Well, as Bleats so kindly started the last one I thought it only fair to take my share of the driving Grin

Let's keep the positive vibe going ladies, we may be off the May minibus but we're definitely not defeated so bring the Wine, Brew and BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit, hold onto your seats and let's get this baby mobile started

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes (37) ttc#2 AF due 28th Sept (ish)

Ok ladies I'm just jumping back on board to ask you a Q. This AF is most strange. I had blood last night when wiped (sorry tmi!) like a streak IYKWIM. Put a tampon in over night. Anyway this morning the tampon looks like v old dry blood and no more when wiped!!

No period pains. Nada. Usually I would be cramping and have VERY heavy flow on the first day.

Any ideas? Just an one do you reckon??

Dalrymps · 25/09/2011 10:35

Oh actually, I just checked the foil packet (duh!) and they expire 01/2012Smile

Dalrymps · 25/09/2011 09:47

Btw can anyone tell me what the expiration date is son the new tests they've bought? I just used a test out of the bathroom cabinet that I've worked out is at least 2 years old! Incidentally I believe the result but after doing a bit of research on the net it says that if you use expired tests you can get false results, can even get a false positive, I didn't think that was possible!

Think I'd better throw the old tests away, got a job lot on eBay when we were ttc ds2Grin

Dalrymps · 25/09/2011 09:25

Sorry, I so didn't mean to leave out signet, I hope your time is very soon x

bleats Aww that's a nice thing to saySmileIve looked at the dates and we might actually be ok to carry on next month but not sure if I fancy travelling all that way when 8 months pg. I would of course but I am just undecided as to what to do. Will think on it some more...

I gave in and POAS this morning. CD 25 (I think?!) and a BFN. I am a mixture of disappointed and relieved because of my friend. Of course if the test was wrong and it was just too early to tell then I'll be happy but then it'll throw a spanner in the works for visiting my new niece/nephewConfused Jeez, I'm just babbling on now! I wish I'd have known they were ttc cause I would have tried to plan around it. Ah well, everything happens for a reason so I will just have to ride the wave of fateGrin

Btw Bleats are you psychic? It's just you said you sense it won't be longGrin

Bleats · 25/09/2011 08:29

Oh and Signet I didn't mean to miss you out and sorry that you are off the bus as well.

Lovely news Dalrymps. I sense that if you want to leave it a month for such a nice reason it will not be long for you.

Bleats · 25/09/2011 07:28

Morning all and sorry hero and Roger for the AFs.

I finally broke my poas cherry after having really bad cramps, aches, tiredness and an up/down temperature. So.... nadda, negative, nothing going on.

This means either my periods are in flux; not by much but I have never had a 28 day cycle +. Maybe my body is sorting itself out post coil.

Or the 99% claim is a bit bollocks Hmm . So I am going to wait. Tick tock. I bet that AF shows up by the end of the day. Grrrr - I secretly got quite excited about having a baby conceived in Rome. Explains why I am up so early. Sad

Dalrymps · 24/09/2011 22:19

Oh hero I'm so sorry, probably see you on the next bus as still no symptoms for me..

I just found out last night that that my best friend (who is married to my brotherSmile) is pregnant! I am so so thrilled for them as she had to have one ovary removed due to a cyst last year. Now I'm thinking if I'm not pregnant this month then I might double check dates to make sure we don't end up being due at the same time. The thing is they live at the bottom of the country and we live right on the border before Scotland so if we were due the same time it would be difficult for us to go and visit the new baby. Anyway, will see how the dates work out, we might hold off for a month then carry on ttcSmile

heroinahalfshell · 24/09/2011 22:17

Thanks Astro ((Hugs))

Signet2012 · 24/09/2011 22:03

Mersea · 24/09/2011 17:13

Sorry af arrived roger, still all the best for next month. I did not get away this weekend after all woke up during last night and was really sick did not stop for about 5 hours, certainly food poisoning rather than morning sickness me thinks! Taking it easy today as it wore me out

fx hero Smile

heroinahalfshell · 24/09/2011 14:46

Today is cd24 and just waiting for DH to get back from Tesco with a test...

