littlemisslemon · 09/01/2012 19:54

Oh nearly im so sorry. that's rubbish. :( the job situation in general is so difficult at the mo.

NearlyDunne · 09/01/2012 19:29

Well today was a shit day. i lost my job.
still no AF so bought a test but how can i get excited about ttc now i have no job no way of saving for it. oh im so cross

CaveMum · 09/01/2012 09:24

Well AF has arrived this morning, 10 minutes after I get into work Angry

I cried myself out last night so no tears today [determined]. DH was very good last night and said we'll just try harder this cycle. He's going to talk to his boss about being able to leave work early/come in late a few times so that he can come home mid-week as needed.

Happy new week everyone.

littlemisslemon · 08/01/2012 22:27

:( cave. Its horrid to get your hopes up about something and than for it not to happen... and feeling sad/upset is a totally normal part of that. I hope you feel better soon.

And i hope you enjoyed Sherlock. I love it :)

raspberrytipple · 08/01/2012 22:04

Sorry to hear that cave it's just shit and you are more than entitled to your little cry. xx

OP posts:
NearlyDunne · 08/01/2012 20:45

Oh cavemum im sorry for you, it just means more sex im afraid.
and another month talking to us :)
Its ok to have a little cry im sure ill be a blubbering wreck if i dont get preganant in a few months

CaveMum · 08/01/2012 20:33

Evening all, just checking in.

I'm pretty certain AF is on her way - I'm cramping and when I went to the loo earlier there was a small streak of pink Sad.

I'm sorry to say I had actually got my hopes up this cycle and have had a little cry.

Oh well. off to watch Sherlock now.

NearlyDunne · 08/01/2012 20:16

No i haven't done a test im assuming its just my cycle getting back to normal. but if it doesnt come this week i surely will.

littlemisslemon · 08/01/2012 19:51

nearly; have you done a test seeing as you're late? Or trying to hold off?! :)

Fairygodmother1 · 08/01/2012 19:07

Know I'm not pg but still symptom spotting. AF due in 9 days!

NearlyDunne · 08/01/2012 18:34

Well Af was due yesterday but it being the first month off my pill I'm sure my cycle is just a bit messed up. iv been moody but that's the only symptom of it i have and usually i get really bad pains for a few days before when I'm not on the pill. (sorry tmi)
I wish it would hurry up and come so we can get busy again :)
How are you doing today?

Beeblebear · 08/01/2012 11:20

Well 4 more days to go until predicted ERTD . Don't feel anything different. If there is little bean in there it would sure have to be super sticky to hold on with all the nonsense I have been up to this last week. Off in a boat on rough waters, scuba diving, theme park rollercoasters, a glass of wine or two ... Hmm think that I should start crossing my fingers for next month instead!

Fairygodmother1 · 07/01/2012 14:00

Sorry been AWOL - started a new job.

I watched OBEM this morning as I plussed it! Totally agree that bloke was a twat - I was waiting for his dad to smack him one! The squaddie I thought was lovely. I had a cry when the babies were born! 10lb 10 - OUCH!!!!

day 23 for me & boobs starting to hurt. Think I only have 2 cyces of clomid left & a huge job of getting my weight down!

raspberrytipple · 07/01/2012 10:34

I like to remind DH that when I'm on my period I could actually murder him and get away with it under diminished responsibility so often threaten to kill him Grin

Little my periods went back to normal relatively quickly but I did get a lot of pg symptoms for the first few weeks when I came off and nearly drove myself crazy. my periods are also now more unstable. I used to have 35 day cycles and they were quite predictable but now they are usually between 29-35 days.

OP posts:
littlemisslemon · 07/01/2012 10:29

Im on approx day 22 of first cycle off the pill. before taking it my cycles were about 30 days but i know it can take a while for first period to come/for cycles to settle down in general. i hope af isn't too late though as im going to find it hard not to get my hopes up and will probably end up spending a small fortune on pg tests!! Must resist!! How have everyone else's experience of coming off the pill been?

NearlyDunne · 06/01/2012 21:25

Dp knows what im like and just says he knows i cant help it.
Hope every one had a good day.

