I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

Oh bugger, sorry AF arrived Have but glad your DH has his appointment soon and I'm sure things will happen after that.

LauraPalmer · 31/10/2011 13:16

hello luffly FaithBaybee I just wanted to send you an un-BESHly big hug. (and give an extra hard jab in the gut to that stoopid droid)

flixy102 · 31/10/2011 07:51

Sorry to hear af got you have. Like your DH I'm waiting on an appointment to get my prolactin levels sorted and I'm obviously going to get well and truly upduffed once that's sorted so we can join the (normal prolactin level) brooking threads together!! Grin

possiblemaybebaby · 31/10/2011 06:49

So sorry to hear that Have

Can't wait to see you back rat smacking soon x

Biscuitsandtea · 31/10/2011 06:46

I have that in writing now Smile

Good luck xx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:45

I'm confident I'll get upduffed once his hormone levels are sorted. Once he's on treatment I'll rejoin the brooking thread biscuits! That's a promise! :)

Oh Have I'm so sorry SadSad

We're still all rooting for you and now at least you can get in with your dh's appt etc. We'd love to hear how you get on though - feel free to drop in to the brooking thread and update us.

Thinking if you Thanks xx

Northey · 31/10/2011 06:37

I am sure they will. It's amazing how quickly things can happen once an underlying problem is solved.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:25

Yeah I'm ok. Disappointed. More annoyed than anything - why such an unusual cycle? So long? Why start today when I have to go to work when it could have come at the weekend when I could chill out?! Angry
Just think though, DH's appointment is within the cycle. I'm hopeful things will move forward from that.

Northey · 31/10/2011 06:17

Oh bollocks. I'm really sorry. Are you ok?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:09

PieMistress · 30/10/2011 21:58

Another whoop whoop from me!

Northey · 30/10/2011 21:54

Yay! Leave your cervix alone now. Do not upset anything at all. In fact, don't even breathe too heavily.

Fingers crossed for another bloodless day tomorrow. And then for 8 1/2 more months after that.

Munkiii · 30/10/2011 21:39

Excellent news have
Grin here too!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 21:28

I think I am the exception rather than the rule. The radiologist did say it would have hurt me more than most because my cervix was particularly narrow and he had to push it in. Also I am a wuss.

I haven't had a baybee and found the HSG painless. I did take 2 nurofen beforehand though as I had been warned about the pain. I got zero. I felt the speculum, I didn't feel anything more than you would at a smear test when the put the catheter in and I only knew the dye had gone in when I saw it come out of the ends of the tubes on the screen. I was pleasantly surprised! I had no pains afterwards either.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 18:51

Ok, ok a) I've only been checking it when I've been in the loo and b) I wash my hands with soap afterwards!!! But yes.I will stop. Promise even thought it's a tad addictive

OP posts:
Northey · 30/10/2011 17:59

Leave. It. Alone.

And wash your hands.

Biscuitsandtea · 30/10/2011 17:55

Or at least stop poking it when you're with your student tomorrow Wink

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 17:49

Cheers honey. Yeah, I have to go to work and concentrate, af or not! Should be busy and I have a student working with me, so that will help!
Need to stop poking at my cervix now.

Northey · 30/10/2011 17:32

See how you feel tomorrow morning, but you might feel better for putting it all out of your head for a couple of days, like biccies says. We're all rooting for you, whether it happens this month or after the prolactin is sorted.
