How gutted to log on and find that someone had beaten me to the 1000 post and I couldn't update on the old thread.

Particularly as I got my BFP last night!!! I'd had two BFNs last week and was expecting AF to arrive while on holiday but it never came... Got more and more convinced that I was pg (feeling a bit sick too) as the weekend went on and literally tested within 10 mins of arriving home. Poor DH was still unloading the car as I greeted him at the door with my pink line!

Very excited although a bit apprehensive too. Really want to tell everyone but obviously don't want to this early so am REALLY pleased I have all you lovely ladies on MN to share with.

I was too excited to do more than skim the last few pages on the last thread but did see there had been several other BFPs so congratulations to all those too!

hey loulou - when I got my BFP for DS I POAS 13 DPO. I did POAS 10 DPO and got BFN BUT i was using a 'test from the day you're due' one. If you use first response it may pick up an earlier result.

how's your energy? When i fell pregnant in the summer (but MC) I knew i was pregnant as i was shattered! just couldn't stay awake without an afternoon nap!

all fine here - clock watching as i want to get home to DS and DH. God i'd love another little one to add to my lovely family.

does anyone else on this thread allow themselves to think "what would i call a baby?" or "would i like a boy or a girl?" or am i the only one silly enough to have those thoughts before i am even pregnant??

louloubellamozzarella · 08/11/2011 14:57

Hello?

Bit quiet in here today ladies! Everyone ok? Still getting crampy tummy. Was meant to go for lunchtime run but chickened out as achy tummy and (well mostly) cold and horribly grey and drizzly outside.

Question for those in the group who've had kids: when did you POAS? Just wondering if I can get away with trying at the end of this week when I'll be 10/11 DPO or whether I should just wait till the 18th when AF's due (soooo impatient).

I'm planning a hot shower and a hot choc when I get home - brrrrrr

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 08/11/2011 09:54

fest I am sorry to hear dear I can imagine what your going through

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/11/2011 09:53

Oh festie damn those temps! But you are right, the stress and emotions that you are feeling right now can delay ov! I would keep temping and SWIing and taking each day as it comes!! The low, low temp could mean that ov is imminent!! Hang in there kid!!!

I had a low temp this morning but still no smiley face on the OPK Angry i know i am only on CD11 but, give me a break please body and ov early for a change!! Grin

iloveberries · 08/11/2011 09:27

well we didn't get round to dtd last night. We were both soooo shattered and agreed that we have really enjoyed all the SWI this month and didn't want to ruin it with him pounding away just for the sake of one last throw of the dice....

we'll see though. I am feeling positive for once about it!

festiemum · 08/11/2011 08:20

God knows, maybe I'm having a delayed ov, I seemed to gear up to it, and then of course, my Dad died. That kind of thing can delay ovulation, can't it? Just have to wait and see..... Angry

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 08/11/2011 06:59

ouch fest hang in there, maybe you did when it was raised but just didnt get the peak reading . fingers crossed

festiemum · 08/11/2011 06:45

Right, I am now officially utterly Pissed off! My temp, although higher than yesterday's pathetic effort is low low low. I feel like I'm never gonna ov again!

Maisie55 · 07/11/2011 20:58

Liliana1 - I hear you with the boob prodding! I am totally doing that too, AF due anytime from Thursday and am so desperately trying not to SS but am sure boobs are a bit sore and have been v emotional this weekend - although we have a lot going on at the moment which could well be the reason for that!

Love the idea of sneaky sesh whilst parents at Church! Grin

louloubellamozzarella · 07/11/2011 20:57

Hi all! ilanthe hope you get on ok tomorrow - sounds like you made the most of today though :)

Hi again floral - nice to have you back Wine

berries - agreed, you can't go wrong with one more SWI for good measure. Think I am at the same point in my cycle as you so will see if we both have enough energy later!

SS watch.... my abdomen has been feeling very strange since Sunday morning... very tender and 'full' - not my stomach but womb area - like just before AF comes. Had my tummy massaged on Sunday and it was horrible - felt like way too much pressure in that area..

I've had today off - lovely to have a bit of a break even if only one day! Here's hoping the next four days whizz by - I want to spend this weekend doing wintery things now that the cold weather is here!

Liliana1 · 07/11/2011 18:07

ilanthe so sorry you've had such a rough time. At least you should have some answers tomorrow. Take care and have a relaxed evening with lots of tea and hugs. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

mooley a quickie while parents are at mass is a must - it's the only way I used to get any action when I lived at home!!

