Morning all, room for one more? Im 34 and ttc #2 cycle 2 AF due 23/12. Please add me to the passenger list with you all. I promise to bring Christmas buffet goodies, sausage rolls a speciality.

FloydieDoydie · 29/11/2011 11:19

Chooo choooo! Room for a not so little one? Got my jammies on and I come bearing homemade cinnamon swirls Smile

I am 32 and TTC baba number one. I was pregnant and due in May, but had a miscarriage in October at 11 weeks.

(sorry to hear you had MC too Teapig hopefully we are luckier this time around!)

DP and I agreed we would wait til the new year before TTC again, but he knows I was not going to start taking the pill again and he's not bothered with an alternative so I think he's leaving it to see if nature intervenes this month Grin

I was secretly hopefully that I would be pg again straight away, but then when I wasn't, I was glad to see AF arrive bang on CD 34. I'm hoping this is a good sign that I have returned to "normal"; I had come off the pill, had withdrawal bleed, then one proper cycle at 34 days, then got pg the next cycle.

So, fingers crossed for a wonderful Christmas presen of BFPt, instead of AF on Christmas eve! Grin

MyDaydream · 28/11/2011 22:41

Whysoserious I'm with you on the stone, got really thin at the start of the year and then packed it all back on again. I blame work for their ridiculously cheap, and very yummy afternoon cake offers!

I was feeling quite excited for Christmas, never usually am. Then I went into town on Saturday nearly killed several people and now I'm out of the Christmas spirit. Not started shopping, debating not sending cards to anyone not related to me, generally being a bit of a misery guts this year.

Hi everyone! Only two days til we can start being full on christamassy! Excited!!

I'm on cycle day one today - full flow has arrived after 4 days of spotting. Rather worried about the whole spotting thing and have been asking people on the pregnancy board about it and have been reassured that people on there used to get it and they've managed to get pregnant. :)

Am going to be healthier this month though (well apart from parties and Christmas day) but really going to pay attention to my diet and get plenty of fruit and veg and get my ass down the gym. I've put on about a stone this year and I need to start losing it Shock

How amazing would it be for us all to get BFPs. IMagine a Christmas miracle of a whole thread of BFPs :o

Me too gnomi !! I can't think of a better Christmas pressie !!! GrinGrin

Ooh don't know about triplets but I would loooove twins !!! SmileSmile

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/11/2011 19:40

Sorry to scare you, it was supposed to reassure you as in it can't be as bad as mine Grin

Gnomi · 28/11/2011 18:46

Eliza, you have seriously scared me with your 108 days. If AF has still not come this time next week, I'll test again but 3 tests last week were BFNs.

I've seen people with triplets - it looks terrifying! I'm hoping we all get BFPs in our christmas stockings this year!

OptiMumPrime · 28/11/2011 18:23

Would be the best Christmas present to ourselves, getting that positive pregnancy result. Here's hoping. I have been very good all year!

Welcome, Cherrypie and Winkly! Still a few seats left...

Morning all. AF is still with me and I can't wait for her to depart for the month and for the SWI-athon to begin! Grin

cherrypiew3 · 27/11/2011 21:43

Hello can I come aboard please

I am on cycle 2 but not really sure when AF is next due I normally have a 32/33 day cycle but this month was only 29 days not sure if that is something to do with it being my first month coming off the pill.

Cherrypiew3 (30) TTC#4 cycle 2 Af due 12th Dec

Winkly · 27/11/2011 20:59

Can I please join in (and secretly hope for not-triplets?)

Winkly (30) TTC#1 cycle 1, AF due 3rd Dec

Freaking myself out these last few days with probably imaginary symptom spotting! Tasting the beetroot extract in one drop of food colouring added to icing, not wanting wine with Sunday lunch, nearly throwing up at the smell of air freshener, sore lower back and cramping a few days ago..... I'll be so disappointed when my period comes! Secretly hoping I'm as super-fertile as my sister, who conceived son 1 on cycle 1 and son 2 on cycle 3 - brain knows I'm not but heart wishes....

VeniVidiVino · 27/11/2011 20:05

Shock you mean it's not really the stork?

OptiMumPrime · 27/11/2011 19:57

Wow! Wonderful! Would love a big family.

mrsmellow · 27/11/2011 19:54

I tend to say we'll have to see what the stork brings (if only it were that easy Grin)
tbh, nearly all of my friends have babies or are pregnant at the moment and are fairly grown up about not putting people on the spot, and I suspect they all presume that we are trying too.

Triplets! Agree with the ovary instructions VVV!

Chuckaluck · 27/11/2011 18:35

They are all boys! She already has 3 other kids! Thought she would have 1 more and ended up with another 3!

OptiMumPrime · 27/11/2011 18:21

Slobby, not slob by!

OptiMumPrime · 27/11/2011 18:21

Wow! I'd love to have triplets! What gender(s) are they?

OptiMumPrime · 27/11/2011 18:20

Also having a slob by out day on the sofa, should be the last day of AF today, so need our strength for all the TTC efforts coming! :) Not in my festive PJs til the first though, but they are washed and ready. Mmm!

Most people know we are trying for a baby, being the joint oldest on the current list (waves at Eliza), I don't feel I've got so much time to waste, plus we'd like a small gap between DC if possible.

Thanks all for doing the list update. Good luck to us all.

VeniVidiVino · 27/11/2011 18:16

Shock at triplets! Glad they are all ok though :)
I generally find a few 'brush off' comments are sufficient at the moment, like "not until we've moved house" and "no, I hear you can't have wine if you're pg!" along with fake laughs and a quick change of subject, tough to be having it from all sides though, don't know how I'd cope with that one...

Chuckaluck · 27/11/2011 18:09

Hey VVV, I find it really hard to know what to say to people when they ask about us 'being next' to have a baby. I get it from all sides, friends, family and at work! My cousin just had triplets(!) so I tend to just say oh I am going to take one of hers at the moment! Had cuddles with the smallest one yesterday and did think about putting him in my handbag and going home Wink

VeniVidiVino · 27/11/2011 17:55

Thanks Gnomi, is there no chance of BFP for you this cycle? If not then I hope AF comes asap so you can crack on! Are you close with the others at church? Sounds like there will be a spate of Christenings there next year.

I am actively denying TTC to anyone who asks, it is none of their business imho, how have you responded to them?

VeniVidiVino · 27/11/2011 17:50

mrsmellow thanks for the chronological list, I love that you have done this :) , not nerdy at all! My friend is definitely not trying herself (single, student etc.) so I guess you could be right about putting more differences between us if when DH and I start a family. She wasn't great when I got engaged tbh, went a bit funny before becoming supportive. She is lovely though so I will hold out for her to get on board with the concept of mini VVV . It sounds like your friend will be supportive if she is also TTC, fingers crossed for your BFP on/around 16th! Thank you so much for nice advice, needed a boost after :( yesterday.

Have a good evening relaxing eliza
