I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

I am really, really disappointed for you lovely.I think go with the stupid riculous concept of an anovulatory cycle but I will hold onto the glimmer of hope and venture down the path to madness with you... xxx

CupcakesAndCocktails · 03/11/2011 14:45

Oh Have sorry. It's so cruel that you still don't really know what has happened. I'm still brooking for you though. I think it's sensible to wait until the cheap pee sticks and to think of it as anovulatory so as not to get too disappointed. I'm v glad your DH's appointment is soon.

Big hugs x

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 13:34

Aww you guys will make me blub :)

Sod's law that you stopped charting! Well, it certainly sounds like it could be a late ov leading to implantation bleeding. I do hope so - I second Carrie - you will be a marvellous mother and I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Deffo try another cheapy just to be sure and enjoy your pampering!

CarrieInAnotherBabi · 03/11/2011 12:08

have Sad so sorry, at least its not lon till dhs appointment, then hopefully you can get the ball rolling.

when you do have a baby, its going to be such a lucky baby to be wanted so much im sure your going to be wonderful parents.

enjoy your spa treatments.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 10:03

Generic ironically enough, I stopped charting because I thought with DH's health problems there was no chance of me getting pregnant - has been nice not to wake at 6am on weekends! How much do I wish I'd charted this cycle!? I guess it's still possible I ovulated late, it was implantation and only the cheapy was sensitive enough to show a line. Alternatively, it could be an anovulatory cycle with a late and unusuallt light af. I will console myself that it's the latter and poa - cheapy- s when they arrive ignoring the nausea I'm experiencing and putting it down to the blinding headache I've got
Happoli on Saturday I have a day of pampering -eyebrows, hair and a full body massage :) I seriously can't wait!

Definitely (with the pm'ing), will be in touch. X

GenericDietCola · 03/11/2011 09:29

So sorry Have I hope your bleed was implantation and it's just too early (maybe you ovulated late - do you still chart?).

Either way, good that DH's appointment is so soon and I really wish you the best of luck with TTC.

Munkiii · 03/11/2011 09:13

I am sorry have good luck with the appointment.

scarletfingernail · 03/11/2011 09:05

Sorry to read your update Have Sad

Purplebuns · 03/11/2011 08:51

Sorry Have :(
Hopefully this is a sneak preview of things to come, I had my bfp a couple of cycles after a chem preg (after months of nothing) so I think your body is at least gearing up. Best of luck :)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 08:15

Yes once DH is sorted I'll be back to brooking! Jemima feel free to PM to swap more details!

Morning faith, sorry to hear about that. As ever you are being such a strong and positive lady, I have much respect and admiration for you! I hope your appointment in a few weeks go's well (we can exchange notes, we have ours a week on Friday). Hopefully you will get some answers then. Take care.

TheLittleFriend · 03/11/2011 08:04

sorry have. don't let it get you down though, you're on track with your dh's appointments etc, so it's onwards and upwards hey?

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 07:58

Oh Have I am so sorry to hear that, I am still keeping everything crossed and brooking like a crazy lady that you get the outcome you deserve x

Amonstercooper · 03/11/2011 07:23

I'm sorry to hear it, have.

TheScarlettPimpernel · 03/11/2011 06:58

Oh Have Sad

You won't recognise me, as I'm a serial namechanger, but we used to hang out on the same thread and I have been following this and rooting for you. I'm sorry matey - am stroking your hair through the screen AND I am going to keep on clinging to that shred of hope for you, even though we all know that way madness lies!

Good luck with your DH's appointment. Hope you get some real solid progress SOOON x

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:51

Well only the cheapies agreed if it is very early stages so I've ordered more. Since there was only the faintest of lines on those and they're 10muil I'll wait to retest when they arrive.
I still have a nigglimg abdo pain on my hefty which started when I thought I was ovulating but went on too long. Stopped for a bit but it's still lurking. Stupid, confusing body!

OP posts:
Northey · 03/11/2011 06:39

Bah.I'm sorry.

Not that I want to give false hope, but that really didn't sound like a period to me though, so good idea about testing again when the cheapies arrive. In the meantime, don't forget to shag, just in case you actually are on a fresh cycle.

Lots of love.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:36

Thanks :) for all your support. I hadn't realised how many lovely friends I have on MN.

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 06:35

That sounds like a plan Have - can't hurt to just check that box.

I find it a cruel trick of nature that anovulatory cycles even exist? I mean wtf? What a stupid idea for a body!

Do let us know how your dh's appt goes - I really hope everything can be resolved for you xxxx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:30

Cd200? Ok if I wasn't af, cd 35. But I'm thinking it's cd4.
I'm starting to wonder if it was anovulatory. I need to stock up on cheapies so I'll humour the implantation biscuits by retesting with a cheapo with fmu when they arrive.

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 06:21

I'm so sorry to hear that Sad

If that little bleed was implantation it may be that there's still not enough HCG? Or (sadly) maybe it was anovulatory (sp?) hence the short period Sad

Really feeling for you today xxx

DizzyKipper · 03/11/2011 06:18

Sad What CD are you on?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:15

Ok Boots test with fmu was negative. Think I've come to the end of the road :(
Only 19 days til DH's appointment now though so that's something.
