Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Lots of love, Pip xx

Ooh all the excitement and drama!!! Fish I can now understand why he won't be helping in the joyous task of co-parenting!!

Tequila, how exciting about the forthcoming test Grin

Cauldron I am so pleased for you re your engagement!!!

I will put a pic of the present DH gave me on the Facebook page soon x

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 19:30

Pleased you got it sorted Cauldron, and I bet it will be lovely to see your mum's face when you tell her!

Fish, Sad maybe he can't reply as he's in the meeting but will text you when it finishes?

And I'm thinking Sunday too. If AF hasn't shown by tomorrow morning and I get a BFN then I'll have to test again on Sunday morning if she still hasn't shown. And so it will continue! I'll end up driving myself mad so Sunday it is. Now praying the old witch (AF) stays away!

Fishpants · 28/10/2011 19:15

And tequila I suppose theoretically Sunday is better but I would test Saturday if I were you! Grin

Fishpants · 28/10/2011 19:14

Lol cauldron!! Bet you're on cloud 9. Well, stupid donor is at a stupid meeting in another town today. I keep texting him asking when he will be back and telling him this is the last day I'll need him and it's reeeeeeeeeeeeeally important but he wont reply Angry Sad

This is why he's not co parenting---reliability!!! I've even told him I'll drive the 2 hours to that town so I can get his sample. Geez.

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 28/10/2011 19:10

ahhh I'm back to normal thanks to the lovely people on the chat thread Grin

I'm waiting for my mum to come on skype so I can tell her the news. She texted me back and was really like "oh I'll be quite busy, we've got to shop and then have dinner...". Bless her she's got no idea! I'll give her a while to get settled then force her to skype!!

DP came in from the kitchen and said "hello wife to be" BlushGrin

RAAAAAAH @ Cauldron Just off to pick DH up Grin

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 28/10/2011 18:08

I would go for Sunday personally just in case AF arrives over the weekend. If you can wait...!

Grrr screen... I feel as if everyone is shouting at me!

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 18:03

No idea how to sort your screen out Cauldron, maybe post in geeky stuff? Somebody there will know, I'm sure!

We are supposed to be going out to a party tomorrow night too but I'm going to drive so that we can leave early, and I have an excuse for not drinking Smile

Have we decided when I'm going to test then? Tomorrow or Sunday? I have 2 tests in the house so need to use them wisely!

Keeping everything crossed that AF stays away

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 28/10/2011 17:59

Glad your DH is back safe and sound, wannabe Smile

Does anyone use an Apple? I have managed to zoom in so the screen is massive, and I don't know how to zoom out again Blush

I have lost DP to the restaurant again for the weekend... he's downstairs now cooking and stressing his head out, so I'm hiding. I've got to go home tomorrow for a Halloween party. I hate the thought of leaving early - sooo tempted not to go but it would look a bit crap if I didn't turn up Sad

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 17:04

Secret, apparently it is totally safe :) My sis had one when pg.

DH is back in UK :o He had no signal and the hotel had no WIFI! Apparently he got steaming drunk and was throwing up alot. Serves him right for not wanting to "waste money" by emailing me!!!

Well, he will come home to a clean house that smells and looks lush, clean bedding, the weekly shop done and a horny (but sadly AFy) wife that's pleased to see him :) Damn AF!

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 14:33

Surely tonight? If it is positive now it's worth doing it ASAP as the swimmers will live for up to 5 days. The sooner the better?

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 14:32

Id say today Fish, I'm very excited for you!

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 14:31

I've added everybody from the FB group now Smile

Fishpants · 28/10/2011 14:29

I just texted him - do you think tonight or tomorrow night would be better though?? He can only do 1 night at the weekends so must choose carefully!

Ahhhh I'm so excited. Grin

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 14:28

Woooohoooo brilliant Fish! Yes, get on the phone to the donor Wink

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 14:27

Oh brilliant Fish!! Are you going to call donor for a visit tonight? Wink

Fishpants · 28/10/2011 14:24

Well blimmin heck!!!!!!!!

Just got a positive, unmistakeable on my OPK. GrinGrinGrin

And remember how I said I never have EWCM? Errr..yeah. So weird, I had given this all up for lost!! Hooray!!!

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 14:19

Check the Facebook page and look at members...I have everyone on there x

Fishpants · 28/10/2011 14:15

Oh yes had not realized about the CD issue. Ok then just OD and AF dates?

Loving the secret FB group. About to do another ov test at work (yes im daft but I bought 30 of them damn it and I'm gonna use them, even if 20 have disappeared from the earth...Grin) but feeling some strange abdominal sensations today and a bit last night, sort of like a feeling of fullness? Not bladder and not stomach full, just bloated I guess but it's not as unpleasant as normal bloating. Put my work trousers on this morning which until today have been a wee bit on the small side, filling them right up today, must be the mcdonalds I gorged last night.

Do I have everyone on FB now?!

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 13:48

Unless, Cauldron we remove the CD section? The AF/OD dates will only change once a month...

wannabemum24 · 28/10/2011 13:43

For those of you who are friends with me on FB, I have created a secret group for us all. No one can see it unless they are invited to it. If I have forgotten to invite you then message me on FB and I will do it. It will give us an opportunity to talk a bit more freely if we want to talk about stuff other than TTC etc...make sense Hmm x

Tequilamockinbat · 28/10/2011 13:36

Grin never thought of that!
