I better stop getting carried away as:

a) it's very early
b) have only done one test
c) if last time is anything to go by, I'll be the size of a bloody house by next week

Honeydragon · 26/09/2011 12:58

Grin Tethers was exactly the same as you it took me a beer to get the courage up to test

we now have two dc's, no space and no money and no leather pencil skirts. But we are happy.

LunaticIsOnTheGrass · 26/09/2011 12:56

Congratulations Grin

eurochick · 26/09/2011 12:54

Nice skirt. But a baby is better!

tethersend · 26/09/2011 12:42

And it was a birthday present before anyone asks why I'm worried about money but spunking £150 on a skirt Grin

tethersend · 26/09/2011 12:41

bluegnueboo · 26/09/2011 12:31

I think it's unlikely to be false Tethers, but try another brand if your worried.

I've seen reports of the "normal" clearblue being dodgy but not the digital.

Congratulations!!!! I think everyone wings it in the end really, you'll be fine, better than fine, you'll be great.

Oh bugger. I forgot. I just ordered a leather pencil skirt.

kat2504 · 26/09/2011 12:30

No, a false positive is virtually impossible. On the box/leaflet it says that very rarely, post-menopausal women over 50 may get a false positive and some types of ovarian cysts may also cause it. But they are at least 99% accurate so that means that you are almost certainly pregnant! Do another test, I bet it says the same!
Congratulations :)

KnottyLocks · 26/09/2011 12:29

I think it's more likey to be the otherway around at this stage, i.e. false negative.

Oooooooooo, congratulations.

tethersend · 26/09/2011 12:24

Right, breathe. You are all being lovely.

The test says 1-2 weeks, so v early.

If it's real. Can it be a false positive? Am three days late.

MrsBlarney · 26/09/2011 12:20

Congratulations Tethers Grin

Well done, that's lovely. ikwym about being proper parents once you have another.

I have loads of baby stuff if you need anything.

fannybanjo · 26/09/2011 12:19

Yep don't worry about money or space too much - we all end up winging it and our kids are ok!

fannybanjo · 26/09/2011 12:18

My last two were accidents and the best things (along with DD1 who was IVF) to happen to DH and I although at the time when DD3 was conceived I was very worried. Congratulations!!! Does it say how many weeks you are? I love those first pregnancy days - you feel so bloody special.

MmeLindor. · 26/09/2011 12:18

Don't worry about money, and they don't take up a lot of space for a while.

He/she is still only > < that size
