It occurred to me, whilst doing a 20-minute headstand after SWI this afternoon (for gravity-assisted conception) Blush, then getting up and downing loads of nettle tea and red clover capsules, that this TTC thing has caused some strange behaviours....would love to hear about the weirdest things others have done in the baby-making quest! Don't be shy!

Honestly it worked for me. I've kept it for when we ttc #2 next year

I also used preseed as it's meant to provide a friendly environment for sperm

Good luck ladies

The yams or the Mooncup? Grin

The Mooncup is easy to use, I have been using it for ages. You can get them at Boots - one lasts 10 years and you never have to buy tampons etc again! There is loads of information on the internet about them. They take a little getting used to, but they really are great.

DH is going to think I am bonkers waving the Mooncup around whilst standing on my head, as I prefer he doesn't see the Mooncup normally - secret womens' business...

Squirell, are they easy to use?? You will be able to join the circus with all these new tricks!

Slainte · 24/10/2011 22:15

buggerlugs82 missed your later posts, fingers crossed for a BFP and you might not need the crystals! [hgrin]

nearlymumofone · 24/10/2011 22:13

Pudding are you serious about the mooncup? Never ever would have thought of that. Best put that on my shopping list!!

Squirrel77 · 24/10/2011 22:11

Wow! So many new things to try Grin.

I have found yummy ways of preparing yams BTW.

The Mooncup is an interesting idea, as I already use one for AF. Combined with a headstand I'll definitely be getting a BFP this month!

Buggerlugs, fingers crossed it's your bfp!!!

Pudding, I go on bounty too and a few girls have just got there bfp after using moon cups!!! Congratulations!

Slainte · 24/10/2011 22:01

buggerlugs82 I thought the rose quartz was meant to be for fertility.....

My mum bought some for me that would have been noticeable in Dolly Parton's bra!! I had to scour crystal shops looking for flat pieces. I'll look to see if I have any spare and if I do I'll post some to you (though we're in the middle of moving house so don't hold your breath Grin)

Pudding2be · 24/10/2011 21:54

Sorry this is TMI but I used a mooncup to keep everything in after dtd Blush.

It worked after 2 yrs ttc; my 8 week old is asleep next to me Smile

Yes I also did the Yams to try and get twins. They are very dry and tasteless and the only supermarket that sells them is Asda for some reason. Also loads of tapioca (made from yam stuff apparently). Ate it every day for breakfast. Was fucking disgusting will never touch it again.

Reflex has helped stopping me getting obsessed! It took over my life after my miscarriage, but much betternow! Saying that, I'm at the start of the 2ww so there's plenty of time to get obsessed thus month!

They come to my house. There are only to reflexologists in my area as we are a little out in the sticks. She also specialises in fertility! It is a lot of money though!

I find preseed makes things a little more comfortable when we are dtd so much plus it's meant to help!!! The more help the better!

Ditto with the shoulder stands... and prayer!!! Now 7 wks pg but still going with the latter!

Figaro82 · 24/10/2011 19:47

Some of the things we do are not only weird, but cost a fortune!!! I'm having reflexology twice a month (£80 ), use CB digital ovulation tests (£18 pm), vitamins (£8 pm), use preseed (about £10 pm) and then spend a load on pregnancy rests!!! Roll on that bfp to give my bank balance s boost! Lol!

Mine were acupuncture, wearing a rose quartz crystal in my bra everey day and using Rose and Geranium shower gel. Happily, something worked and I am now sitting here with my 10 month old DD [hgrin]

I'm now back to doing it all again!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/10/2011 17:10
