Yep!

Currently 4 days overdue for af basing it on my previious cycle of 35 days so waiting till I'm 7 days late, have been getting what feels like af pains tho :/ and have had what looks like ewcm last week and now just a clear dischargge, I do feel very (tmi alert!) Moist down there tho which isn't usual for me. Not testing sooner as the last month has been incredibly stressful so am convinced I've just skipped a period!

Good luck to everyone testing sat! x

carriedababi · 18/10/2011 09:55

just checking in, i managed to not test today.

i did have a very vivid dream, that the egg was implanting, i could actually feel it drilling in, i was have mild tummy pains. felt lkike what i would imagine implatation feels like.

its weird have these dreams, even when i try tonot think about it, i must be thinking about it, having all the dreams.

already been thinking about next month, just wondered if i will ttc, as just thinking if i get pg next month then that will be due in aug, id preer a september baby so you get longer with them.
before tthey start school.
but then i think can't really afford to miss another months trying....

will probably just ttc anyway, but if its another bfn next month, guess that will cushion the blow.....

oh well heres still hoping for this month.

I won't test tomo anyway cos I am working plus I think tomo would prob give a bfn too. It's just so frustrating isn't it? Yes, one day at a time.

We won't test tomorrow!

Repeat!

We won't test tomorrow!

carriedababi · 17/10/2011 22:04

ilikeyoursleeves dont worry its just way to early, theres still hope yet, we are both naughty!

lets try and not test tomorrow eh, shall we aim to take it a day at a time?

ilikeyoursleeves · 17/10/2011 21:46

Argh why can't I listen to my own advice? After spending the evening on google, I decided to poas as some folk seem to get bfps early. It's a bfn :( though I am only 9 dpo. So I am now going to torture myself wondering if the fet failed or if it's really just too early to test.

Argh. Away to kick myself up the arse.

carriedababi · 17/10/2011 20:29

thanks, the fuuny thing is when i get af, i feel a sense of relief, its like then pain of hoping for something is over for a short time, then it cranks up again.

sorry for being so mellow dramatic! i know others that been through much much worse than i have, i just fin the waiting so unbearable sometimes.

just need to keep busy i guess

Oh carrie, it ain't over til it's over, stay positive & diot test again til the weekend! I empathize though as I was sooooo close to testing today too. I knew that if I got a bfn I'd be both disappointed & would doubt the result anyway & feel worse.

This 2 ww is so hard isn't it Confused

carriedababi · 17/10/2011 19:33

i took a test this am, no hint of a line, i know its too early but i dremt i got a bfp so i had to do it

witchyhills · 17/10/2011 11:04

I'm annoyed now, day 28 is Monday not Saturday.
I wasn't thinking of testing now, just maybe a day or 2 early.

Every bfp I've had I have tested a couple of days late, just circumstance
I really don't think for me anything would show up early
I really don't think there is any point on testing, this week just drives me crazy, figuring out any twinge, or if boobs are sore. But they are all symptoms of period too.
I just remember with my bfp's I still felt like my period was coming

ilikeyoursleeves · 17/10/2011 10:22

Shouting at me even, d'oh

ilikeyoursleeves · 17/10/2011 10:21

If you didnt know when you ov'd then you'd just be putting yourself through more mental torture if you get a bfn today. I keep telling myself that too, I am 9 dpo today with 2 tests during at me from the bathroom argh! I nearly poas earlier but I know if it's a bfn it would be worse cos I'd think i'd tested too early. So I'll help you not test if you help me lol! I think I will test on wed, eek

witchyhills · 17/10/2011 09:46

Been trying for 3 years, 2 miscarriages, we have one DS (4) who was conceived first month of trying!

If I ovulated a couple of days earlier do you think that means I have a better chance of an earlier bfp?

I shouldn't be thinking about this. I'm just setting myself up for more disappointment.

