farfallarocks · 25/10/2011 14:03

Oh I am so the wrong person to ask, POAS POAS!
I am keeping everything crossed generic!!
Regardless, a longer LP is still excellent news.

shinyblackgrape · 25/10/2011 14:03

Just seen 13 days PO.

POAS NOOOOOWWWW!

shinyblackgrape · 25/10/2011 14:02

Oooohhhhh!!! DO it!!

I'm so impressed that you have held back til now. How many days post ovulation are you?

PopcornMouse · 25/10/2011 13:59

:o

do it do it do it

GenericDietCola · 25/10/2011 13:59

Oh Popcorn you're ace!

GenericDietCola · 25/10/2011 13:58

Well, yesterday I thought if AF still wasn't here by Wednesday morning I would test then, but now I'm wibbling because I'm quite enjoying the thought that I might be and if it's a BFN I'll be gutted. I have one cheapy test left, what do you reckon?

I was planning to wait until Saturday!

PopcornMouse · 25/10/2011 13:58

POAS!

PopcornMouse · 25/10/2011 13:58

Omg omg omg Generic, you are sooooo pg :o

CakePigeon · 25/10/2011 13:55

Brooking for you scrambled

Ooh generic very exciting! When can we persuade you into testing?

GenericDietCola · 25/10/2011 13:49

I'm still brooking for you Scrambled. Implantation back at you?

My spotting has stopped, in fact none since yesterday morning and that really was only on wiping (brown not red). This happened last month though (but red blood), so I will not be fooled. Although, I'm now 13 dpo and last LP was only 12 (to proper AF, not to spotting).

musicalmrs · 25/10/2011 13:36

Brooking for you Scrambled.

Maybe and far, I also got the pregnancy ads as soon as I got married. Along with ads about jobs for pianists, oboists and composers (all things mentioned on my profile). Somewhat annoying.

May have to download that Popcorn!

ScrambledSmegs · 25/10/2011 13:24

Hmm. Spotting. Sad

.

Ooh, your spotting stopped, Generic? Implantation bleed?! Smile

PopcornMouse · 25/10/2011 13:24

Facebook gives you a cookie that tracks what webpages you visit while you're logged in to facebook (not just while you're viewing it - the whole time you're logged in!)

You can download an app to stop it, though: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2052770/Facebook-Disconnect-app-downloaded-152-000-times-protect-users-privacy.html

possiblemaybebaby · 25/10/2011 12:38

Oooh, Far my facebook is plastered with pregnancy adverts! They only started after I got married. Sneaky facebook!!

farfallarocks · 25/10/2011 12:30

popcorn you are quite right!!

I also get the 'Are you pregnant' ads from Aptamil on facebook, they must be tracking my movements or summat.

PopcornMouse · 25/10/2011 12:19

Ok, mini AIBU here - I also get annoyed that Mumsnet posts adverts with big fat pregnant women ("10% off maternity wear!") in the conception forum. AIBU to think that's a bit insensitive? Do they post the same ads in the losses forum?! Shock

musicalmrs · 25/10/2011 11:41

Popcorn and Cake, feeling similarly with regard to Facebook. I have a friend on there who posted her scan pictures a couple of weeks ago, and now CONSTANTLY updates about being pregnant. It's driving me barmy. Personally, we've kept the news off of Facebook - although it might appear at some point in some form. We also told DH's sister (HUGE Facebooker) that she could talk about it in real life, but any whisper on Facebook (we have relatives struggling to TTC, if nothing else) and we'd kill her. It's worked so far :D

Farfalla - I would also be driving DH mad if it weren't for the lovely rat smacking ladies, on both threads!

Generic, Cake and Scrambled - it's not over until she's here! and even then it's not always over. Imps, it's definitely ironic BFP time for you..!

Should be working. Have done all the tidying and ironing in order to avoid it. Planning some baking (chocolate chip cookies and some rolls maybe?) to prevent working too much this afternoon :D

CakePigeon · 25/10/2011 11:39

Glad to hear you are feeling better far

imps sorry I missed your earlier post. Sounds like worst possible timing to me Hmm hope things settle down for you

farfallarocks · 25/10/2011 11:14

Morning brookers,

Feeling so much better this morning, thank you so much for all your comments. Gawd I love this thread. I think DH would have divorced me by now if it weren't for y'all sorting me out and giving me somewhere to vent! I am trying to maintain a calm exterior with him so that he still finds me sexy and will bonk me at the relevant times.
You are all so very kind.

Boo to all the blinking AF visits here :(

popcorn and cake huge hugs, facebook sucks doesn't it. I actually can't believe how many times facebook is updated by some people with trivial rubbish. i am not being a bitter old hag honest, it would annoy me on any subject!

scrambled argh is all I can say, I don't know about temping but is there anyway it can be wrong? Cld the drop be an implantation dip or summat?

generic , fellow tilted womber, you WILL get your 2nd baby, I know it, and I bet you were not at all smugaroo at all.

p.s. twas me with the booze free LP extention, but don't worry, it was not totally booze free I just cut down a bit. I normally have 1/2 glasses every night and then a lot at the weekend!

imps you are so getting your ironic BFP this month, great that the sexing is happening. DH is a bit off games at the moment and its quite nice not to be stressing about it as we are not trying. He is not going to know what hit him come November though.................

shiny its definitely first day of full flow, spotting does not count

ninja how are you feeling, any symptoms yet?

beedle thanks for giving me your virgin brooking :)

scream hope you are having a lovely and relaxing pregnancy and thanks for popping in to say hi

possible I also sense a lunchtime trip to House of Fraser, woo hoo

GenericDietCola · 25/10/2011 11:07

Oh Imps chin up, love.

GenericDietCola · 25/10/2011 11:06

Oh Popcorn I'm sorry you're finding it tough. You will be next, I'm sure. FB is hard - so many pregnancies at the moment and I agree with Cake that the stealth boasters are the worst.

Scrambled do you know when you ovulate? Are you sure your LP is short or could you be an early popper? I have short cycles too, but I think I'm quite an early egg-layer (day 12 this month).

Good Lord! Cake and Maybe are right! None of us (Cake, Scrambled and me) have AF yet so why are we all down - WE ARE STILL PREGGO until she turns up to rain on the parade. In fact, I think my auntie pulled up in her taxi, took one look at the bouncers on the door and turned straight back round again. She's not ventured in properly yet...

possiblemaybebaby · 25/10/2011 10:31

Popcorn I know where you are coming from, just want to give them a slap

Cake, Scrambled and Generic if the witch isn't here yet, then you are all still in with a fighting chance. I am not taking any crap from AF this month, do you hear me???

Hurrah for that egg Imps and surely the month where you don't think you've cracked it, will indeed be the month for that BFP. I laugh in the face irony Imps, oh yes I do.