Imustbecrazy26 · 24/09/2011 14:27

mersea sorry to hear your feeling so low lately!!!

roger Sorry af got you i saw your other thread about clear blue test and totally agree with you they do get your hopes up and shouldnt be allowed to be on sale!!!

I have been ill all week with a terrible cold and cough so no swi this week as i have been in bed at 9 most nights with my bright red nose and tried using the opks but am not sure if my +ve was on the 14th which means af would be due around the 28th which means i would have a fairly normal cycle this month but not sure if i swi enough but even though am feeling better have been in bed most of the day absolutly shattered so am hoping this is a pregnancy sign rather then me still being ill Wink

Good luck to those testing soon

Mersea · 23/09/2011 22:45

Thanks for all your hugs and kind words, feeling better after a nice bath and a pamper. Have a great weekend, maybe time to enjoy a glass if you have a bfn and fx for everyone else still waiting. x

rogersmellyonthetelly · 23/09/2011 22:03

Well I was right about af arriving ladies, yesterday morning in full force. Still on to next month..... I'm due to ovulate in a week or so on cd 10-12 so with that in mind I will stay on the June bus for now since if I conceive this cycle, baby will still be due in june :0) i used to think that having af every 3 weeks was crap until I started ttc then realised it gives me several extra cycles to try for a baby each year. Gotta look on the bright side.

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 23/09/2011 20:45

So sorry AF turned up Angel - I love the idea of it being a spring clean though and I hope this is the one that prepares a home sweet home for a little angel next month. In the meantime, enjoy your well deserved Wine

Crystal I had symptoms (nausea) from the day I conceived with ds (until the day I gave birth - boak) but I know others who've not really felt anything until 6 weeks plus - sorry, that's not much help is it?

Everyone keeps telling me that each pregnancy can be entirely different and I'm hoping that's true as I'm sure I don't feel how I did at this stage the first time.

OP posts:
AstroNess · 23/09/2011 20:27

Oh Angel I'm really sorry that she got you. FX for next month.x

Crystal I think the earliest you might get symptoms in 10 days post ovulation, but I don't know where I got that from!?

Hugs to Mersea.

FX to everyone else. I want someone to get a BFP so much. Feel a little lonely over here!

x

AngelFairy · 23/09/2011 18:38

*see it as another spring clean

crystaltea36 · 23/09/2011 18:37

Hi all, had a stressful few days at work, and no pg signs at all yet, when is the earliest you might notice something? I'm not sure when I ov'd as have been using the calendar and it estimated last weekend, we SWI lots but not holding out much hope as no signs of anything :-( no cramps, no sore boobs which seems to be the give away? I'm worried the last few days at work haven't helped either!
mersea there's still 5 days left don't give up yet! hugs! x

AngelFairy · 23/09/2011 18:37

Hello ladies,

Quick update from my phone...
After a horrible nausea episode last night I was convinced I was pg, but this morning Aunt Flo knocked on the door, rather politely, and I had to let her in.
I'm gutted, but I always try to see it another spring for my little angel to benefit from, when they're finally placed there x

Here's to some alcohol this wkend!!

Much love x

HorseyGirl1 · 23/09/2011 17:48

Sending a hug to you Mersea x Don't think this will be my month, bit a meltdown last night which suggest AF on way on Monday if 26 days or Tuesday if 27, who knows? Hugs to all who need them and hope you have a lovely weekend. xx

oggy24 · 23/09/2011 17:28

Thanks guys :)

I am still having difficulty admitting to people (ie GP) that we are TTC. I think my answer was "well, yes. no. yes. well, sort of" to which she replied "well, you are or you aren't". Doh!

I think I have just wanted it for so long that I didn't think the time would come that I could say what I wanted out loud!

Fx to all this month :)

Whysoserious · 23/09/2011 17:17

Evening all!

Could I ask someone to please update my AF date - it's 17th Oct. I have no PC at the mo and can't do it from my phone. Thanks Smile

Also, and more importantly - and news from angel and hickory???? Have you ladies POAS yet? Waiting with baited breath here... Wink
