Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Aww, your poor sister KK, but I'm sure she will have some luck - perhaps you can rub some of your babydust on to her! And TWINS!!! well!

Well, in favour of me possibly being PG, I am even more clumsy than normal, I'm sleeping much better, and I am on the loo every 10 minutes! I examined my boobs last night in the bath (! Carly!) and found a few little bumps that could be tubercles, but I don't often look at my nips, so they might have been there forever!!

GOD!!! Roll on tomorrow so I can test!! Just want to know one way or t'other now!!

morning everyone. had to come on to tell everyone of my weird dream last night. i dreamt about twins! i don't think i'll be having twins though as they aren't in my side or dp side of the family. i was hoping it's a sign for my sister who has been ttc for almost a year now. they've had all their tests done at a fertility clinic and the only things they've found is that she doesn't always ov and she has a heart shapped womb. they're going to talk through the results more next month though. she already has a ds who's nearly 4 now and she developed a rare perminent diabeties from when she had him so she thinks it might also be to do with that. i felt really bad lying to her when she phoned me yesterday, i told her af hadn't arrived but i hadn't tested yet, dp wants to keep it a secret but i don't think i can. also she might be really upset if i keep it from her although i know it will also hurt her that she's been trying for so long without success.

ch - i'm getting pains in my stomach. sometimes they're really sharp shooting pains and other times they feel like i've just started af. also getting a lot more waves of sickness and fainting feelings coming and going. seem to be perminently tired, have a headache and more forgetful than usual! i never had morning sickness with dd or with the pg i mc with but as it's a good sign of pg i'd like to have just a little.

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 08:41

Morning all!

Diddle - I didn't think we were that chatty this weekend!

Well, I went to bed with pains of some description last night. Felt like period pains but still nothing this morning and I'm a day late, unless my cycle has gone to pot again. Not testing til tomorrow though!
Not sure how I feel about it all really - very mixed emotions. If I am I will be so pleased but disappointed I won't be able to go to college, but if I'm not I'll be devastated Ah well, we'll see what happens tomorrow.

diddle · 16/01/2006 07:49

Morning Ladies - fingers crossed for you CH .

you lot have given me loads to read since Friday, fancy chatting so much over the weekend.

Well im back on the satellite van 2morrow, but only as third person. Boss has been great about easing me in. Problem is, we had a new van while i was of, so loads of new quirks and working practices to get use to yipee!!!!

going4potty · 15/01/2006 21:32

kk, im sorry to hear that, its a shame they are missing out imho But just to make you feel better, although ds is potty trained, fairly easy to look after, eats ok, sleeps ok ( not at mo though) mil still hasnt offered to look after him so we can have a break, he is now three and hasnt suffered from eczema for a year. To make it worse she is young she lives on her own and does her other sons ironing washing, shopping for him etc, yet even when we asked for her help, she said she was busy. We have never asked again and quite frankly, she dissapoints me, with her lack of interest. Ds is her only grand child for forseeable future. I am not bitter but i know where you are coming from

kreamkrackers · 15/01/2006 21:16

g4p - i understand what you mean but it really is easy peg feeding. i was nervous at first but we're both used to it now. if my family wanted to learn i'd show them a few times myself and then watch them do it a few times and then they should have the confidence to do it. also i'd make sure i was always contactable so there wouldn't be a problem. there's no point in pushing people to do something they don't want to do though. if they wanted to learn i'd feel more comftable leaving dd with them but if i have to push them to learn how to do it i really wouldn't like leaving her with them.
hk - good luck with the blood tests at least this way you'll get a clearer picture of what is going on
carly - good luck with your pg test. i can't wait until tuesday now to get your results and ch's, it's so exciting. i'm going on a portage trip to the space centre (a huge light theropy centre in preston) with dd and dp but i will deffo make time to get on the computer to read your results, so please post as soon as you both have them on tuesday morning.

carly82 · 15/01/2006 20:55

evening ladies have to apologise for not being on here for a while. I realise that im normally all chatty but af is due and im really worried that im thinking too much into no af symptoms and secret;y daring that i could be pg. Don't want to seem like a fool when af does indeed arrive
anyway am testing on tuesday so will keep everyone posted
HK am thinking of you hun keep everything crossed for you xx
Hello to everyone CH, G4P, Kreamkrakers, Peepee, mygirl, diddle, firstnikki, charlee, and any else i have missed xx

going4potty · 15/01/2006 18:10

I was that keen i should have an af and now i wish shed go so we can start ttc, its so exciting, worrying , scarry, fun all at the same time. Feel a bit all over the place at mo, especially as dhs interview thing is on wednesday.

going4potty · 15/01/2006 16:45

Thanks for that kk, you are indeed very special, god knew were the right person to care for her, so thats why shes with you. I know it doesnt compare, but with regards to no help with babysitting etc. My ds had very severe eczema when he was a baby, use to bleed and weep all the time. Nobody not even my mum use to sit him until he was about 6 months old. But once they got use to wet wrapping etc they werent too bad, i think maybe theyre frightened theyll get it wrong???

Coathanger · 15/01/2006 16:33

Oooooo, HK don't speak too soon. Might have all been my over active imagination!! Bet I get an extra BIG FAT NEG on Tuesday. But we'll see. Not getting hopes up at all. All I will say though is still no AF!!

HK you deffo need to have your levels checked. Remember what you predicted! Well its still not impossible - I pray hard that all is okay one way or another big {{{{{hugs}}}}} to you hun

HellKat · 15/01/2006 16:20

Hiya all.
Have'nt been posting too much as I don't want to bring the thread down. All I say on "that" matter is I'm still in limbo, nothing's happening apart from pain so going to see if I can get my bloods done tomorrow.
On a happier note, CH looks like a positive to me hun so until Tuesday *Whispers" Congrats hunny!!!!
Hope you're all great and having a good weekend.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

kreamkrackers · 15/01/2006 15:52

yeah we are all special. life has obviously thrown some bad dealings in all our paths and that's why we're here together. but life also throws good things our way and hopefully everyone on here will get their good things thrown at them now and no more of the bad.

Coathanger · 15/01/2006 15:41

This is true but as I see it you must be a special person to be blessed with a precious child. I couldn't be trusted to do the job. All children have there demands, their needs, but some have more, and if you are able to meet them you are truely special yourself.
Don't do yourself down KK. You are special
We are all special

kreamkrackers · 15/01/2006 15:37

thank you but i really don't think i am special. i think i had a special child given to me and i'd do what any mum would do and look after them as best i can and if that means feeding her this way so be it. everyone in my position would do the same.

Coathanger · 15/01/2006 15:34

Well, I think you deserve a medal for doing all that you do. You are a very special person xxxx
