Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

We are all jolly well going to smack the rat this month and grow a baby and we'll brook no argument. And probably eat some cake too.

Munkiii - how totally sad I feel for you and wish MC hadn't happened again. Perhaps you should make an app so at least it's on their radar. Hope DD gives you lots and lots of hugs.

Sad
ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 20:42

Hmm - from my experience I wouldn't bet on it. I went to the GP during my mc and was just told 'Oh it'll be fine' Hmm. Luckily it was as I got pg with DD 2 months later, but even so!

Your DD is very lucky to have you too, Munkiii.

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 20:25

I think I will make an appointment as I assume I will need a scan to check things. Must have been about five or six weeks I think. Not sure if anything can be done as I have had DD between mc.

I am focussing on how lucky and blessed I am to have her.

ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 20:23

Definitely onwards and upwards, Munkiii. Are you going to see your GP? I completely understand if you don't want to but if you've had a miscarriage before it might help to investigate? x

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 20:19

Thanks Solars

I am still brooking for all of you!

Solars · 11/11/2011 19:55

Oh Munkii I am so sorry to hear that big {{{hugs}}} you poor love, i'm still brooking all will be ok x

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 19:51

Bit crap eh? Thanks Scrambled it just didn't feel right in the first place iykwim hence my silence.

Anyhoo onwards and upwards?! [weak grin]

ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 19:43

Oh no Munkiii. That's just so bloody unfair. Sad

Big (((((hugs))))) for you.

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 19:39

Thanks Ninja how's your little bean doing? Must be about seven weeks or so now? So excited for you!

NinjaChipmunk · 11/11/2011 19:37

((munkiii)) look after yourself and we will be brooking for you. Very sorry to hear your news.

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 19:31

Thank you, I am not hopeful.

This is my second one and seems to be panning out the way of the first.

Nothing to be done, have sent DH out for pizza.

Hope all well with you?

PopcornMouse · 11/11/2011 19:29

Oh Munkiii - huge, massive bear hugs. I will brook extra, extra hard that that's not the case. Look after yourself :( :(

Munkiii · 11/11/2011 19:24

Evening all
Sorry have been quiet of late. Well I got my BFP but I am fairly convinced I am having a miscarriage at the moment, utterly devastated of course but will be back brooking very soon.

Love to all xxx

PopcornMouse · 11/11/2011 19:13

Take a look at the photos - she's like, 45 or something Shock

PopcornMouse · 11/11/2011 19:12

She was a model biscuits but now she bakes. She had a Saturday morning show for a while and she's tipped to replace Jamie as Sainsbo's figurehead, apparently - www.lorrainepascale.com/ :)

Biscuitsandtea · 11/11/2011 18:41

Who the flippety flip is Lorraine Pascale?

PopcornMouse · 11/11/2011 18:37

Oooo I rather like Lorraine Pascal. You must be in London, Smegs?

ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 18:32

Ah, I see. I am well metal, me.

farfallarocks · 11/11/2011 17:55

smegs yes I know. It was phrase we used on the 'Just MC, ready to try again' thread and someone made a typo. Then it became the stock phrase, metalling!!!!

Yes treatment needs to start ASAP.

Timing COULD NOT BE WORST

ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 17:50

Farfalla 'metalling'?! I know it's a typo but it made me Grin.

Um. Yes, in your position I would test by 12dpo to be on the safe side. It's definitely possible that you are upduffed, and if so the treatment needs to start asap, doesn't it?

ScrambledSmegs · 11/11/2011 17:45

Hah! Yes, she is ultra-annoying, and her lack of cookery credentials drive me & DH mad. But in RL the woman glows. Seriously beautiful. And my normally taciturn butcher was giggling and blushing Hmm.

Of course if it was Nigel Slater no-one would blink round here. Can't turn round for falling over him...

farfallarocks · 11/11/2011 17:44

ignores the fact that I have tingly nips and sore boobs every cycle in the 2ww along with a host of other 'symptoms'

farfallarocks · 11/11/2011 17:43

I have the tingly nips!!!!

I am only 8 or 9dpo so no testing for ages and to be honest I am not sure I can deal with the metalling and so am tempted to bury head in sand and not test at all but then if I am updiffed I need to start this injections. Argh! Will leave it until 12dpo at least though.

solars arrrghhhhhh, how annoying. But a great luteal phase though!
Congrats on the first day of your pregnancy

popcorn have a look on the rat smackers antenatal thread for news of Bartlett

beangrower · 11/11/2011 17:41

Oh don't Smegs - LP drives me and DP up the proverbial wall and across the ceiling. But at least she's not diffed; that would have been a real Envy for us all.

beangrower · 11/11/2011 17:37

Sorry to be useless - I don't understand the ramekins but I'm imagining POAS may also be involved.

Boo to CD1 for you solars - hurray to pos attitude and 'cracking on'.

Far has to be deffo diffed. Watch out in particular for the tingly nips as well as sore boobs.

I am on CD15 so have entered 2ww; have helmet and rifle at the ready but not looking forward to trench rot, lice and weevils in my biscuits. Wondering if a last bit of SWI before Zs tonight would ice the cake just in case the egglrt was retarded... Hmm

Don't worry Smegs sofa was a bit bust and DP was all at a tilt. Music lovely though and was a surprise night out for DP, which he loved, so feel that I am a good wifey some of the time at least.
