Hi all (waves welcome to pixie).

I haven't needed to POAS unfortunaely. AF came round bang on schedule. . It wasn't a surprise though. DH has been informed, dates have been checked, and everything is set for the next round!

Sending PMA to you Pie - as that sucks. Do you have an appointment or are you on the waiting lit for getting an appointment? (if that makes sense).

eve - sorry things are lousy right now. I hope it gets easier soon.

BlueCrane · 23/09/2011 09:43

Morning all...think I might have another nap in the nice comfy padded room today as fell fast asleep at 10pm, woke up at 1:30am and theeenn was awake and still awake until my alarm went off this morning so feeling very bleary eyed today and have my first 'party' for my new direct slaes venture tonight (oh the timing...a bfp the day after I launched as a Consultant!!). But my cold is easing off which is good!

pie so so sorry to hear about your CD21 test results...my friend who was trying for her DC1 for 2 years got her bfp the first month on clomid - the only other bfp she'd had in the 2 years ended in MC and the docs think that may have been the only time she'd ov'd in that time too...what I'm trying to say is that hopefully if you can get the clomid it will hopefully do the trick! Grrr for the long waiting list though...so frustrating!

summer how are you feeling? Hope AF not too heavy or painful and that you guzzled some Wine last night?

shimmery have you POAS yet? Hope work has calmed down a bit for you?

eve how are you today? Hoping you don't have a visitor today!!

Hi All,

Hope everybody is well! Sadly I am on a real downer today, TTC is all getting a bit much emotionally and I don't know how much longer I can cope with the crushed hope every month :(

My CD21 progesterone results were crap again this month (23 = ovulation unlikely) so i'm beside myself really. I'm only 10dpo so am out for this month if my progesterone is that low :( :( My GP said I will have to get clomid from the ferility clinic but I'm still in a huge queue so weeks away from an appt and I suddenly feel like i'm hurtling full speed towards my due date and then, my 40th birthday next year. I feel like just curling up and crying all day but have so much to do for my friend's wedding tomorrow that I need to stay focused and positive on that.

It's just so crushing and I feel like my life now revolves around how many days until AF due. I can't even go and see somebody privately as that isn't an option for the first appointment so just have to have a very long wait. It's been nearly a year since we started TTC no.2, I can't believe that amount of time has gone by!

I'm so so sorry for the me, me downer post.

On a brighter note I hope all of our ladies with bumps or bumps in waiting are doing well!

pebs hope the accupuncture goes well. I go to and do really think it's helping my cycle.

eve so sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Am sending lots of virtual hugs to you xxx

pixie sorry you have found yourself here but it's the most amazing and supportive thread and a lovely bunch of ladies!

summer so sorry to hear the beatch got you! who does she think she is anyway, swanning in unannounced like that! You are still in with a June hoodie chance next month :) :)

manda sorry to hear about the explosive nappies!! DS did an explosive poo in the bath 2 nights running, bleurghghghggh! Mind you DP cleans those ones up! Are you going to have a scan at 8 weeks?

blue hope the cold is easing up a bit! How are you feeling today?

Big wave and hugs to missg, shimmery, IQ, marathon wishing poppy and anybody else i've missed !xxx

InsomniaQueen · 22/09/2011 21:25

I'm busy for a few days and you start a new thread......can't catch up properly now as finally feeling tired and must sleep when this happens but when I wake up at 1am I will catch up with all the goings on and update you all on IQ life!!!

Love to you all xxx

MarathonMama · 22/09/2011 17:57

Marking my spot! Back later...

pebspop · 22/09/2011 15:45

pixie i haven;t had any accu yet, start my first one on saturday. i am going out on tomorrow night though so will have to try and avoid a hangover!

BlueCrane · 22/09/2011 15:38

eve so sorry you're having such a tough time at the moment Sad Really hoping you get some good news rather than AF coming to visit you tomorrow and that your DS starts to settle better soon. Must be v tough with DP working away too. Have you any family or friends locally who could help?

pixiewitch · 22/09/2011 15:25

Thanks for the lovely warm welcome.
So sorry to read about all the things you've all been through too...
Eve. Sorry If I previously missed something before, but my friend had same problem re after school club.she got/shared a childminder with another friend...?

Thanks for porridge&coffee offer bluecrane.I'd love some (yummy).

Pop. I know of other m/c sufferers who've had accupuncture & it really seems to be helping. How do you find it?

I'm off for a bite of cheese on toast (ooh sorry to those who r feeling bit queezie....)

eve34 · 22/09/2011 14:52

Afternoon all

So sorry I have not been around, really not been feeling it recently. I do wish you all the very best of luck but I am just find this all so hard.

DS has started school and it really couldn't get any worse :-( The after school club won't have him as he isn't settled enough so am fucked basically. DP is working away again next week for the four week in a row and I can't cope anymore.

Af is due tomorrow so have that to look forward to DTD 3 days before ovulation we think but not feeling it so not expecting anything to happen. To b e honest feel like giving it all up as a bad idea :-(

Enough of my woe's hope you are all fantastic - fingers crossed for more bfp.

Chin up and all that

Poppyjen · 22/09/2011 14:38

Oh and Summer I am so sorry AF got you Sad but enjoy the Wine and I am loving your "liberation" antics, tee hee Grin

Poppyjen · 22/09/2011 14:35

Hi Pixie welcome! As others have said, I am so sorry you find yourself here but I am very pleased to "meet" you Smile I am ttc number 2 (I have a DS who is 18 months). I had a mc in May at 6/7 ish weeks and then a chemical pg last month. I am now on CD32 with no ovulation yet Shock so waiting to start my 2ww, and hiding in a dark corner of the padded room ready to start metalling with everyone else Grin

pebspop · 22/09/2011 13:38

pixie i am also trying for my first. 'luckily' as my second mc was a late one i have been given tests to try and find out why it happened. usually they only start testing after three consecutive mc's. i am going for the results on tuesday.

glad your cycles are back to normal - mine are being a nightmare, going to acupunture this week to see if they can sort it out since the gp wasn't interested.

