Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Morning all.
CH- So sorry hun, maybe a tad early though? try and leave it until the weekend if poss.
Carly- {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} Hunny I'm so sorry, you will be sorely missed love. Please don't be a stranger!!!! xxxxx
Jane- Sorry to hear about you to hun. At least now it's a new beginning and you can get some normality back, so to speak. Bless your little one! I was the same, first time every away from him at night was through me being in hospital.

Had a mega bleed yesterday afternoon and then eased. Still loads of pain (aswell as cramping it feels like I'm severely bruised inside). Going to try and hang on until tomorrow and make them see that something's definitely wrong. Don't worry, will them hell if need be.
Have a good one all, spending the day being a lazy cow.
xxxxxxx

KK that must be so worrying.
CH and HK hope you get some good news soon.

Everything got a bit more gruesome at the weekend. I got some blood tests back on Friday and because the HCG levels were still high and rising so the drs were worried I may have had an ectopic pregnancy. I ended up in hopsital overnight and had to have an ERPC(?)and luckily it wasn't ectopic cos my levels had fallen. It was pretty distressing and my ds was very upset. It was not how I planned to spend my first overnight trip without him. Feeling loads better now and beeling and pain has stopped. But the anasthetic had left my lips numb so am going to see my dr tomorrow.

Have fun at your pizza do. Have any of you met before? It should be very interesting.

kreamkrackers · 16/01/2006 22:18

sorry wasn't on long but going to bed now as we've got to be up early tomorrow.

kreamkrackers · 16/01/2006 22:11

what test did you use?

kreamkrackers · 16/01/2006 22:08

oh i think a morning test is the best thing to do. i'm feeling really tired tonight. couldn't remember the name of the mat to detect her breathing so i actually phoned dp before sending my earier msg and thought he said amnio but it's actually an apnoe. posted a thing on health and special needs as well to see if anyone else can suggest anything but haven't had much response. i just want to know what's going on, the alarm scares me when it goes off but i think it makes dd remember to breath again. also spoke to hv who doesn't seem too concerned, so maybe i'm worrying for nothing.

Oh BTW, not testing tomorow. Still no Af but I did a sneeky and rahter naughty test at teatime today. Got a BFN. No trouble though coz I know it could be way too early. Anyway, I figure that if I got no result today, I won't tomorrow either so gonna leave it a few days now. Will do it Wednesday maybe, if not even later.

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:34

Jeez!! I'm bored!

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:33

A man took his pregnant wife to the hospital to give birth. The doctor told them that they'd developed a new machine and asked if the couple would like to try it out. The machine could take some of the pain of childbirth from the mother and give it to the father to ease the mother's burden.

Well, they thought that was a good idea, and decided to give it a try. The doctor initially set the machine on 10 percent, telling the man that even 10 percent was probably more pain than he'd ever experienced. But the husband was surprised at how little pain he was feeling, and asked the doctor to raise the level.

The doctor increased it to 20 percent, and when the man still felt fine, he raised it to 50 and finally 100 percent.

After it was all over, the man stood up, and stretched a little. Both he and his wife felt fine, and they shortly left the hospital to take the baby home.

It was then that they found the postman dead on their doorstep.

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:32

A woman went to the doctor's office. She was seen by one of the new doctors, but after about four minutes in the examination room, she burst out, screaming as she ran down the hall. An older doctor stopped and asked her what the problem was, and she explained. He had her sit down and relax in another room.

The older doctor marched back to the first and demanded, "What's the matter with you? Mrs. Terry is 63 years old, she has four grown children and seven grandchildren, and you told her she was PREGNANT?"

The new doctor smiled smugly as he continued to write on his clipboard.

"Cured her hiccups though, didn't it?"

Yesterday, scientists in the United States revealed that beer contains small traces of female hormones.

To prove their theory, they fed one hundred men twelve pints of beer and observed that 100% of them started talking nonsense and couldn't drive.

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:01

Ooo yes! I'm so bloody bored!

I will email all who are coming with my mobile and a pic (albeit a rather dodgy one!!)
