hey ladies ty for all the congrats
I can safely say i have not brought anymore pee sticks lol, however im looking forward to all your BFP's i just worked out my baby is due on my dads birthday lol

imps congrats on your day 1 :) this is yours xx

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 06/11/2011 11:20

I'm all for pee stick confirmations! I haven't actually added up how many "just checking" pee sticks I racked up, but I used up every single one I had in the house and they kept me going for more than a week after the first one! Getting a BFP never gets old! starts wondering what a pee stick would show if I tried one now

I wonder if Stasi is lying on a hot sandy beach with Mr Stasi by now?! Does anyone know if she's going on honeymoon? And if so where/when? Sorry I'm hopeless at keeping up properly.

I can't seem to remember anything at the moment! I booked an impromptu massage for yesterday because my back's been such a pain recently (pre-existing condition) but even though I was lying around on my bed feeling sorry for myself I completely forgot about the appointment until the receptionist rang me to find out where I was!! I felt very Blush but I rushed in and it was heaven!

Congrats on the first day of your pg Imps! I hope you're taking a nice long look around because this is your last 4 weeks on the ttc thread, you and everyone else WILL be joining us over on the antenatal thread shortly!!

Also big hugs to Solars! We will definitely be No Brooking extra hard on your behalf while you're feeling a little wobbly. Enjoy your weekend and try not to worry (soooooooo much easier said than done!) you'll be celebrating your BFP sooner than you'd ever believe!

p.s. Maybe have I mentioned how totally jealous I am of your little fluff ball!?! I would absolutely love to have a dog but DH wants to wait and now that I'm pg I'm worried we won't be able to get one for YEARS!! (Until our youngest is at least 3!) Sigh. I'm already hatching plans for perhaps getting an older dog who's already housetrained as soon as we move to a bigger house, surely you can have a new older dog and a 1 year old at the same time?! Glad you're having so much fun at the mo, sounds like perfect timing to me because you'll get all the house training out of the way before your cute snuffly LO arrives following your bfp THIS MONTH!

Munkiii · 06/11/2011 11:14

Morning all,

Sorry you are down Solars let us take the brooking strain a while.

Maybe glad your pup was ok last night.

imps as has been said, this is your month for sure! And maybe's

Well, CD37 here 16DPO, no AF.

possiblemaybebaby · 06/11/2011 10:43

Imps congratulations on the first day of your pregnancy, next month is going to be our month. Mark. My. Words.

Your niece sounds adorable, how did you keep a straight face?!

Solars as Imps has said, we will brook for you whilst you have a rest from it. You are more than entitled to wobbly days, we all have them. Hope you are feeling a little better this morning Thanks

No firework-related funzies for me due to the AF-killer in training. Though he didn't bat an eyelid at all the bangs going on outside, which made for a nice chilled out steak-fueled night for Mr Maybe and I Grin

Indeed Imps where is Shiny?

Imps7 · 06/11/2011 09:51

PS Has anyone seen Shiny recently?? Hellooooo Shiny if you're out there...

Imps7 · 06/11/2011 09:22

Jazzy!!! What brilliant news! Congratulations Grin

TheLittleFriend · 05/11/2011 20:52

Oh solars don't worry, we all feel like that sometimes. I find those couple of days when you really feel like af is coming really hard. It doesn't mean she is definitely putting in an appearance though. Remember, almost every pmt symptom is also an early pregnancy symptom. Hope you feel better tomorrow x

CupcakesAndCocktails · 05/11/2011 19:19

Solars sorry to hear you've been feeling down about it all. It's so hard to stay positive especially around certain parts of the month.

We will be brooking for you, and those weird feelings are of course an imminent sign of pregnancy NOT AF!!!

Here's to a better day tomorrow Thanks

Solars · 05/11/2011 16:47

Afternoon ladies, hope you've all been having a lovely day, we've just come back from a lunch with my niece & nephew, they're such cuties!

Congratulations to Stasi on your wedding day Thanks

I've been having such a weird day emotionally but in all honesty think it's due to pmt! Had a massive row with DH coming back from lunch, we have made up now but it's so out of character for me and over something stupid! Just starting to waiver that this really isn't our month again even though af hasn't started but is due to soon. I'm normally ok but just finding it hard to stay positive today Sad

CupcakesAndCocktails · 05/11/2011 15:49

Can't believe I forgot Blush

Happy wedding day to Mr and Mrs Stasi

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

CupcakesAndCocktails · 05/11/2011 15:46

Morning! (well it's morning for me anyway!)

Munki AF better not knock on your door. I agree with Maybe you just need to find an agreeable pee stick Smile

Right im on board for an august baby too, just hope it's not too hot when im giving birth next year as sweat does not look good on me!

Interestingly are people aware that some people actually think august babies can be disadvantaged and purposely try not to conceive by taking a month off. Well here's hoping we all get a group of genius babies next august to prove them wrong!

Scrambled glad you had a lovely day. Your DD sounds so cute having to wear her dress straight away Smile

Jazzy Grin at the 6 tests. I don't blame you for wanting extra proof. I've been ttc for year so I know it's been a long road for you. I'm glad your sticking around to watch us all get our BFPs

possiblemaybebaby · 05/11/2011 14:35

Munk still no AF? This is looking very promising indeed. You just need to find an agreeable pee stick Smile

Popcorn I too am brooking for you like never before. An August baby would be lovely wouldn't it Wink

Scrambled how are you doing?

Musical I am ok thanks, busy with a certain fluff ball, and determined to kick AF's arse next month. I do not appreciate being treated like that, and I have told her so Grin Very excited for you for Monday. Please pop by and tell us how it went. All will be fine, and you will have a lovely wriggly bean Smile

Jazzy Grin at all your pee sticks!! So pleased for you, here's to a quick, morning sickness-free 9 months Wine

ScrambledSmegs · 05/11/2011 14:28

Aargh rubbish phone failed to post earlier! Basic jist was;

Good luck Stasi! Hope you're having a wonderful day, and go on to have a brilliant honeymoon.