Not started ss yet OK honestly, I'm only about 4 days po but have been having a subtle prod of the boobs to see if they are sore yet! (They will be from all the prodding soon Grin)

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 07/11/2011 15:33

Oh Ilanthe get well soon Thanks Brew Biscuit sorry that you are having a rough time of it at the moment!!! We are here if you need to unload!!

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 07/11/2011 15:18

Ilanthe rest up hun so sorry with what u are going through.

mooley I hear you... I know I shouldn't be so impatient being only 29 but I want a bucket load of kids (that's how I described it to my GP after six cycles of bfn) And might I add I never thought I be like this I thought I be the London commuter til I retire at 50. Now every month I think about SWI and reading up on fertility studies.

Ilanthe · 07/11/2011 14:53

Afternoon ladies.

I was sent home from the hospital this morning without any of my procedures carried out as they were very concerned about my bleeding, which has got very heavy, and pain, which spread overnight into my back, shoulders and legs. I have had some bloods taken and have an appointment tomorrow morning at the EPU for an ultrasound. It seems that they suspect miscarriage but want to rule out ectopic. My cautery, etc will be rescheduled.

I was back home by 9am and have taken my mind off it by dosing myself up on paracetemol, picking my DS up from nursery (where he was elbow deep in messy play and consequently somewhat disappointed by my arrival Grin) and meeting a friend for coffee and lunch. Home now with a napping DS and I'm going to have a cup of tea and put my feet up.

Mooley - my DH's parents are RC and we have used their absence at religious events to get some action in. Grin

Thanks to everyone else who has been nice to me!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 07/11/2011 14:43

berries - yes I am i had a name change as i didn't really like GTR and wanted to be more creative!!! Grin

iloveberries · 07/11/2011 14:33

mooley - are you GTR? did i miss something??!!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 07/11/2011 13:39

so far so good egg just pre-occupied with TTC and wanting to be pg soooooo much!!! It's very distracting! Can't think of anything else at the moment!!! I know i will only get worse when it does eventually happen!!! Grin

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 07/11/2011 13:27

Welcome Floral hope everyones having a stress free day.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 07/11/2011 12:52

WOOOHOOO Floral great to have you back!!

Rusulka lol!!! I have been doing that a lot too; to the last Harry Potter and to the BBC version of Emma yesterday. Then again last night whilst listening to Bruce Forsythe singing!!! Blush

floralflora · 07/11/2011 12:46

Hello all. As some may remember AF showed up here on 20th October and DH and I weren't sure whether to try again or wait til next summer. Anyway we decided to give it another try so I'm back on the July plane!! AF due 17th November. Thanks for having me Thanks.

Rusulka · 07/11/2011 12:39

I just blubbed over a video game trailer! What a wuss...

Then I watched it again a few hours later and did the same thing. Can't SS though, as only CD5, lol!

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 07/11/2011 08:56

-can always tell when someones on there phone, they auto correct shagging

eggandtoastedsoldiers · 07/11/2011 08:55

fest look at you, rebel shabbily when your patents aren't home. lol it's amazing how batty I have become. I give my DH lunch money during the week (yes you heard right) and because we have been ED I mentioned that I throw in an extra fiver today... So yes my DH mentions in bed last night after dtd that he's getting an really good sandwich tomorrow. He is never going to let this joke die.

festiemum · 07/11/2011 08:18

Egg Charting 4 mo, only temping the last two.

Berries sounds like you've done plenty tbh. I think you've got it covered!

Mooley - :o at going at it while parents are at Mass!!!!!

festiemum · 07/11/2011 08:16

Difficult, isn't it?! I mean, we could be really optimistic, say I ov-ed CD14, and today is a lovely 5dpo implantation dip!!! But, realistically, I think you're probably right, though my CM and CP would suggest ov's already happened! Who knows? We SWI-ed last night, so I'm hoping I've got it covered. Got to pick my brother up today; he's staying tonight, and we're going to help clear my Dad's flat tomorrow, so lots of driving today and tomorrow. Think I may have to hope we've done all we can this month!

Another thing. Because we SWI-ed, I slept naked, and woke up feeling quite cold. Having googled it; this can mess with your temps, sending them lower, so between that and the alcohol, God only knows what's going on! Hmm
