Ok Am I being unreasonable to think I might actually be pregnant??!

We have been trying for a baby, on and off for about 5 months now.

All preg tests have been neg except one which was touch and go but the next one was neg. Last one I did about 4 weeks ago.

I have had three periods since we started trying BUT have also been on and off the pill and we have changed our minds/changed again etc. In fact I have just finished a period today (but stopped pill about a week ago so probably not a real one IYKWIM).

For the last two weeks or so I have FELT A BABY MOVING IN MY TUMMY. I HAVE SEEN MY TUMMY MOVE - feels and looks exactly the same as when I was pregnant with DS.

DH just saw it and is totally freaked out.

Is this even possible ???!!!!!

Hi Iv been experiencing movements in my womb for the past week but my period is due and iv been having my periods, its freaky because it feels like foetal movement, I know this because I've had 3 kids.. I'm so worried because I have not been trying!

privateprancer · 06/09/2011 14:29

marne how nice in a way not to have to wait all those months (depends if she wanted a baby though!)

privateprancer · 06/09/2011 14:28

I get this too, and it's only been since having children. I think it's because my tummy muscles aren't what they used to be so you can 'see' and feel the wind going round. Seriously I did wonder WTF it was for a long time but have since spoken to a lot of people who get the same thing

Marne · 05/09/2011 20:47

I would have asked for a scan or a blood test (at least). An old lady dh works with went to hospital with what she thought was kidney stones (many years ago, no scans in those days) and came home with a baby Shock, she never knew she was pg, had no morning sickness on anything.

parentfailure · 05/09/2011 20:37

How do YOU feel?

Seriously, I went to the drs more times than I could shake a stick at. Finally got a scan and DS was 22 weeks.

Previous assessments ruled out PG!!!

skybot · 05/09/2011 18:52

Hope you're ok x

skybot · 05/09/2011 18:51

Awww

heroinahalfshell · 05/09/2011 18:34

Sorry just got home!

Not preggo :( :( Doc made me POAS, had a feel (inside and out... Blush ), asked me Qs re periods etc and concluded not preggo....

Mmmm....!!!! Had a few flutters again this morning but no visuals of the baby Grin Wink

Iamjustthemilkmachine · 05/09/2011 09:59

Really want to know what happens!
One thing, if it's such a shock having a baby when you know it and have months to prepare, how do people cope when it's a surprise?? Confused

MalibuStac · 05/09/2011 08:30

My mil didn't know she was pregnant till she went into labour, I think this may have been naivety in her part. My sil is now 45. Good luck today.

WhoseGotMyEyebrows · 05/09/2011 08:15

Serenitysutton A&e? Gp? What for, wind? Or a pregnancy test (like the many done at home?) you're all mad. Running off to a medical professional because your tummy is moving? I don't know how gps keep a straight face.

So you have never heard that pregnancy tests for some women/pregnancies don't work? So you haven't read all the posts on this thread saying so?

cleanteeth · 05/09/2011 08:12

I had the same thing of feeling kicks and movements which started a couple of weeks after giving birth. I was adamant I was pregnant as had read an article where this woman had got pregnant...while she was pregnant! God knows how she managed to do that but I was sure it was happening to me aswell.

14 months on and I'm still getting the same kicks and movement

GetAwayFromHerYouBitch · 05/09/2011 07:55

Fascinating that wind and babies have some much in common

Fascinating how many of us have weird uterine/stomach disturbances (I thought I was the only one)

saffronwblue · 05/09/2011 04:28

Marking my spot to find out what happens next.

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 05/09/2011 02:42

Ha, I didn't even notice your name, hero!

Good luck today, getting answers. I'm intrigued now.

LeBOF · 05/09/2011 00:23

I predict that you are going to give birth. To a giant poo.