BlueCrane · 22/09/2011 13:13

pebs, wishing thanks for the congrats?still getting used to it Shock but the tiredness, waves of nausea, sore boobs and constipation are making it feel quite real Blush

summer grrrr Angry that AF got you, not sure how comfortable I?d be at work in quite the same predicament as you Wink But yeah to still wearing that June hoodie Smile and enjoy the Wine with gusto ? you definitely deserve it!!

manda I think it?s all pretty draining, I think the tiredness and nausea doesn?t help with trying to stay PMA as it just wears you out esp with still BFing your DS2 as well ? the padded room?s pretty comfy though so feel free to curl up in there and hide for a while! Grin for the McD?s though ? enjoy!

pixie welcome Smile please come and make yourself at home, help yourself to some cake and Brew there may even be some left over porridge if you fancy Hmm Sounds as though you had the same happen as I did with your MC?we didn?t find out until 12w scan and ended up with an ERPC Sad but hoping for better things this time around!

pixiewitch · 22/09/2011 12:30

Ps .

McD's sounds great right now. Lucky you.

pixiewitch · 22/09/2011 12:29

Hello manda.
M/c was in April (I was 10 weeks with an anembryotic pregnancy =positive test result & sac grows but no fetal pole or yoke sac or embryo but body thinks something is there so keeps producing pregnancy hormones).
Thankfully cycles seem to be back to normal now...seems to have taken ages.
What about you?

MandaHugNKiss · 22/09/2011 12:15

Welcome pixie - sorry you find yourself here but I hope we can offer you a shoulder/hope/inspiration Smile How long since your mc/are your cycles back to normal yet?

After saying nothing sounds good I suddenly just decided the evil that is McDonalds sounds good... just sent DP to get it for me before I lose him until this evening (we get to spend more time together than most due to his self-employedness... but once he drops my foul fat/carb combo food he's pretty busy until late this evening.

WishingIWasLucky · 22/09/2011 12:07

Congratulations bluecrane, msgiraffe and Manda! Waves at evryone else. Don't mind me sitting here quietly at the back taking notes! x

pixiewitch · 22/09/2011 12:02

Hi pop.
Thnx for the seat.seems very comfy.
I don't have any children yet. Had another m/c years ago too, So still waiting/trying for the 1st..
What about you?

pebspop · 22/09/2011 11:43

hi pixie i am sure theres room for another in the padded cell!

hope you get your bfp soon!

do you have any children or was the mc your first pregnancy?

pixiewitch · 22/09/2011 11:31

Hello.
Any space on yr thread for a 40y/o with one recent m/c behind me & currently on (yet another) 2ww?
Pixie

Summerbird73 · 22/09/2011 11:15

sending the hugs manda LO's can be so delightful with their pooeyness. DS's key worker told me they had had loads of fruit yesterday as DS didnt want to eat his pasta for lunch. Cue the most delightful nappy at 6pm - thanks nursery!

take it easy manda and hang in there, as you say; any scan now wont show a heartbeat (even though it is there) you only have a couple of weeks to go Smile here have an extra helping of porridge

OP posts:
MandaHugNKiss · 22/09/2011 11:12

Thanks for the new thread summer So sorry af got you but as you say you are still in the running for a June baby and hello Wine !

I just don't know how I feel, blue. I'm 5+6 today, 6 weeks tomorrow. No appetite. Exhausted (but ds2 still waking regularly throuh the night for his boob). I just... need to know everything is ok and that not really possible at this point. They'd see a sac and probably fetal pole but unlikely to see a heartbeat yet so - poop. I have to wait.

Speaking of poop, I think DS2 has/had rotavirus - 12 explosive watery poops yesterday, a very sore bum. Fun.

I should eat something... blurgh. Nothing, but NOTHING sounds good.

Summerbird73 · 22/09/2011 10:41

thank you for your encouraging words ladies but this OP is not getting an BFP this month. Just been to the loo and AF has got me Sad Angry TMI alert but i even had to throw my knickers out Blush still it is quite liberating just wearing some opaques and a tampon!!!!! Wink

i am still wearing the June hoodie though, i have just worked out if i get a BFP next month it is still a June baby at 28th!!

screw the positive thinking - i need a bottle of wine tonight!

OP posts:
pebspop · 22/09/2011 10:33

bluecrane not sure if i congratulated you CONGRATULATIONS!! you must have got bfo while i was away.

summer hope your af pains are implantation or stretching. Get testing girl! i hear op's on these kind of threads get extra special luck!

poppy can i have some breakfast - forgot mine this morning!

my temp went back down this morning so no ov for me. i am looking forward to trying acupuncture to see if that works. i hope the consultant next week does something for me as well. it's driving me mad! defo need that padded cell.

dh thinks we should wait a few cycles once i get back to normal before ttc. i know what he means as i would hate to have another mc because my body wasn't ready but omg i hate my body at the moment. i could have been on my third cycle now if af had come back when she was supposed to. i was hoping to try after my consultant appointment on tuesday if all was well.

PieMistress · 22/09/2011 10:31

Am chuckling at poppy's heroic description! I fully agree Grin I am a compulsive 9/10dpo tester too. I didn't manage this morning as was in a flap to get to work and DS to nursery but have a day off tomorrow (pre-wedding bridesmaid beautification preps!). Do you think you need to use FMU if testing at 10dpo?!

summer it's so annoying that pre-AF and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar! I think it's sounding very promising for you myself and you will be wearing a June hoodie with pride! :)
