Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Lots of love, Pip xx

Thanks for adding me to the list - Im 31 by the way!

Have been out shopping for baby clothes though not for me / mine (Im not quite at that stage yet although it is tempting!!) - a friend has a 4 week old so I'll be going for baby cuddles soon.
Im sooooooooooooo broody!!!!

Vinolover · 04/11/2011 08:15

Good morning ladies :)

Looks like im out this month... She seems to be showing up 2 days early! It's not heavy in the least bit yet but im sure that come sunday I will feel like im dying! I feel fine about it though. Obviously wasn't meant to be my turn this month and I do believe in fate, hence me getting a tummy bug around O day!

Fingers crossed for everyone else still :) X

Cheeser · 04/11/2011 08:03

Morning everyone. It's Friiiiiiiiiiiday!!! Hoorah.

AF arrived this morning, but feeling ok. It's bang on 28 days since I took my last pill so happy that things seem to have returned to normal (whatever 'normal' is). I've had the most sore breasts in the world for about a fortnight so hopefully this will signal the end of that.

Sorry tequila that yours showed up too. But it just gives you an excuse to go all out next month Grin

So now I have a rough idea of my cycle I've added myself to the list:

Graduates!
Clandy - BFP November 2

Currently in the 2ww and symptom spotting like madwomen!
Sarah (27) AF due 1 Nov
Cauldron (33) AF due 5 Nov (ish)
Vino (29) AF due 6 Nov
Kirrin (35) AF due 8 Nov
Fish (24) AF due 11 Nov
3isamagic (??) AF due 11 Nov
Sparkle (24) AF due 11 Nov
Cherrypie (30) AF due 16 Nov
Minky (36) AF due 17 Nov

Joining in for lots of SWI and August BFP's!
Tequila (32) Last AF 3 Nov
Yorkshire (24) Last AF 27 Oct
Cheeser (29) Last AF 4 Nov

Don't worry fishpond it'll happen. It's not too late for this month if AF hasn't arrived yet. Chin up, chuck Smile

Fishpond · 03/11/2011 23:59

Sarah how are you doing - any AF or BFP's to report? Any symptoms?

Vino pants on your BFN - you're being so optimistic though about how your chances increase every month - I had forgotten about that bit Smile

I am feeling OK about things at this particular moment in time, but I know when AF shows up I'll be a blithering ball of tears, as I really think I did everything humanly possible to conceive this month. I keep thinking about all the swimmers who died because I won't just let myself be primal like everyone else Sad I just know it hasn't happened - I don't feel anything whatsoever and getting AF pains.

Ah well. Had my first class tonight for my promotion, got 6 weeks of part-time classes then 3 days of full-time classes right near Christmas which I'm kind of Hmm about. Went okay just feel like what's the point with no DP / DC! Argh! I'm such a ball of (AF-related) hormones! (You probably all think I have multiple personality disorder Wink)

3 yay you are AF buddies with me and Sparkle! We should agree on a day to have a testing party!

MinkyMoodles · 03/11/2011 21:27

Apologies Cherry you're only a youngster Wink must have got you mixed up with someone else! Oops!

MinkyMoodles · 03/11/2011 21:24

Yay @ Cherry a SS buddy!! I'll be a nightmare, so impatient! (Similar age too) Are you on FB group?

My friend has a 4 month old but I think she thinks I'm so not maternal I've not been allowed cuddles :(

I keep looking at cute clothes but daren't buy anything, DP will think I've lost it! He's just about coping discussing a nursery room! Actually he's been really good, even suggested baby has the biggest spare room cos it's nicer!!

belated welcome!

MM xx

3isamagicnumber · 03/11/2011 21:13

Thanks for the welcomes and best wishes - sending positive baby vibes all round!!

For me, AF is due 11th Nov so another week to go (will seem like ages!)

Thought I had some symptoms over the last couple of days - bit of nausea, bit tired etc, - but its prob me wishful thinking and Im sure its too early for any symptoms to show anyway??!!

cherrypiew3 · 03/11/2011 21:00

Evening Ladies.

Tequila Sorry AF showed up.

Minky Think we are due AF at around the same time maybe we can be ss buddies.Grin

Well my lovely friend and her brand new baby are coming to visit at the weekend i can not wait to get some baby cuddles, so I have been out shopping for baby and have had a brill time looking at all the things.

Clandy · 03/11/2011 20:18

Fish- I would fudge your dates as you know when you ov'd and tbh it makes no massive difference as they prob change it at scan any way so if you say lmp you'll be 11 weeks at scan not 12 but makes very little difference went for my scan at 10 weeks with dd and was fine. So what I'm trying to say in a very long winded way is that it doesn't matter Grin

Hope you lovely ladies are all good this eve Smile

YorkshireTeaAddict · 03/11/2011 20:16

I was wondering where the name came from Cauldron!! Re SWI when not knowing when OV is going to happen, I am in the same boat. So, I thought about it and figured that the little soldiers live up to 5 days 'inside' so if we SWI every 2-3 days after my withdrawal bleed, we should catch it if I do OV. TBH, I'm not entirely sure that I'll OV this month anyway. If I took my withdrawal as AF, I am 'due' to OV next Friday, so I have spoken to DH and he is happy to start SWI every other day starting Monday :)

MinkyMoodles · 03/11/2011 20:10

Evening Ladies!

