No more Pill!! This is it!! Starting a JULY-AUG 2012 bus...

Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

My profile is showing a picture of me on my own ( with sunglasses, blonde hair) or me and my husband or our wedding flowers ( roses)!!!
I've no idea why it's showing different profile pictures depending if I search for myself via the app or on the web... Confused!

Tequila I admire your restraint, if only could the same!
I would wait till AF late because speaking from experience Blush it's horrible getting a BFN and still not being sure if you are or not as AF is not even due.

Woo cauldron!!! How fantastic!! I'm well pleased for you. When I was reading the updates on my phone the replies were backward so I kept seeing all these "congrats cauldron woohoo" and thought you'd gotten a BFP already GrinBlush

I shall make a secret FB group tonight if someone doesn't get to it sooner! I'm sure we will eventually know who everyone is, it's just like being in a new class at school.

I did another OPK today with no result. So assuming the line that was almost as dark as the test line was my positive, which was Tuesday. So by that I would have O'ed tues night/wed morning. So at least now I have a date for my 2ww to end. I think I can do a test as early as the 6 November. Ha, early, that sounds so late to me.

I was really tempted to POAS this morning but managed to fight the urge! I'm not sure whether to do it tomorrow morning (when AF is due) or wait until Sunday (if she doesn't show up before then!)

Goodness you girls can talk! Only been away for a few days!

POAS this morning (and yesterday morning and the morning before Blush) but BFN Sad
But am not due AF till Tuesday 1st so am still holding out hope Smile
Am feeling pregnant, tummy feels funny like AF due, sore boobs, more tired then usual and a bit of nausea. This of course could be wishful thinking.
As my last pregnancy back in Aug was an ectopic I feel I need to know ASAP if I'm pregnant or not Sad

Will probably wait till Tuesday if AF doesn't arrive to test again as its really disheartening to keep getting BFN Sad

Cauldron congrats on your engagement I thought the whole tin foil ring is actually very sweet Smile

Actually he's well chuffed and we've had a good chat about it all. He will go preliminary ring shopping (when he has saved up!) and pick out a few then I can come after work and choose one...

We did say we would tell family but not friends but already I'm not so sure!

He mustn't be feeling too hungover as he's singing to the dog....

I think ring shopping could be problematic... He's in the restaurant 6 days a week and as his day off is Monday I'm working then!

Slightly annoying as we could have gone this week - that's what happens when such an important task is left to dp: planning and organisation go out the window!

DH still AWOL. He is due back at 6pm...suprisingly not pissed off though! Gonna suggest a takeaway (Ta for the inspiration Vino) and wine :) I managed to get the afternoon off work so I will clean the house and do wifely things...maybe even bake!!!
