Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Good morning all,

Jane, af can take time unfortunately it is a waiting game, they can come back roughly the same as mine did. sorry about your friend she probably didn't know how to react.

HK hope if you are mc that it ends soon (in the nicest way I meanso you can get back to normal)

G4P agree some people are fab and other odn't acknowledge it one of my sisters was one of them

CH hope ou feel better to day

PeePee your baby will come and it is perfectly ok to have those feelings about your friend I would say its natural

peepee - i think your reaction is totally normal. Of course you are happy for your friend, but it also reminds you that you want to be in that situation too. I can understand her being worried about your reaction. I remember about 6 months ago a friend telling me that she was pregnant, i was so so pleased for her, all the time she was telling me i felt happy, and smiley, then as soon as she'd gone i burst into tears, i was inconsolable. Its ok to be upset, it doesn't make you any less of a friend to her.

Carly - Hows things this morning??

Morning everyone!

HK - I had the same thoughts as Diddle. But if you are sure it is what it is then I'm sure you're right. You know your body. But just remember to take care of yourself - promise me you will xxxxxxx

Carly - I am so sorry I wasn't on last night. I am on MSN now if you want to chat. How are things this morning? xxxxxxx

Peepee - aww mate, don't feel down. I don't like seeing my mate sad It is so hard when those around you are finding out this news. It is toatlly normal to feel disappointed and jealous and possibly a bit resentful. But your friend sounds like a good person and isn't oblivious to your feelings. I'm sure in time you will get used to the idea and become a huge pillar of support to your friend. xxxxxxxxxx

Congrats to KK too!

Hope everyone else is well this morning!

HellKat · 13/01/2006 08:52

Rang the epu again. Again they were fab. They said it could take a while but should be quite quickly. If nothing's happened by next week then I'll need a scan.
Apparently, some poor, poor woman went 4 mths until she mc!!!!!!!!!! Thank god it won't take that long. basically the less pg you are the less amount of time it takes.

HellKat · 13/01/2006 08:33

Plus there's not much they can do until I test again next week. Too early even for a scan. It's just a waiting game.

HellKat · 13/01/2006 08:33

KK- Congrats!
Dids- It is hun, know it deep down. Don't feel pg at all anymore, in loads of pain. For some daft reason it's just taking forever. Look at the last one, carried it around for 4 weeks and still did'nt mc.

diddle · 13/01/2006 08:21

congrats kreamkrackers.

Hellkat - seriosuly worried that you may not be miscarrying and that you should get it checked out hun.

morning to everyone else.

kreamkrackers · 13/01/2006 07:32

good morning everyone. how is everyne today? did a test, shaking as i write this, heart thumping out of my chest, it's a bfp
dp is still in bed so i'm not sure whether to wake him up and tell him as he gets very moody when woke up but he will really enjoy the news. i don't think this smile will ever come off my face. hope everyone else has lots of good luck on this thread as well today.

HellKat · 13/01/2006 05:11

Carly- {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} Hope you're ok hun x

HellKat · 13/01/2006 05:11

Morning all.
Surprise surprise, pains slowed down . Bleeding is still same old "brown" muck (so sorry for tmi) and just feel like bad period pain. It kicks in, then eases. I did however, enjoy 4 Mini Buds and a huge slab of cheesecake.
Jane- Unfortunately hunny there's no guarentee how long it takes. My first 3 were instant but my last was a missed mc and I had this same colour bleeding on/off until the erpc. This time around, I thought it would be quite quick as I was having regular pain but does'nt look like it. Regarding insensitive friends, I'm still not talking to one of mine. I texted her to let her know that I'd mc'd last year and her response was "Oh sorry, anyway my life's still shite". That did it for me.
Getting back to normal periods can take anything from coming on when you'd normally be due or a good few months later, everyone's different.

Read an American website last night on just how long this is meant to take and apparently it can take up to 4 weeks in some women!!!!!!!!! Stuff that! If this is still buggering about, I'll ask them for an erpc when I have my endo surgery on the 25th (don't see why they can't do it at the same time).
Still wishing for a good full flow, so to speak. My boob (the one without the lump) has started shrinking again) and my bra fits so something's getting rid of my pg hormones, just wish the rest would follow through.