LittleDragon · 16/10/2011 23:33

don't have a bodycare near. i'll see if he'l get me some online. all the money goes in his account atm so it has to be him that does it

carriedababi · 16/10/2011 22:40

bodycare sell them cheap too. 3 for 99p

OP posts:
ilikeyoursleeves · 16/10/2011 20:00

Little dragon, I just bought 2 tests off ebay for £2 or something. Can't believe I've never bought them online before

LittleDragon · 16/10/2011 19:12

I do voluntary work 7 days a week to keep me busy and plus don't do home test as gets too expensive. I have to wait till i'm at least 7 days past my af date for docs tho so might persuade DP to get a test this week

ilikeyoursleeves · 16/10/2011 16:33

Witchyhills, how long have you been ttc? Hopefully you wont need to have ivf, but dont be scared if you do, I had a fairly good experience. If theres anything you want to ask about it please do!

Carrie, I've not had any baths since my fet though I had a lovely hot one the night before it cos I heard hot baths aren't good in pregnancy. Showers are fine, otherwise i' d be honking by now lol. Resist the temptation to test today, far too early yet! Hold off a bit longer, we can do it! I've had more twinges today but nothing else. Though I have been really narky too.

carriedababi · 16/10/2011 15:02

sleeves, are you allowed to have baths while on this waiting period?
or do you have to just have showers.

ive been gettign tummy pains but highup under the ribs nowhere near the uterus.

not feeling tired or achey today, seriously tempted to do a test, by it would proabably be a total waste as im not due on for another week!

this waiting is really hard work

OP posts:
witchyhills · 16/10/2011 12:02

Yes sleeves that really fascinating, fingers crossed for you. We are just starting on ivf route, had some basic tests, no results yet, so not sure what the problem could be.
But I had happy faces with the opk's and lots of other ovulating symptoms, so you never know
I'm not sure I have the strength/patience for ivf

I have some lower pelvic pain, think that's a bad sign really. Nothing else
I hate not knowing what my body is doing

PopcornMouse · 16/10/2011 10:08

wow sleeves that's fascinating. Yes, plenty of women get pg and still partake of their hoovering duties darnit!

I'm going to London for the day with a friend =_=
This week will be mad at work too, so only Saturday to worry about lol

ilikeyoursleeves · 16/10/2011 09:46

typing on my phone so apologies for typos!

ilikeyoursleeves · 16/10/2011 09:44

My current ds's look like twins 2 years apart so it would be funny if this one looks similar too! Yes it's weird to think it's a child frozen in time, just chance that ds1 was implanted 4 years shop rather than this one. We have another 4 frozen embryos so we could theoretically try another 2 times iud this one fails (they are frozen in batches of 2).

Re rest, I went to bed for a few hours after the fet on tue, then was off work on wed as I usually am but I still had to look after the boys. Then I was working thu & fri so I'm just carrying on as normal really. Was doing hoovering & everything yesterday. I reckon if it's going to happen it will happen as so many women get pg & do all sorts of activity before they get their bfp.

Re symptom spotting, I have been quite tired & yest I noticed a lot of twinges in my lower abdomen. Anyone else having symptoms yet?

carriedababi · 16/10/2011 09:31

Oh wow, really really hope it works for you. That will be fasinating seeing what the baby would look like./ be like considering they would be siblings from the same batch. Bit like. Child frozen in time. Very interesting. Do you have to rest a lot or try andcarry on as normal? How many Fe do you have?

OP posts:
ilikeyoursleeves · 16/10/2011 09:15

We had ivf in 2007 after 5 years ttc, our ds1 arrived in oct 07 then we amazingly & unexpectedly got pg naturally with ds2 who is now 2.3 years old. We were fortunate enough to get frozen embryos from our original ivf so this recent FET is using one of our frozen babies from the same batch as when ds1 was created! So it will be so weird if it works as it will be ds1's ' twin' if you know what I mean?

The great thing about a fet is that it's been completely natural, medication wise. They have just followed my natural cycle & all I needed was a few blood tests. Unlike last time when I was pumped full of hormones & was a crazy woman!

carriedababi · 16/10/2011 08:36

Oh yes distraction tha t a good idea, what can we all do to distract ourselves until next week? Where are you going on Sunday popcorn?