Ratata · 06/01/2012 19:26

Well hello AF. You finally arrive. I think. It's very light and I haven't had my usual sore boobies that I always get beforehand but I think it's AF. Typical when we set tonight aside especially for a bit of fun. Oh well. I'm getting wasted tomorrow anyway lol. Good for the health :p

raspberrytipple · 06/01/2012 19:18

Omg Ratata check out mybirthTV, it's online so just google for it, it's fab for the totally addicted as there are video diaries and they are all lovely chilled out(ish) home births!
On the symptom front I mentioned a few on my other thread but I do get bloating / bit of trouble pooing (sorry-tmi) and I get stabby pains like stitch down below but I've never really thought much of it. I'm going to make a list and take it to the next appointment if the bloods are still high. Until then im refusing to google anymore.!!

Hey lanky! Thanks for your message, hope you are well and I love when you old timers pop in, gives me hope for my future!!

nearly I'm the same when AF is on its way. DH goes 'are you being a grumpy moo' and I shout 'no I'm not you're just fucking annoying' then realise I maybe am and smile sweetly and apologise. He does always just tell me to 'man up' over cramps though which drives me nuts :)

Oh and welcome mecredi :)

Hope you are feeling a wee but better josie it's not nice feeling so low and I know how it feels to get to that point where you actually moan yourself out!!

Right, off to drink red wine, this first week back has been a killer!

to everyone x

Ratata · 06/01/2012 17:01

marshmallow I came off the pill almost 6 weeks ago and I haven't had AF yet, you may be lucky and get yours on time but from what I read it can take a few cycles before you start being regular again. Also about 2 or 3 weeks after I stopped (TMI WARNING!) I had a lot of clear mucus stuff come out me one day. Googled and it was normal as many other people have it when coming off pill. I have never had that much before. It may or may not happen to you. Exciting being off it now isn't it :)

josie sorry to hear you aren't having a good time of it. I agree with taking a little trip back in time and remembering why you started going out in the first place. Let the sex come naturally (if you AF doesn't come) and do it because you want it. All relationships have ups and downs and dry spells. Enjoy your weekend x

raspberry I know all too well what you are talking about, well kind of. 2 weeks before my wedding I was struck with bowel and bladder problems and in a lot of pain. Doctor said IBS. Did no tests. I tried to put worries behind me but then I googled and had all symptoms of ovarian cancer. I had to try and put it all out of my mind to enjoy the wedding and 10 day honeymoon. And I did. Had to. It was hard but easier because I was always on the move. Got back and kept going back to doc as I also had back pain. Given pain killers. Didn't work. Back to doc, given v strong pain killers. Didn't work. Phoned one evening and basically said that I was being fobbed off with tablets that weren't helping and why wasn't I getting a scan or tests. Next doc appointment I get sent to hospital and get ultrasound, X-ray and gyaene exam. Nothing comes up. Now going back to doc to arrange colonoscopy and upper GI exam. Keep pressing them if you think it's taking too long! They act on people who don't leave them alone and get a bit hysterical. Big hugs to you!!!! It's horrible to be worrying about health problems. Btw the fact that your number went back down says to me that it's more likely to be something less serious x

Does anyone watch practically every pregnancy programme on tv btw? I watch OBEM, 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom and anything else I can find lol.

LankyLegs · 06/01/2012 16:14

Knock knock....

Raspberry just read your thread and replied on it. Hope everything is ok.

Sorry most of you probably don't know me (old frolicker who dropped off as it was taking a long time to TTC) but I just wanted to come and say hi and also say to Josie please don't lose heart. I am sorry to hear you are having such a shite time at the moment. Also wanted to add that it tooks us 22 months of TTC to get even a snoot of a bfp and we had undergone all the tests etc and were on the wait list for IVF. I know 22 months is not that long as well and I know there are tonnes of people out there that it takes a longer for. I guess I just wanted to say it takes different lengths of time for everyone and although it is tough seeing people around you get pregnant (really bloody tough) you just never know when your time will be. I will be lurking to see how you get on and keeping everything crossed for you. Chin up chica xxx

JosieSmith1 · 06/01/2012 15:28

A colleague/friend just found out she's 20 weeks pg. I'm gutted but I know they've been trying longer than us but haven't been for any tests. And I don't see her very often so I can pretend it's not happening.

NearlyDunne I have been like a bear all week. I was in the car with DH yesterday morning and had to actually tell myself to shut up and stop moaning cos I was sick of the sound of my own voice! Blush

NearlyDunne · 06/01/2012 11:33

well im like a bear today so i think af is on its way. poor old dp is getting told off for being nice.
tests on ebay are dirt cheap and apparently are good. i ordered some :)
i want to test but know it will be negative. iv turned into a mental ttc-er.
