Hi all, yes the Friday test was negative so I'm back on the Clomid. My "assessment" appointment came through, for 10 July!!! Great. Not! So if this cycle doesn't work I'll have an almost 2 month wait before I know what happens next.

Trying very hard to keep thinking positive thoughts. Maybe I'll do what my best friend did and find out I'm pregnant the day before my appointment!

Hi cazbg - second cycle of clomid, good that they went up to 100mg straight away, I thought they made you do 3 at 50mg first. I'll hopefully be starting clomid in June, so wil let you know about the hunger then - not sure I'll be able to distinguish it from my normal greedy insatiable appetite!
Hey cave - was your test negative - have you started clomid, did AF come?
I've got a horrible cold and do not feel like sex, but if I'm ever going to spontaneously ovulate, it would probably be around about now... stupid body!

Been a long time since I have written on here but been having a good read.
I am now on my second cycle of Clomid now at 100mg as 50mg didnt make me ovulate (which I guessed as no temperature shift) but now on the higher dose so fingers crossed. Had the most ridiculous hunger with this round - has anyone else had that?
So fingers crossed. Just seem to be seeing baby stuff everywhere at the mo which isn't helping.

Hello all, sorry for the absence. I spoke to the Clinic on Monday and they told me that there is no way I ov'd recently as the blood test is infallible. They told me that I should have had AF by now so I should start taking the Clomid again. Apparently you can take it without AF - who knew!

I've been a bit naughty and haven't started taking it yet. DH is due to go abroad for a few days in mid-May so I'm trying to hold off until the end of this week, which means DH will be back in time for a usual ovulation (around day 14/15). I've also got to take another PG test before starting the tablets again, so I'll do that on Friday.

Had my drs appt yesterday and he said he is going to refer me so just have to wait now to hear from the hospital!! Least I feel like I am getting somewhere!

Hello everyone. Have been a bit quiet of late as crazy times at work but after a few months of getting ready and waiting for AF to return were finally in a position to start trying! :) Excited but a little scared too as guess we just don't know if its going to be a short or long journey.

Have been catching up on the thread. My fingers and toes are crossed for anyone waiting this month.

Still got fingers crossed, Cave - a BFN is not AF, although not getting your hopes up is probably wise.

I'm off the antihistamines this week, prior to my allergy clinic appt on Thursday - I am now terrified of getting my heart rate up and wary of everything I eat...

Good luck with your appt on weds mellow, hope you get something positive out of it! Or even better get a BFP on weds morning! That would be lovely.

Cavemum hopefully your still in with a chance, but like Mellow says best to think your out so as not to get your hopes up :(

I'm off to the drs tonight, he said he would refer us if no joy in with mths of clomid so I'm hoping he still says that! I'm in desperate need of some good news now :( and a referral would be a positive for me right now

Incidentally I'm completely do-lally - I have a gynae appointment on Wed and despite being CD 14 I am contemplating POAS on Wed am, just in case I'm pregnant and my last AF wasn't a real one . So, really I shouldn't be giving anyone advice...

This is on Clomid? I'm afraid I don't know enough about blood tests- did you have follicle tracking scans? Can you ring up and cry down the phone to see if they'll do one (that would tell you if you've just ov'd I think?)
11 days po is still a little early to test - but I don't want you to be too hopeful. Personally I'd assume you're out, then anything else is a bonus.
If only turning off the thinking was possible.

Who knows mellow! We don't know for sure when I ovulated so who knows when AF is due. If the blood test was right (which if I'm honest I'm starting to doubt) I'm anything between 11 and 18dpo today.

I'm beginning to think I've ov'd in the last few days now, as my chart is showing a recent temperature shift, but that means the bloodiest I had on Day 30 was wrong, which I'm not sure is possible

If there is no AF by next weekend I will test again then phone the clinic for advice.

Sorry to hear that cave - any chance it is worth testing again in a few days? Remind me how late you are?
I think it is all manageable until we get our hopes up, isn't it.

Was on here a while ago! Got my scan for possible pcos tomorrow! More worried about holding in these two pints of water than anything else! Currently cd34 ovd cd28/29 and used conceive plus and instead cup! Hoping we've got it this time bit no idea when af is due as last cycle was 42 before that it was 33 :/
