Aaaaargh !!! Don't know what to do with myself during 2ww !!

I'm going to try and wait until Sunday or Monday, will see how I feel, unless AF starts first of course. We also waited about a year from when we wanted to start trying until we did so I'm just fed up of waiting.

Everyone tells you to relax and stop thinking about it but I have no idea how the hell that would be possible! it's the worst advice ever!!

I know it's only our first proper month but as we've been planning for at least a year (due to coming off very strong bad for babies meds) so I know what you mean about all consuming... DH thinks I need to relax but it's so hard when it's your body that's doing loopyness... My sister took one year and has a gorgeous toddler now...

When are you testing (throws baby dust)? I think I will try again in the morning if still no AF as I'll actually be proper late then...

can I join you? This is our 7th month trying and I'm starting to feel like I'm going a bit mad!! I've been testing for ovulation using one step ovulation kits which I realised this month I haven't even been using properly. I'm not really sure when I'm ovulating or even if I am at all.

I'm now towards the end of the 2ww, AF due on Sunday and I've tested tonight and got a BFN. I've convinced myself I'm pg cos I've been feeling knackered, a bit sick and just generally not myself. Think I'm going to take it pretty hard if it doesn't work this month. I know some people have been trying for much longer but 7 months feels like forever and it's just consuming my thoughts all the bloody time!!!!

Hi can I join you? AF is due today and doesn't feel on it's way yet (prob is tho). This is our first month consciously ttc... Eek! Gave in and tested last night and this morning, both no :-(

Feel like I need a gin but being good. Have horrid lower back ache, is that a symptom? Think not. Our black cat is in constant trouble everytime he walks the wrong way, is it normal to go this mad! Help!

TMI altert: This is my 3rd day of old looking brown spotting, but it seems to be fading away. This is not normal for me, usually by day 2 of AF it's pretty heavy and bright red in colour . Still BFN's though. I'm going mad!

pissed off. pissed off that I let myself get my hopes up. Pissed off that my stomach and back are killing and I should be doing housework.

Squirrel - sorry you're in limbo at the mo. Is the brown spotting usual for you? Fx you get some answers soon. Re: anxiety I think stress can delay ovulation but once you have ov'd the time between ov and AF is a set number of days (your Lutuel phase) and this remains the same each month and isn't effected by stress. That is what I have been led to understand anyway. Please correct if I'm wrong.

Another BFN for me. I wonder if AF is being delayed due to my anxiety about the whole thing? I even did a hard core Spinning class at the gym yesterday hoping that might get her going. Grrrr!

Yes, thank you Squirrel for the link. I've used the timing calculator on there, and with my cycle, I shouldn't test until Tuesday at least. And I've also read some literature that states that the blood test would have been ideal yesterday or after, but I had it done Tuesday. I looked through some stuff from when I was last pregnant to, and as it turns out, I was a little over 6 weeks before I got a positive. I'd taken a test a few days before and got a bfn.
I've also been reading testimonials regarding PCOS and pregnancy tests of all varieties, and there's some very interesting experiences.
So, until af comes, I am still clinging to the smallest glimmer of hope!!!!!
I'm still getting nausea and slight lower back pain, and dull pains in my uterus. I'm expecting af to show, but will be over the moon if she doesn't.

MrsC - sorry to hear about AF, but at least it means your body is getting back to normal after the Mirena.

What's happening with everyone else?

I have had two days (TMI) spotting old brown blood, and some cramps, but no AF and my temps are still high....very mysterious. I was convinced AF would come during the night and had a few drinks - now no sign of AF and I am hung over - don't usually get hung over on three glasses of wine - another symptom?!

Gonna test again tomorrow. And maybe make a doc's appointment for next week.

Aww MrsC - so sorry to hear AF showed. It is cruel how our bodies can mess with us like this during the 2WW. Hope you feel brighter in a few days. Try to be gentle with yourself x

7 DPO here and have a couple of new 'symptoms' - chest pains today - heartburn maybe? Never normally get HB so not sure what it's like. TMI - a blob of snotty like CM this afternoon. Bit of lower back ache and tiredness. God, if I am imagining all this, I will have frightened even myself! Lol.

Think I am gonna test with a cheapie on Sun (10dpo) unless I get a burst of self control and can wait a few days. AF is expected a week today. Have become a bit addicted to googling pictures of other peoples pregnancy tests by what dpo they were!

Squirrel - thanks for that link it was interesting to see % of people getting BFPs on different days.

TTC no 2, and I was 18 DPO before getting a BFP for DD1 (dating scan made this even later making me 5 wks pregnant before that positive test) so not sure if I should test on the 2nd really.

Symptoms...Pretty much PO I've been getting dull dragging period type pains and twinges, feeling that more the last day or two including lower back ache. I definitely had this once my period was late last time, but not this early.

So sorry Mrs C. ON to the next one then? Hugs! x

Thank you MrsC. I'm gonna wait for af to come and go before I go to docs. So, as that's due at some point over the next 8/10 days, all I can do is wait to find out what is wrong. I don't like the fact that I was spotting for 6 days well before af was due, it's quite worrying even though I had no pain with it.

Im dying to but in all previous months I have tested and then AF has come a hour later so Im trying to put it off because it just wastes tests.

BFN from docs blood test. So, just waiting for af I guess. Gonna go to docs next week to find out what's actually wrong.

Symptoms I read too much into thought where there have gone, AF due today but up to now apart from a bit of backache last night no actual sign of AF coming! (normally have choc cravings/irrational mood swings/stomach ache few days before)

Still, going to try wait til sunday if no AF will test then.

Sorry Lucy, just seen your message. Hpt done this morning, bfn. I'm not sure when I'll get blood test results. I'm going to try calling today, but I'm not expecting to get them until tomorrow or Monday(25th/28th).
