Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Evening ladies and how are we today on this wet and miserable day!

Got to tell you that I had someone famous in today-I was shaking with shock but managed to keep calm until he had gone. Obviously I can't say who him and his mate were but told them I would look forward to seeing their show on the TV. My printer ran out of paper so had to go in the back office to get some so said who was in-next thing I saw one of the girls rearranging leaflets near my desk-how obvious is that?

Back down to earth girl!

KreamKrackers-welcome to the thread hun-hope you get a BFP. I am an Ebay obsessive too for PG testing sticks. ((xx))

G4-hope the jobs situation sorts itself out. ((xx))

Coathanger-you will make an excellent midwife-stick with it. Good on you for sticking to your diet/healthy eating ((xx))

jane-how are you feeling now, sorry to hear your day has not been too good. Hope DS is better soon. My DD is 2 1/2 and is dreadful at nursery when she is ill so last time I kept her at home.((xx))

HellKat-still about your news. ((xx))

Hello and hugs to everyone else. Got to get tea on. Someone left a punnet of strawberries at work so I stuffed them down along with lots of fruit gums so quite full actually. Have bought a pair of maternity jeans from Blooming Marvellous so I can wear my new Cat Boots but although they are size short they are still about 4 inches too long.

Byee for now

Take care

xxx

going4potty · 10/01/2006 16:20

Hi again, ch i am a radiographer, but at the mo specialise in breast screening in a lovely dept, with great hrs, environment, education opps etc. Hence not really keen to move, if it comes to that. Jane i do hope your ok, im sure ds will be ok, mine gets grumpy when hes ill and i just go with it. Also just wanted to say, that this is a great thread and will offer you loads of comfort and support, i have found it to be and im sure it will b4 u if you need us. Well goto get back to pts again, see ya

HellKat · 10/01/2006 16:14

Jane- Yep it was tough but one thing that gets me through (apart from here) is thinking however bad things get, there's always someone far worse off. You're allowed to have a good cry hun, it's fantastic you're able to let go. I hope they get you an appointment soon, the waiting must be agony.
Thoughts & hugs with you xxxx
P.s Hope little ds feels better soon.

jane313 · 10/01/2006 16:08

re cheap ov kits. I got some from ebay, can't remember which site and they were not very reliable and quite confusing to read. I compared them one day with a clearblue digital one and you would not have know it was a +ve. That said I got the hormone surge and clearblue +ve one month that I was also having blood tests. These said I wasn't ovulating. You can get the surge in the middle of the months but that doesn't reliably confirm ovulation.

Thanks for all your messages, it will take me a while to learn all your names. Hellkat, 4 m/c thats really though. A couple of friends went throught that and it was heartbreaking just to watch let alone experience.

Went to the drs and she has made an appointment at the Epu for a scan as so far I have only had old brown blood (and pain). But its become more red this pm so am not holding out any hope. Its frustrating to have this scan as I know when I go back to the consultant I'll have to pay for another private one. I managed to cry all over a mother waiting for my son at his playgroup. She was very sweet though. Then to stress me out further the playgroup leader said she had kept my ds in all of their outside play time as he was so naughty this am. Felt very sorry for him as he is just getting over a chest infection and is very bad tempered because of it. Don't really know how it handle it if it happens again as hes only 2 1/2!

Coathanger · 10/01/2006 14:44

Goodluck with the house Carly {grin} Remember, the house for you is out there!

carly82 · 10/01/2006 12:31

CH wish i could share your willpower
Am going to see another house today so if this is the one we might get a moving in date (fingers crossed!!!) will be renting so it should be pretty much immediate if it is an empty property am packing up my things bit by bit so it womt be much of a shock when we do come to moving!

Coathanger · 10/01/2006 11:21

KK - First Response is advertised to give a result 4 days before AF is due, but Clearblue claims the same. But it depends on when you OVed and it does state on the packaging that the earlier you test the less reliable the result. I vow from this day on never to test before my Af due day. (pmsl yeah right! like thats ever gonna happen!!)

kreamkrackers · 10/01/2006 11:15

first response is the one on the adverts (couldn't remember the name). i'll go looking for one later today as i can't switch off now to hoping i'm pg. keep getting twinges in my stomach which i don't usually get until af arrives (but again it might all be in my head!).

thankyou everyone, you're all so welcoming. i think i'd be tempted to test everyday about a week before af is due until it arrives if i could so probably best to stick to getting them from the shops, only 2 tests in them packs! can't stop thinking i could be, but i don't want to build my hopes up. what's the name of the test that lets you test before af is due?

Coathanger · 10/01/2006 10:42

Welcome Kreamkrackers!! I'm sorry to hear about your MC in the summer Mine was in AUgust so not long after. How are you dealing with it? I still have terrible days, but I try so hard to get on with it all. I usually spend my days on here trying to keep my mind off thigs! And having a laugh too!! lol!! I only buy my PG tests in the shops and I tend to go for Clearblue or Predictor. I have always had good results with them. I don't buy from the internet in bulk because I would be testing every day other wise I really hope you get the result you want this month, but if not, we re here to keep you smilig til you do (and then keep you smiling through PG too )

Well just caught up and morning ladies..

Jane so sorry to hear what you are going through I can only echo what the other ladies have said, my dh has trouble speaking his emotions too and they do worry for us and what we go through so I am sure behind it all he is hurting too. I know you just want him with you for suport I send you lots of love and best wishes to get you and your family through this your ds sounds so sensitve bless. x This thread is very supportive and good for getting things off your chest whenever you need it.

G4P hope DH job ok and his interview goes well. Glad to hear you are happily bd'g now

CH WELL DONE on your course apt you will sail through it I am sure.

HC hope mil doesn't interfere today with potty training, best of luck. My friends dd told her when she was ready to start the training so don't feel so under pressure. x

OV Kits - hmmm yes beginning to wonder if this is why I was geting so obsessed and stressed re. dates to best BD and got worse when we didn't bd. This was my first month using them and considering not bothering next month to relieve the stress.

Have a good day ladies. x