Thanks jazzy, I'm sure this will be our month too! You hold her down, I'll sit on her Grin. As long as DH & I manage to stay awake long enough to get it on - from the dates on FF we're going to be on a mid-week SWI-athon. Not the best when working 12-14 hour days in a high pressure environment (him) and cycling 20 miles a day (me).

Munkii ooh, maybe you're one of those mysterious women who don't show a BFP for aaaaages, but are like totally upduffed?! Or maybe the stupid pee sticks are defective.

musicalmrs I was exactly like that with DD - told DH that it was over for that month, we were a bit sad together, then waited for AF to start properly... and waited... and after about a week or so I took a test. Mad, innit?! God luck for monday, hope everything goes well.

PopcornMouse · 05/11/2011 14:11

Jazzy CONGRATULATIONS! You really deserve it. Squueeeeee! :)

Bean I think, maybe 6 weeks or so ago, we had a week where 3 brookers got BFP! This thread it magagical :o

Good luck Stasi!

I've heard mixed reports about internet cheapies, Munkii - some reckon theyre not as sensitive as they say they are. Maybe try again Monday? :)

More EWCM here, so this month's SWI has begun! I am determined not to have a 9th cycle ttc!

Munkiii · 05/11/2011 12:28

Happy wedding day Stasi and have a lovely honeymoon

Congratulations again Jazzy

Well CD36 here 15 DPO and no AF yet.

Had weird craving for proper butter this morning.......

However had a BFN on Fridays Internet cheapie.

jazzy283 · 05/11/2011 09:38

thank you all soo much i have so far taken another 6 hpt lol lol and yes it is a deff BFP lol DH said im not allowed to spend anymore money on pee sticks but this has been the longest 11 mths and i just cant believe it lol xx

stasi have a fantastic day hope the weather is brighter for ur very special day

Scrambled this is your month i got this af witch in check now and im gonna come beat her ass for u ;)

Whats everyone doing today ? im going to bonfire party tonight :)

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 05/11/2011 09:19

Congrats to Jazzy!!!

Also best of luck to Stasi for your big day, I hope everything is perfect (well of course it will be!) and you have a smooth send off for a wonderful honeymoon!

Farfalla it's been such a long road for you already, and I'm so glad you've been given practical useful advice at your appointment. It does sound a little scary, but this will safeguard your next pregnancy! I'm so excited for you. Glad your DH is on board fully as well now.

musicalmrs · 05/11/2011 08:44

Happy wedding day Stasi - hope you have a wonderful day, and enjoy every minute! Be sure to step back and take it in, because it's wonderful having so many people you love in the same place, celebrating something so wonderful - and happens so rarely :)

Hi Maybe, how're you?! So sorry about AF :( Miserable witch! I'm good thank you - very excited about my scan on Monday (and a teeeenny bit worried - I'm sure the proportions will change over the weekend!). How're things with you? :)

Biscuits, I think it was almost exactly a week. Really confused DH - after telling him it arrived and him being very supportive and lovely, then a few days later saying "I've felt odd for the last couple of days, I might take a test to see if I could be pregnant, or if I've caught a weird bug and need to see the doctors", he was most confused!

Obviousy Stasi has a wonderfully exciting weekend ahead.. what's everyone else up to? :) I'm arranging Christmas music for my pupils again... Hmm

Biscuitsandtea · 05/11/2011 07:49

Happy wedding day Stasi GrinGrinGrinGrin

Musical how long after your non-AF did you get your bfp?

possiblemaybebaby · 05/11/2011 07:39

Jazzy that is amazing news, well done for smacking that rat Smile

Musical lovely to see you, how are you?

Glad you ha a productive day Scrambled

Stasi wishing you a very very happy wedding day x

musicalmrs · 04/11/2011 22:42

Congratulations Jazzy!!!

Also, welcome to the suspicious-AF-that-lead-to-a-BFP club. Exactly the same happened to me! I thought she'd come, but she was oddly out of character.. :D

As lovely as the antenatal thread is, there's nothing as lovely and exciting as a BFP - or as some POAS/PIAR nagging ;)

Sorry about all the recent appearances of AF. Revel in the fact it's the last time you'll see her for 9 months :)

ScrambledSmegs · 04/11/2011 22:41

Congratulations Jazzy! Brilliant news!

Am sooo tired Had a lovely time, scoffed lots of nice food and drink, and managed to find some lovely pressies for Christmas. And ilovegorgeous had a sale/last season stall there with mega reductions! Bought DD the cutest dress, which as soon as she saw she insisted on wearing there and then. Over her trackie bottoms Grin.

Has there been another thread with people being disappointed about having boys then? Why is this suddenly so common? As soon as I laid eyes on DD I knew without a doubt that she was the daughter I'd always wanted. But equally if I'd had a boy he would have been the son I'd always wanted. And right now all I want is a baby, don't mind what sex!

I am jolly well going to get pregnant this month and I'll brook no argument.

Thank you Little. I will keep repeating that to myself, it's a great motto.

Solars · 04/11/2011 21:29

YAY Jazzy a BFP!!! Congratulations lovely Grin

Munkiii · 04/11/2011 20:38

Oh and I love the fact the PSEPP (is that right?) people are still about!

Lovely lot that they are.

Munkiii · 04/11/2011 20:37

Massive congrats Jazzy

Farfalla so pleased there was some news you could do something with iyswim from your appointment.

Still no AF here. I give up trying to work it all out. But let's be honest after 16 months to het pg the first time I am not expecting it to be a swift process this time either!
