Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Lots of love, Pip xx

Hmmm, obviously busy Wink.

I've just come in from having dinner with the family. Decided wine was the best painkiller for my headache, and yes it worked!

Fishpants · 27/10/2011 17:51

Starting to freak out - can't find my OPK's I used this morning, the cheapies. I have a million of them so don't want to use any of the name brand ones if I can help it - where the heck did I put them this morning???? I've checked my car, my bag, near my bed, the computer, the bathroom - they can't have got up and walked off? All my other TTC stuff is in one place, but they are missing! Confused Confused

Fishpants · 27/10/2011 17:16

I guess I'm in the 2ww now - how maddening and exciting! Am still checkin every tiny sign for possible preg symptoms - I have had random heartburn today which only ever had twice in my life and feeling a bit sick. Could have been the 12 biscuits yesterday though Blush

I'm also 24 Grin ... And a half! When's your birthday wanna?

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:55

Yes, sorry I didnt explain very well.

Wish mine was over. I have a headache that's making me feel a wee bit sick and not sure what to take. Argh

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 16:47

Ah...so the 2 weeks between OD and AF? I see :) Thanks Wine

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:44

2 Week wait (2ww)

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 16:31

2ww????

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 16:18

I'm also in the 2ww - I'm actually quite glad that the pressure's off a little bit!

I had a coil fitted and it was awful. For 3 weeks I bled like mad and felt like I was in labour... eventually the gp took it out Sad

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:18

BTW, for the 24 year olds... You really are not too young! My 2nd was 2 by then Blush

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:16

Secret Sparkle (26) CD 13, OD 27/10, AF 11/11
wannabemum24 (24) CD 17, OD 24/10 (ish), AF 07/11
Cauldron (33 - although birthday on Tues ) CD 19, OD 22/10, AF 5/11 (ish)
Vinolover (29) CD 10, OD 22/10, AF 06/11

Going by this I am in the 2ww. Time for a rest until nest month ;)
This is my first cycle since coil removal so it could all change. My OD is when I got a + on my OPK so it could have been monday or even tues.

Prenatal vitamins always made me gassy! I don't take iron very well and they have it in them.
Im taking seven seas B vitamin complex (approved today by gp), which has folic acid in them and im also taking zinc, so far it's agreeing with me which in itself is amazing!

The coil was fine wannabe. My first one was fitted wrong and I had to be put under last year to have it removed and replaced (gynae had a good look with a camera up there whilst he was at it, so thats good). This one was fine and DH couldn't feel it. Your poor dad, lol.

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 16:16

it means "if you see what I mean"...

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 16:08

Cauldron We are all fairly close :)

Hi Clandy! Nice to meet another 24yr old...so sick of people telling me that I'm too young! Just want to tell them to eff off and mind their own business glare at them. We have been adding each other on FB if you are interested? Just nice to put faces and names to nick names!! If you are interested them PM us :) Hey, if AF was due 4 weeks ago...could you be updiffed??????

BTW, what does iyswim mean?

Clandy · 27/10/2011 15:58

Not old at all.... You are only as old as you feel (or act Grin)

After being told all through teenage life that if you look at a man you will immediately become up the duff it's surprising how complicated it can all be eh!!

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 15:49

I'm also waiting until next cycle to be totally exact about days, as this is cycle 1 after coming off the pill.

DP is so funny, he's now asking me each day what the new gossip on the thread is... (he's particularly interested in fish's AI Blush)

Its also making me laugh how clueless inexperienced everyone is (in a nice way!), ie someone asks something complicated and lots of people, me included, cluck around saying ooooh I don't knowwww!!! Grin

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 15:45

Secret Sparkle (26) CD 13, OD 27/10, AF 11/11
wannabemum24 (24) CD 17, OD 24/10 (ish), AF 07/11
Cauldron (33 - although birthday on Tues Smile) CD 19, OD 22/10, AF 5/11 (ish)

God I'm an old git!!

Clandy · 27/10/2011 15:37

Oh I'm really glad to see some ttcers that are same age as me I have just turned 24 and everyone seems to be in their 30's which isn't a problem just nice to know I'm not the only one ttc 'so young' iyswim. Have nothing to add to list as af was due 4 weeks ago so no clue what is going on Smile

This thread moves so fast I can hardly keep up Grin

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 15:33

Theoretically, Sparkle! I only came off my pill on Sunday (was on it for only 8 days before that when DH said he was ready I came off straight away!)! No withdrawal bleed yet so am thinking it might not happen as I had one 2 weeks ago (ish)...will probs have to wait until normal AF comes then cound CDs after that...
