We are all jolly well going to smack the rat this month and grow a baby and we'll brook no argument. And probably eat some cake too.

Ladies....begin.

What a successful night - OH came home gagging for a shag (perhaps I should be concerned that my EWCM is such a turn on Hmm), and now he's building the TV cabinet while I sup a camomile tea. Ladies, that's what I call a result Wink

Agh, Little it's always a bitter pill to swallow when AF turns up even if you do know that the chances are next to nothing. Am brooking no argument that illness stays away this cycle so that the rat can get properly smacked.

Popcorn FB can be a tough place to be, can't it? It's lovely that people are so happy and lucky with their DCs but it can be sickening when it's what you're longing for yourself. Chin up, lovely.

Munkii lovely to see you on the thread again. Hope you're doing okay.

Right, off to bed I go. Night all.

Thanks for the gifts Munk Smile

Glad to hear you're ok Little could we not brook for an ironic BFP for you this month?! Smile

I'm ok thanks, I too am CD20!!

How'd it go Generic?

Munkiii · 22/11/2011 21:26

Still Grin for Generic!

I have just brought some hot chocolate and cookies for you all.

Night night lovely brookers, see you tomorrow x

TheLittleFriend · 22/11/2011 19:12

I'm ok thanks maybe & generic. CD20 today and the spotting has stopped, but I'm feeling the usual pre af very low stomach "weird" feeling today. There really is next to no chance this month though, due to all the illness, so not to worry. I'm still happy about your news generic!!

What about you maybe, what's going on with you atm?

Hope you can relax and have a nice, fb free evening popcorn

possiblemaybebaby · 22/11/2011 19:07

Ah, Pop it sucks sometimes. I'm afraid my fb status' are all about puppy wind at the momet Grin

whimsicalname · 22/11/2011 18:44

Deep breaths, popcorn. I know it's galling, but here's brooking your time will come!

BTW, there's a whole article in the guardian website today about not sharing pregnancy related info on FB here

I couldn't possibly comment from experience runs to delete previous oversharing FB posts

Biscuitsandtea · 22/11/2011 17:29

My money is on a few tears of joy from Mr Generic

PopcornMouse · 22/11/2011 17:14

I can't wait to hear how he reacts :)

PopcornMouse · 22/11/2011 17:12

I am :( and Angry

It would appear that the current facebook trend is to post your baby's due date, dob and labour times. I know IABU to be so annoyed Blush but having had DSIL and her "perfect/wonderful/my life's now complete/etc" 3 month old stay the weekend, I have reached my limit! So: ARRRRGH!

Ok, whinge over, normal service may now resume :o

GenericDietCola · 22/11/2011 17:06

Not sunk in yet, feel very happy still! Looking forward to going home shortly and will think about ways to tell him during my drive. I will let you know what he says!

Good luck with the furniture assembly SWI Imps!

SweetieDoesIt · 22/11/2011 16:58

How you feeling now Generic has it sunk in yet? So what time will you get to tell DH? amazed at the will power to keep schtum in earlier phone call I think however you break the news he will be beyond delighted. It is just the best news in the world.

Imps you charmer Wink

musicalmrs · 22/11/2011 16:30

Still sooooo happy after your news Generic - you have no idea how much that brightened a tough Tuesday! Can't wait to hear how you break it to other half!

Imps, which offer did he decide to go for? :P I must admit my texts to my DH were very similar.. "I feel quite crampy today so I might have Ov-ed, and seen as we haven't SWI-ed for a few days, we'll have to tonight!". There was no romance to be seen in the musical household :D

GenericDietCola · 22/11/2011 15:43

Surely there would be time for both, Imps?

Biscuitsandtea · 22/11/2011 15:23

Loving your style Imps Smile

Which option did he pick?

Solars · 22/11/2011 15:19

Haha Imps surely your DH could not refuse that offer!

Generic you're made of strong stuff there, holding out with the testing and then not even mentioning it to DH on the phone, I think if it was me I would have strongly hinted at least! Oh he's going to be so chuffed! I'd love a wine gum by the way.

Oh to be 30 again Cupcakes

GenericDietCola · 22/11/2011 14:31

Cupcakes thanks m'dear! 30 is young! Nice to have something to distract you in the 2ww though.

CupcakesAndCocktails · 22/11/2011 14:31

Haha Imps you know how to make a guy feel special!!!

GenericDietCola · 22/11/2011 14:30

Imps how could he refuse?!

Thanks Little how are you? Surely teary eyes is a preggo symptom!

Maybe start thinking about how to announce it now! I have no idea! Just spoke to him on the phone and was tempted to blurt it out! Will probably go with Solars suggestion of nice tea tonight and tell him then.

Wine gum anyone? Just bought a huge bag!

CupcakesAndCocktails · 22/11/2011 14:30

GrinSmileWinkGrinSmileWinkGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinThanksThanks

Generic that is bloody brilliant news. Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you.

Pop am glad AF didn't turn up, I'm very hopeful for you this month after the double lot of rat smacking.

Maybe I don't eat fruit cake so I'm definitely going to give your recipe a go. It sounds gorgeous.

Have I'm looking forward to a post Xmas BFP for you!

I'm 7dpo, no symptoms as such apart from over active bowels!! Blush The 2ww is not driving me crazy this time as I'm 30 in 2 weeks so I'm too busy flapping about that! I've always said I'm not bothered about being 30 but now it's happening I feel old. I think it's cos of ttc to be honest.

possiblemaybebaby · 22/11/2011 13:21

Loving your style Imps How could DH possibly say no? Grin

How are you Little?

I have dreams about how I will announce it to DH if when I am preggo.

TheLittleFriend · 22/11/2011 12:46

Yeeeesssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations generic!!! I'm so happy for you. Grin Grin I got tears in my eyes when I saw all the smiley faces on the thread as I scrolled up. xxxxxxx

Imps7 · 22/11/2011 12:36

Hmmm, I may need to reconsider my seduction technique - just sent OH a text message saying "If you're back from work at a reasonable time tonight we could have some slap and tickle if we feel like it - have got loads of fertile cervical mucus today. Alternatively we could put together the TV cabinet."

I think Stacy in G&S gave Gavin a box of about 200 positive pee sticks didn't she?? I imagine that'll be me if when the time comes.

OP posts:
musicalmrs · 22/11/2011 11:26

YAY Generic, congratulations!! So pleased!

Apologies for the short message as I'm currently running in between schools - will catch up properly later - but had to post!

possiblemaybebaby · 22/11/2011 11:14

Oooh, I love both cinnamon and brazils. And what better time than Christmas to indulge in them Smile

Ah, can't wait to find out how you do it Generic, he will be over the moon Grin

Solars · 22/11/2011 11:11

You could always propose fatherhood Generic 'will you be a father again?' tonight over a lovely dinner??

Stasi please pick me up some cinnamon & brazil nuts too whilst you're at the shops :)
