I tested last night and was so sure it would be pos and then was in a rotten bad sulky mood all night ! At least if you're home you can open the wine and choccies and cuddle up on the couch !

Good luck to you though !

oliveoil · 11/11/2003 13:06

I can't, I'm at work!!!!! And I have to go now and do some heh heh heh heh heh. I will be back later hopefully.

futurity · 11/11/2003 13:02

I'm fine..wasn't actually ttc and pleased it has turned up as I was worrying that it hadn't. Just taken aback by all the hormones (burst into tears about silly thing this morning!). I suppose AF when not on the pill has a bigger kick!!

oliveoil · 11/11/2003 13:02

Oh futerity. That is what I am worried about too.

CountessDracula · 11/11/2003 12:58

Sorry futurity Better luck next month

CountessDracula · 11/11/2003 12:57

Oliveoil get into that bog THIS INSTANT!!!!!!!!
Come on you can't keep us waiting now that you have the test in your paws. I WILL NOT BE KEPT WAITING

futurity · 11/11/2003 12:57

Why did I bother doing the test yesterday..AF turned up this morning along with all the hormones! At least this means now hopefully (!) the pill is out of my system and we can think about ttc over Xmas

oliveoil · 11/11/2003 12:50

Stop it

Jemma7 · 11/11/2003 12:48

Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, .............................

oliveoil · 11/11/2003 12:47

I am at work! Would cry at either poss or neg result and work don't know I am trying. Although they might as they know I go on this site....

Will prob do it tonight. Feel daft though as last month I was 4 days late (normally 28 reg as clockwork) and got all excited and then my period arrived.

M2T · 11/11/2003 12:42

COME ON OO!! DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

oliveoil · 11/11/2003 12:38

Have just bought a First Response (£11.79!!!!) in my lunch hour

quackers · 11/11/2003 12:38

Hi Helsbels, I haven't tested yet! Just have been here before and know what's going on! I don't want to test until P due!
Well I was all for career for a long long time , even after DD but things have changed and I'm happy to be at home for a couple of years or so. I do work P/T now after huge arguements with the boss, but even dropping a day is SO worth it! I now do 3 days and would probably finish if I had another littlel'n!

CountessDracula · 11/11/2003 11:43

M2T we have a dogwalker for the days I'm not working at home (2 or 3 days a week)

Am today so off for a crumpet and golden syrup yummmmmmm. Will help ovaries to produce more eggs IMO.

Helsbels · 11/11/2003 11:23

You can be pg with us!! (If you get your finger out and stop resisting the inevitable!!)

M2T · 11/11/2003 11:21

lol helsbels.

Are any of you ttc'ers in Scotland?? I'd like to be pg 'with' someone this time. I didn't even attend an antenatal class last time. And moved to another area when I was 7mths pg. So I didn't really have anybody to share it all with!

M2T · 11/11/2003 11:19

Dogwalker??????
I'm a harsh b*tch... I get rid of the dog if it menat I could spend more time with ds.

Helsbels · 11/11/2003 11:19

CD don't you wimp out on me now!!!! M2T don't resist - go for it Quackers - test agin on Saturday. Thanks for all the congratulations - I hope to see at least 3 more on the July board before the end of next week!!!

CountessDracula · 11/11/2003 11:17

I do love my job and it is very well paid, that is part of the problem. We have a fairly big mortgage and enormous outgoings, some of which we could get rid of if we each worked 4 days, eg nanny, cleaner, dogwalker, personal trainer, chef (ok last two a lie!!)

BUT I don't want to end up like that bloody woman in that book!

Dino - Did you get me mail last night? You can email me the ending.... I am too scared to read anymore of it. Some of the feelings she has about work/family could've come from my mouth and I'm ashamed of that.
Feelings are changing though. There is more to life than this sh*t(My job I mean!).

CountessDracula · 11/11/2003 11:13

No don't!

I do worry thoough. Am going part time (4 days a week) in Jan hopefully, so that should address some of the probs. DH is hoping to do the same, then we would have a good balance I think and dd would only have to have a nanny 3 days a week which would be perfect

CD I'm reading that too! I had to stop coz it was making me feel so guilty coz I could relate to so much it...... apart from her wealth!
However, I can bake my own Mince Pies.

And I always make it home before ds's bedtime, although I'm normally away in the morning before he wakes. >sigh<

I'm hoping to go part time after the 2nd.