Ok, ok, enough of my mithering .
Hope eveyone's well and {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

peepee dont be down on yourself, when i was going through my last m/c i didnt tell my family at first, its just such a regular thing now for me i didnt want a huge deal made about it, i knew i had m/c'd before i started bleeding, the night the bleeding started i felt rough, my sister rings me up to tell me shes pregnant! i was gutted i just sat down where i was and cried and cried.

I was so ashamedof myself for not imedietly being happy for them, but i think when you have a history of m/c and really want a baby its natural to feel jelous of pregnant people especially family or friends.

Anyway my sister is due anytime now and im going to go to her whens shes had it and be happy for her as im sure you will be when your friend has her baby.

but dont feel bad its a natural reaction. you will get there, we all will

carly82 · 12/01/2006 22:58

is anyone around? have just had a huge row with dp and could do with a friendly face

going4potty · 12/01/2006 21:15

peepee, your not selfish just human. Hope your alright, it will happen when the time is right. Hope the family visit cheers you up. Well i have to work tomorrow, so im of to read then go to bed. The house still smells of fajitas, its making me hungry, but no i will resist, bye all

peepee · 12/01/2006 21:08

HK so sorry to hear whats happening to you. We'll get there eventually. )))))))HUGS(((((((((((

I haven't been on for a couple of days cos I have been cleaning the house. I have family coming over from abroad to visit for the next five days so probably won't be on much.

I am feeling a little lousy tonight. I have just had a call from a close freind/colleague who has told me that she is 10wks pg. I am really pleased for her as the last time she tried to get pg she had 4 m/c and then managed to go full term. She is aware of my situation and made me feel a little sad just because she was so worried about what my reaction would be. I am feeling really sorry for myself at the mo. My reaction has annoyed me. I am so pleased for her but just wish it was me too.

Sorry, if I sound selfish. I really don't mean to. I am just getting a little impatient.

going4potty · 12/01/2006 20:53

This af is really annoying. Well i think its an af anyway. This might be tmi but is it normal? Only having very few drops on pad, not much pain though.

Charlee · 12/01/2006 20:35

Hi! af arrived with vengence yesterday just after i posted.

im cool though i didnt expect anything first time round, the good thing is that my periods are like clockwork now again after last mc so i should beable to pick uo on any changes.
Well done coathanger brainy or what!

Hope everyone gets a bfp next time

Coathanger · 12/01/2006 19:23

Well, in an atempt to cheer me up I am hosting an Ann Summers party tonight! I think I deserve a treat!

Jane - I think some people just don't know how to deal with the situation so they say the bear minimum to show they know about it but avoid the issue because they just don't know what to say. really as it only take a hug and an "I'm sorry" but there you go, we're all different.

AAH jane know what u mean, most of my family and friends have been brill. But mil bil and fil were useless, didnt ring me only called and spoke to dh. Bil still hasnt said anything and have seen them about 5-6 since it happened. Dh thinks theyre crap about this and is embarrased. I know they care about me, but some people just cannot understand how bad a thing to happen this really is. Now dhs aunt and cousins girlfriend were fab. Try not to be too hard on her and maybe sit her down and explain how awful this has been 4 u?

jane313 · 12/01/2006 18:35

just got annoyed at a friends text. She had texted me earlier in the week about going out. So I dithered about telling her and did. She said she was sorry and then went on about arranging this trip to the cinema. I just feel the situation warrented 2 sentences at least. (I know it was a text). I'm not sure how many people I will tell now who haven't been through it themselves.

jane313 · 12/01/2006 18:05

100% CH, thats very impressive, well done.

Hellkat glad its all happening. I had no idea that mc take this long. God knows why I thought they were instant.

How long is till your period starts again usually? I need to start making consultant appointment. And how long do you usually bleed for? I am on day 4 and feel really tired.

Thanks for all your good wishes. Have no date for breast scan. Was told am on waiting list.

Don't tell me what happened in Lost as have not watched episode 2 yet.
