a little early. We should be moving house soon and once we have settled in if I have not got a BFP by then I think I will invest in some Opk's.

Fairly sure cake got her BFP but PrimalChic Panzee & celebmum both got AF at around the same time as me... I'm sure they'll keep us informed!!

Sorry to hear about your MIL Puggymum, it's really hard. Both my mum and MIL were diagnosed with cancer when I was first pregnant. I lost my mum a few months ago and my MIL isn't in a good way. You're going to have to preserve yourself once your pregnant and you're going to have to be strong for your DH. What you need to concentrate on is the future of your family: what's ahead of you is going to be amazing, you're going to make a little one with the man who chose.

On another note, I'm going to try to amend the list and please feel free to change it and move yourself if I got it wrong.

So sorry to hear about your MIL PuggyMum

I have been lurking for a week and a bit but I am joining this bus/shuttle quite late as AF was actually due yesterday or today, I hope you don't mind! DH and I started TTC in 2010 and tried for months with no luck, took a long break and just decided to start trying again on the spur of the moment around New Year's! I'm not going to add myself to the existing list since I'm so late joining but the waiting is killing me and I need somewhere to vent!

I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out if it worked this month- one minute I'm positive I'm pg, the next feeling like there's absolutely no way. I have no idea whether anything I'm feeling physically is a symptom or just nerves (I suffer from an anxiety disorder so that doesn't help!) but the only concrete thing I have to go on so far was that I was supposed to get my period at some point in the last 24-48 hours and didn't. But that could again, mean nothing and I could start bleeding/cramping at any time. :( Testing tomorrow morning, estimate I'll be about 13 DPO.

I hate TTC. What a mindfuck.

Sorry about your sad news Puggymum. We had a bereavement in the family over Xmas and it does put it all into perspective, I agree. You have to focus on what really matters and not worry about the little things so much. Really hope your DH's mum responds well to treatment - and that you get luck with the SWI-ing of course!

DH got the call on friday to say his mum has lung cancer so we've taken the news quite badly. We found out today they are going to treat it so we are hopeful but of course we've had all weekend to worry and think the worst... DH was very upset and we had tears as the reason we delayed ttc was because he wasn't ready / scared of having kids and now he feels all selfish and we've wasted quality family time :(

The flowers appeared in the window yesterday (fertile time!) so I had to say that despite what news we got today could we still keep trying this week as we don't want any more delays....

For now we can breathe a sigh of relief but a reminder of what it's all about really x