Sorry to hear AF has turned up Tequila no like :(

I've been tempted to POAS as I've been feeling sick all afternoon, but there's no chance, so best not jump on the bandwagon!

No smilie face on OPK tonight, so baffled now as to when Ov is! Thought I was a 28 dayer!

MM xx

Vinolover · 03/11/2011 18:23

Glad im not the only one Secret :) The temptation was far too much, even though I knew what the result would be. I did have a nice large Wine with my dinner though, because I could :)

Hi guys :)

I too have been a moody mare Cauldron. I was having hot sweats last night in bed too which is a sure sign AF is due to arrive. I did a FR test which was obviously a BFN. Im actually ok about it all tbh. I know our chances increase each month. I hope AF doesn't keep me hanging this month!
How exciting about your wedding! You are more than likely to fall pregnant when you have other things on your mind!

Good name yorkshire! That's my fave tea (although have gone off tea since coil was taken out Confused)

Im so sorry about AF Tequila :( Hope she doesn't hang around too long!!

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 03/11/2011 16:56

well done wannabe/yorkshire Smile. Mine is also tea related - I need to ditch the halloween name now!

I still want to ttc just as much, of course. And we are still doing exactly the same, I just think this month I was so excited to begin with, then its been such a non-event that wedding planning is just taking up more of my thoughts right now!

Wait til AF is done with, then I'm sure I'll have swung back round again and I'll be fed up of wedding planning! Ready to try again and opk like mad....

I have a question actually - if you are meant to have swi for a couple of days before OV, but you don't know when ov is going to be until it shows up on an opk, how on earth does that work??? Confused

YorkshireTeaAddict · 03/11/2011 16:42

Makes sense Cauldron, but how will you not stop thinking about it! There are no backburners in my life :) Once I have my heart set on something, I go at it like a fat boy in a cake shop!!

Oh, this is wannabe by the way, decided on my new name all by myself Grin

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 03/11/2011 16:27

Evening everybody...

sorry to hear about AbloodyF tequila - onwards and upwards though Sad

I'm totally lost now with who's doing what, even me! I am spectacularly symptom free but have 2 spots and was an evil cow in school today, so I presume AF is going to show up more or less when I guessed, this weekend. Just in time to see DP Sad

I'm so preoccupied with wedding planning, plus getting married in July/August kind of clashes with being pg right now, so I think we'll carry on ttc but not put it at the forefront, iyswim. Might still be tempted to opk just because I've got them... Smile

Fishpond · 03/11/2011 15:27

Oh Tequila so sorry for you. Sad I'm havin AF twinges already, figured this would be the month she decides to bloody show up early after being later each and every month when not TTC.

Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work I go. Have a good evening my lovelies will check in with you all again in 2 hours when I'm off to class (stupid hour drive away)

Tequilamockinbat · 03/11/2011 15:04

Thanks for the list fish and thanks to everyone for the support. You're right, at least I know where I am and I can now start all over again Smile

Wannabe, I'd do every other day. I'm not starting with OPK yet either. Although I might do after Christmas if still no luck!

I feel awful today, the witch is letting me know shes definitely here, and here with a vengeance too Sad

Clandy · 03/11/2011 14:23

Oooh thanks for adding me to stats just stopping in while it's play time Grin my Internet crashed last night just when I wanted it most Smile so will catch up tonight whilst basking in an evening free from swi Grin

wannabemum24 · 03/11/2011 14:22

Thanks Fish :) Re your question, you could just explain all that when you go to see them??? I don't really know!

Getting all excited about SWI and stuff. Seeing pregnant women everywhere I go Envy. I just want it to be meeeee!

HELP REQUIRED I want to change my username but I don't know what to. Any ideas?

Fishpond · 03/11/2011 14:15

Sparkle I did think that when I was writing out the stats!! Are you planning to test early or wait to see if AF is late first?

I hate the 2ww too - actually glad to be going back to work after 2 days off, I seem to forget about TTC while there which is nice.

I have a general question - since my cycle is so long (31-35 days on average) do you think I could fudge my last period date when I go to the docs to confirm a pregnancy? If I give them my actual date, (using this month as an example) I would be due on Jul 17-18 as far as DATES go - but using my conception date it's actually 7-10 days later than that, and would be July 23-28(ish).

I'm tempted to say that my LMP is 7 days later than it actually was to more closely mimic the 'average' that they go by. Would this be dumb or clever? Probably dumb Blush
