I have to remember that my first mc of the year would have also still been alive at this point as it measured over 7 weeks. Gosh time is going to drag so slowly isn't it! I really really hope the medication will do the trick this time. Still waiting to see docs, Duggs in there. We were hugging and crying like long lost friends in the waiting room :)

Feels so nice here, so much better than my local Epu where the sonographer barely speaks to you and you're in and out with very little information. Even the sonographer was such a breath of fresh air!

Yes we looked like lesbian lovers hugging in the st marys waiting room at the heartbeat news in our fury coats! Only met 10 mins before Grin I'm only here because they never answer the phone so chatting away with free. . Fingers crossed now for scooter !!

free I had a feeling they'd scan you today. It's what they tend to do at the first appointment...but I didn't want to say anything and stress you out for no reason in case they decided against it. Very best of luck. Will be lurking close by.

scooter hope you're ok this morning. Have you taken a paracetemol for the headache? The minutes must be dragging by so slowly for you.

Am here at St Mary's with Duggs! She helped keep me sane before I went in for my scan. A bit shaken, just seen my first ever heartbeat. Measured 6.2. Obviously we all know that things can still go wrong but it's a good start. Scooter we are all rooting for you for this afternoon xxxxxx

God this is almost as bad as waiting for my own scan, I'm biting my nails waiting for news from you both scooter and free ... and I know your scan isn't till 1:30 scooter! Crossing all fingers, toes, ears and eyes.

Good luck free I'm so sorry you have had a stressful night. Hope it's not too long til your scan now. I am also feeling sick with nerves, so although i don't have much in the way of comforting words today, hope that knowing we are in the same boat helps a little. Thinking of you x

Morning all ... huge good wishes to you both scooter and free, hoping all shows well with both of your scans. free I know you know this but it may be too soon to see anything useful; I hope the scan does manage to put your mind at rest though.

Thinking of you too scooter. Ive had a similar bight actually and am just here at St mary's where they are going to scan me. Am absolutely terrified. J really feel there will be nothing growing again. Feel sick with nerves.

Hi brownie really really pleased to hear about your scan, that's great news.

As for me, it's been a long night of hot sweats and a banging migraine. I've been awake ages but too frightened to even get out of bed and find out what the situation is. I need to get up and take the pred at some point so building up courage. I am lucky I guess that DH is here and he is letting me rest - in case that can do any good.

I just want to say thank you so much for all your support, every message just kept me going yesterday. Means a lot to hear from people who really know.

Just the wait til the scan now.

Free I am a bit nervous about telling St Mary's about the NK treatment as I don't know what their view is on it these days but can't help but think she would be happy with the fact we have managed to get this far. We are going to her to see if she will monitor us till 20 or beyond as my local hospital want me to continue specialist care as they deem me as high risk. I know they are doing a progesterone trial at St M so want to see their opinion about me continuing with it for longer. When I was with them last I also promised them my placenta should I ever have a successful pregnancy. Think that would be a good cause.

Battery what time is your appointment? Mine is 1745. How great would that be to meet up.

re: St Mary's questionnaire. I filled it in the day before and took it with me to my appointment. I actually went to the address on the letter to drop it off before my appointment but they told me it was fine to just take it along and hand it over to the receptionist. Good luck with appts tomorrow free and duggs.

Sorry to hear you've had a bit of spotting too cheerful - it really has been a day of it Sad. Glad it's tailed off though.

scooter thinking of you tonight and hope scan tomorrow proves bean is just a bit of a drama-bean.

choccy glad all's looking relatively boring with you now. Heartburny niggles and stretching pains sounds fairly straightforward.

I hope everyone is feeling better tonight, am keeping my fingers crossed that everything is resolved tomorrow and that all bleeding stops xx
duggs and free I will be interested in what happens at st marys tomorrow, as I have my appointment on the 13th december (same as brownie:)) I hope to be pg by then - so I wonder what they will say If I am? I have sent the questionnaire back but didn't keep a photocopy so I hope they haven't lost it!

Big waves to everyone, I hope all thiose who need to get a decent nights sleep xx

Hi all - have been lurking around feeling ill which I shouldn't complain about as all pregnancy / steroid symptoms.
Sorry not to get to meet up with you Duggs and sue and hope you are feeling better sue
what a crap day for so many of you - really sorry to read about it - I thought mine wasn't great but that was just because of some lost school shoes, usual school stuff and not being able to open the glove compartment to get my purse out! So sorry to read about the bleeding - I know I've said it before so sorry for being repetitive but I had no bleeding in six miscarriages but have bled with this one - so please take heart and I'll keep fingers crossed for you all.

scooter everything crossed for your scan tomorrow, I truly truly hope everything's ok for you and it's just breakthrough bleeding. It is horrible that we have to go through such a scary time especially when there are no outward signs to reassure us and I know it's hard to assume other than bad things. We are here for you hugs

free if you've tailed off again and didn't have much or for very long, maybe it was a reaction to the sff? So many of us are/have been spotting at various stages, all the stuff we take must be part of the equation and maybe the slightest irritation or contact sets us off?

I've got plenty of heartburny niggles esp when my stomach's empty, and various little twinges, not painful just like stuff is pushing and pulling around all round my lower abdomen, lower back and upper legs. BUT not spotting any more. Of course now I've said that... But I'll stop that thought there, I'm trying to be optimistic.
