Hi Jems, you are funny!

CONGRATULATIONS Cinnamon. Thats great news! Are you still shaking?

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 21:22

Oh c'mon please forgive me - i'm just being blonde

Didn't mean it nastily, someone talk to me! Dp on his new Xbox and i'm bored!

Where is everyone - is anybody out there - can anybody hear me??????
Name that film

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 20:13

Oh my god Cinammon - I'm SO SO SO sorry, i feel terrible!

I read that message completely wrong.

An extra big CONGRATULATIONS to make up for my mistake Well done!
When are u due then?

Bunny you make me laugh I could put up with 9 months of being completely thick if it meantbeing PG - Dippy Bird

CountessDracula · 04/11/2003 20:06

Oh, and if it's your first Cinnamon, don't get all excited about seeing the doc. They just say "oh" and book you in to see the midwives at 8 or 9 weeks or thereabouts (I think, from memory). I remember finding it very odd with dd that the entire local medical population wasn't hammering my door down to do all sorts of tests etc. It was a bit of an anti-climax!

CountessDracula · 04/11/2003 20:03

Wow well done Cinnamon!!! How long had you been trying? I am so happy for you and your dh!

bunny2 · 04/11/2003 19:42

Cinnamon, can I be the first to say "Congratulations"? Jems, you must be pg, you daft bat, read the message!!!

sibble · 04/11/2003 19:39

i miss so much of the chat being in a different time zone..havn't had time to read all posts since yesterday as have 10 mins to leave for work and DS and I are still in PJ's.... Did test and negative then AF arrived about an hour later...for 1st time in 6 months was quite pleased...would have worried so much for 9 months...lesson learned even if bubbly free leave it alone...stupid really because Ds wasn't planned and it is a wonder he didn't come out pickled due to the amount I probably drunk in my ignorance until I realised was pregnant. Oh well back to the drawing board...so wanted to be pregnant before m/c baby due date...is not to be now but maybe it was meant to be..will read posts when back from work..good luck everybody..OMG timeI was leaving so don't want to go to work today...

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 18:59

Oh no cinammon! So sorry - but if no af yet theres still hope

I've bought my tests todat ready for thursday - probably gone and cursed myself now! !

Cinnamon · 04/11/2003 18:47

Hi there. I've not been around much the last couple of days and just spent an age 'catching up'. Well, now I feel like a fraud! I tested on Saturday - and I'm -+ve. Can't believe it, DH in tears (me too). Can't wait, it feels like we've been trying for ever. So, can I stay on this thread or do I join another? Still trying to see bloody doctor will have to wait till after hols. Good luck to all, I get really excited for everyone when reading the messsages. LOLXX C

fisil · 04/11/2003 18:43

Hey hey, got the BD in last night. Now just two weeks to wait and see if just one of his 200 million has a good enough sense of direction ... Just one. Is it too much to ask?

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 14:16

ROFL @ Oliveoil

Today is just dragging and dragging - wish Thursday would just HURRY UP!!!!

BigBird · 04/11/2003 14:08

yeah quacks - I used it a bit but mainly found it dead handy for the downloadable guide-book (which I can open and read anytime at work without being online !).

quackers · 04/11/2003 13:28

LOL oliveoil!! hilarious! Did the pissy stick tthing last time, it;s grt!!
Bigbird, thanks. I do get these big dips after ov. Hoping it will go back up agai tommorow. That website fertility friend is fab, was it you BB who recommended??? It tells you alsorts if you log your temps etc online. I'm dead impressed!!!

oliveoil · 04/11/2003 13:20

Well, we have been attempting 'relations' this w/end but dd has decided to turn into a 2ft birth control device and won't sleep. Had to laugh when dh went in her room and I heard him say 'we are trying to make you a brother or sister, shut up'.

Helsbels · 04/11/2003 13:09

Well Jems, if you're not this month maybe you'll be able to give him an extra christmas pressie too!! My dh would kill me but I think he'd be so over the moon he'd forget to be cross!! Also, I have all the family round on Christmas Day so it would be fab to tell everyone at once, now I'm wishful thinking too!! I already have a nice pissy stick sized box!!!

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 12:42

DP would kill me if i left it longer to tell him - not sure if i tested on Thursday i'd even be able to wait until next Tuesday (His b'day) to tell him

I will prob wrap it up and tell him its an earlier present - God listen to me, anyone would think i'd found out i defo was pregnant
Wishful thinking! !

Thanks for the idea Helsbels BTW

Helsbels · 04/11/2003 12:21

It was me!! That's why I'm not testing until Christmas eve as I can't keep a secret like that!!

M2T · 04/11/2003 12:19

Jemma7 - lol @ pissy stick! Thats a good idea though..... I might be doing that for Valentines day.

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 12:09

Can't remember who said it yesterday but i am going to steal their idea.

If i am PG i am going to wrap the pissy stick up for DP - he will wonder what the hell it is - it's his birthday next week so it would make it extra special!
Can just picture his face, all pleased and excited then realising what he's holding!

Here's hoping AF holds off

Helsbels · 04/11/2003 11:41

Im not testing until christmas eve!!!

M2T · 04/11/2003 11:34

I'm due my next AF around the 30th November.... so if it doesn't show by the 7th December, I'll be doing a test then.

BigBird · 04/11/2003 11:27

i'm not due till next week Jems.

Quacks - dunno about your temps - seems strange. Were you ill/hungover ??? Did they go back 'up' after that ? I've skipped temping this month as was getting tired of it but I temped a few days aftter I thought I would O and temps weren't up so I don't know where I am this month. It's hard to keep it all up month after month!

Jemma7 · 04/11/2003 11:24

Who is due to test soon then?
Am getting confused with who, what when etc

Helsbels · 04/11/2003 10:26

Was thinking this morning that it's strange that one or more of us could be pg....I'm glad the chantings working so far Jems, will shake rattles later as an extra precaution
