Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 10:26

Solars - no symptoms? Definitely preggo - yay! Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 10:25

Farfalla you poor thing :(

Crisps and full fat coke are the way forward

Solars · 28/10/2011 10:24

Oh Little you poor love, this ttc business can be really tough can't it. I don't think anyone would think bad of you for not wanting your referral just yet, at the end of the day you have to do what's right for you. I've heard so many good things about acupuncture and you're right to give that some time. I'm sorry this sounds like a cliched thing to say but your time will come. Hope you can see this time as the steps you're taking in getting your bfp Thanks

Have to admit Gregg Wallace does absolutely nothing for me Shock. A sweet story though. I'm quite envious a lot of you have met your partners very young, I met my DH in my mid 30s!

Scrambled I'm looking forward to your confirmation tomorrow.

Good luck with the MW tomorrow Musical

Beedle hope you don't mind me asking but where are you MNing from?

Hope everyone else with colds & illnesses are feeling better today.

Ok so i'm in my 2ww now and nothing to report symptoms wise....

farfallarocks · 28/10/2011 10:23

Oh little I am so sorry to hear you are down and I agree you just want to get the cycle back to normal just to you know, be in with a chance, I agree!

Totally understand not wanting to medicalise quite yet, you must do what you feel is right for you.
Hugs.

scrambled have you POAS yet you loon?

I am soooooo brutally hungover, I have no idea how. Well I do, I drank way too much wine last night with a friend, I was not even out, just at home. We were up until 1am. Ouch. Toast and marmite has not even touched the sides of it I feel appalling.

maybe what about you?

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 10:17

And, no, I won't be training up a new husband after mine said this morning as he left 'have a nice day and don't worry about doing too much work'.

Now given DS is at nursery and I'm supposed to do all the cleaning etc today (and I have been SLACK recently) he's done himself a few favours there Grin

One odd thing this morning, though, I did find a half eaten sandwich in the middle of our drive this morning? Hmm

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 10:09

Can't wait for your confirmation tomorrow Scrambled - remember to make sure you pick an agreeable pee stick when shopping :)

And look forward to hearing how you get on with the mw Musical :)

musicalmrs · 28/10/2011 10:06

Biscuits, agree about the effort thing - took me long enough to train this one ;) (met when we were 15!). So many of us who met our DH's young.

Scrambled, how exciting! I have the midwife coming at 10am tomorrow, so will be up bright and early, checking the house looks respectable (bit of a clean freak!) and hanging on for your news!

What a lovely story about him and his wife :) Made me cry - there's the hormones again!

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 09:47

I wondered that Scrambled - well I didn't exactly wonder if he cheated but there were a few comments that he had been 'tamed' and calmed down his wold side.... Hmm

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 09:46

Popcorn I must confess that I was a bit Hmm about the effort involved in finding 3 people to marry - I could never be bothered to break in a new husband after I've had this one for so long :) (we met when we were 18)

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 09:45

Hmm... but didn't GW cheat constantly in his previous marriages? I dunno, I hope they're happy together, but I don't think it's a fairytale by any means.

Popcorn that's lovely! 14? So cute!

PopcornMouse · 28/10/2011 09:38

That's really lovely!! I suppose at forty-something you have probably tried and failed in love so many times that you're ready to grab something good when it comes along not that I would know, I met DH when I was 14

NinjaChipmunk · 28/10/2011 09:37

ooh scrambled how exciting!

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 09:37

I mean Biscuits. Sorry.

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 09:36

Phew! Thanks *Biscuits8, feeling much better now :)

mrs, probably tomorrow. I'm going to the supermarket today so will pick up some pee-sticks then.

NinjaChipmunk · 28/10/2011 09:25

aw little sorry to hear you feel like that, I hope the acupuncture helps but also I hope that you find out what it is that causes such a short cycle. No-one is going to be upset if you don't take the referral, its got to be the right time for you to do it. Does your gp have any clue at all what might cause it?

Well, there is a whole lot I never knew about gregg wallace! Its quite a sweet story I suppose, if a little bit of an odd place to meet!

We have a busy day of seeing friends today. Not sure whether to tell my nct group about the bfp yet or not.....

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 09:13

And his wife gave up her job and moved from Cumbria to Kent after four months!!! Blimey....

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 09:11

(sound of Smegs passing out in shock).

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 09:02

The link worked Smile - good effort Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 08:51

Oh yes he did! Here.

And if that link works I will be stunned, cos I'm on my phone.

musicalmrs · 28/10/2011 08:49

Now you mention it, I quite like the name Brooke/Brook... :P

I bought lots of lollies and chewy things for trick or treaters Biscuits, purely because I knew if they were chocolates that myself or DH would scoff them! The lollies I find less tempting, and will only go for if when I need a sugar fix, so thought them safer..!

Little, brooking no argument that things improve for you. How long have you been on the B vits for? I think it's always worth giving these things some time - and I've heard wonderful things about acupuncture too.

On the subject of Greg Wallace, he does nothing for me I'm afraid... though thanks Maybe and Scrambled - I now have Buttery Biscuit Base running through my head..

Scrambled - when will you be POAS/PIAR/some other similar vessel? All sounding very exciting...

Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2011 08:39

OMG,, did GW really meet his wife on twitter? That's odd......

Hope the trick or treaters hurry up - I've started on the chocolates I bought for them and I only bought chocs rather than kids sweets because I don't want to be left with a load of lollipops that I don't like Confused

PopcornMouse · 28/10/2011 08:21

FF is working again but I can't get it to add my latest chart to my overlay :(

PopcornMouse · 28/10/2011 08:17

rotfl @ Brooke Ramekin! I triple dare ya :D

Temp super high today but I'm only CD5 (or something - FF is down Hmm ) and I'm ill ill ill

Little I'm so sorry you're feeling low, this ttc can be a real rollercoaster can't it? I totally respect your decision to stick with things til Christmas, and I'm really pleased that your GP is willing to refer you earlier if you so choose senses an ironic bfp might be on the cards :o

ScrambledSmegs · 28/10/2011 08:03

Morning Beedle. Looking good on the temps, BFP next week no doubt! I laughed at you not liking Greg Wallace much - before yesterday I'd never heard of anyone finding him attractive ( except some woman he met on twitter and then married). And I thought I was odd Grin

Morning Biscuits. How are you today?

Right. Temps gone freaky today and I can't get a reading (34.9? 38.2? What the hell?!). Will try again after breakfast. However, important thing is still no AF! Im on CD26 which is my longest ever so even if she does turn up I'm pretty happy Smile.

BeedleTheBard · 28/10/2011 06:54

Well not as early a riser as I look, as I'm an hour ahead of you so its nearly 8am here!

AF is not due on Thursday, though I might test on Tues or Wed if my temps are still looking good [hgrin]
