1, being unable to book next years holidays, as we don't know if i'll be pg or even have a baby by then

2, not being able to fully commit to starting out on certain things in case you can't cary on

3, waiting for your period

I had been TTC for 6 years when I resigned from my second job in that time. You guessed it, got pregnant whilst on notice period.

Book that holiday. The more inappropriate it is for a pg person or baby the better. You know you'll definitely be pg then and will have to cancel at great expense. So book that expedition to Everest base camp, go on... Tempt fate :o

Oh good thread idea! Yes to all yours, esp waiting.

  1. getting excited whenever your feel slightly off-colour... only to discover you are not only not pregnant but in fact have a tummy bug/ cold/ random back ache

  2. spending a fortune on pregnancy tests

  3. not knowing whether it's safe to drink/ live off coffee/ eat blue cheese sandwishes or not for 2 weeks every month
