CONGRATULATIONS ASTRO :o

Welcome to Harmony, Crystal, BB and TDW :)

I have my fingers crossed for more BFPs on this bus this month. Good luck everyone.

I think I'm going to be waiting around for the next bus now, since BFN yesterday the 'symptoms' I was experiencing have mostly disappeared which leads me to conclude that they were in my head really. Still! Onwards and upwards and everything will be ok in the end and if it's not ok - it's not the end (this little mantra has been keeping me going today!)

Take care all of you

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 15:49

Reading my message back now, it seems I may come across as being bossy, that was not the way it was intended, hope no offence casued Smile

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 15:48

You guys are right this is a lucky bus! I get on and within a few hours we have a BFP!

GoldenDaffodil · 20/09/2011 14:43

AstroNess - that's absolutely wonderful news! My heartfelt congratualtions, I hope the agony of ttc is soon to be behind you : )

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 14:31

Astro sod work, wallow in the bliss of it all, it's a lovely time, enjoy every minute Smile

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 14:21

Thanks girls. I'm really pleased.

TDW this is my first. OH knows. Although, I showed him the CBD and he looked at it blankly and said 'what does that mean?'. Jesus, even spelling it out didn't quite sink in for him.

I'm supposed to be working from home today. I've so much to do but just can't concentrate. Arghhhh

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 14:01

Astro that's brilliant news, I am so HAPPY for you Grin. Now the fun begins. This is your first, isn't it? Have you told your OH about the confirmation yet?

BBandthedestroyer · 20/09/2011 13:48

Grin Astro Grin

I'm actually so excited for you!

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 13:40

Oh my gosh. I just got back from the shop with 2x Clear Blue Digitals.

I did one.

I got the BFP I was after. It says 'Pregnant 1-2 weeks'.

So happy. I really hope it's a sticky bean.

xx

AngelFairy · 20/09/2011 12:30

Astro... that so a cross! Whoop! Whoop!
POA(thousand)S - joke!
How very exciting... Grin
logged on from phone when I saw your update, so sorry if the post appears strange.

Hello newbie threaders... welcome to the lucky bus x

GoldenDaffodil · 20/09/2011 12:20

Hello All

Having a sneaky MN check on my lunch break. AstroNess - I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that you get more BFB's. The pic you posted definitely looks positive to me. So exciting!

Hello BB and TDW. Welcome to the ttc threads. MN is a great source of support, especilayy during the 2ww. TDW - Good luck for your action packed weekend Wink and BB - I think it's very normal for your cycles to take several months to settle after Mirena. I recommend a clear blue fertility monitor for trcaking ovulation. Expensive but worth the money.

I'm 6dpo and not having any symptoms except increased cm. I'm going out of my mind wondering though...

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 12:10

BB I didn't have AF at all whilst BF, only stopped BF 4 months ago and the AF came back immediatley. So yes it could be affecting your cycle, but you can defo stil get pg whilst bf so fx for you.

My DS is 13 months and I thought now is a nice time to start ttc for another, don't want too big a gap, plus I'm the big 40 next year, want another DC before then.

BBandthedestroyer · 20/09/2011 12:00

Thanks Astro I always wanted to be in a band. GL with the new tests! What an exciting way to break the news, I'd love to do that but have a huge gob and can't resist telling people straight away. Getting ahead of myself now.

I've not either been on a TTC thread before TDW
I don't even know if I'm ovulating, was trying to track my cm last cycle but i didn't notice a change and ended up bleeding on cd21 (2nd month running now) AF-like bleeding but completely painless - before DD I used to have horrific AF's. (I didn't have an AF till the mirena came out). COuld the bf be affecting things or is it normal to take a while to 'get back into the swing of things' after 11 months of Mirena?

Please could I steal a brownie? In return I'll bake muffins?

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 11:49

Exciting times for you Astro, fx for the new tests.

My name may be a bit long so TDW will suffice. I've not been on a ttc thread before, makes it all seem so real, no longer jus thinking about ttc. Just worked out that I'm at my most fertile at the weekend, so just text DH and let him know that when he gets home on friday we will be dtd all weekend Grin.

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 11:41

I forgot to say, welcome to the newbies- harmony crystal bb and thedog. Saying that altogether sounds like some sort of band!!

BBandthedestroyer · 20/09/2011 11:36

hello I think I'm in the right place but I'm new so be kind Grin

TTC#2 Currently cd6 (i think, i've had some very freaky-deaky bleeding) Mirena came out 3 months ago and I'm breastfeeding DD1. No idea on UCL really. Helpful not. Very new to TTC, We didn't TTC DD1 she was an accident so I'm a beginner really! :)

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 11:36

why it doesn't feel real. I can't believe I got a little line. We're going to go and get a couple more tests in a bit and maybe test in the morning.

So excited. It's hard not to get carried away. DP just got excited and said that we could put the scan photo in a Christmas card break the news to close family that way...bless him.

thedogwalker · 20/09/2011 11:25

Hello all, can I join the bus. I've brought plenty of Wine, Brew and homemade chocolate brownies Grin. Had AF visiting last week, but DH and I are now ttc. He goes away for 6 months in 7 weeks time and so I would really like to get pregnant before he goes away. Wasn't a problem last time, we decided to give it a go and within 2 weeks I was pregnant, can't help hoping I'm as lucky this time.

Anyway my stats are
thedogwalker (38 nearly 39) ttc #2 AF due 10 Oct 11

Got my my fx already for you all, sending out lots of good luck vibes to everyone Smile

Whysoserious · 20/09/2011 10:39

Eek! Astroness!!! That looks like a cross to me! Congrats!! Grin

Mersea · 20/09/2011 10:17

How is everyone?
I came back from hols with a rotten upset tummy, usually happens to me when I have a change of water or food. Still not feeling great and I know its not good to be ill when i might be pg. Af not due until the end of next week so its still early but can't help worrying a bit.

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 09:51

OK. So I just couldn't resist doing a test. It wasn't my FMU either, but my first wee after than. I'm so naughty.

Anyway...it looks like it has a cross to me. There is definitely a faint line behind the control. Please can you check I'm not going mad:

AstroNess · 20/09/2011 09:04

Dalrymps I can totally relate to how your feeling. The 2ww is absolute torture in so many ways.

How is everyone else finding it?

Today is dday for me. I don't know why I put the 21st as AF due as fertility friend says today is CD31 and my cycles are normally 31 days. No sign as yet. Just absolutely shattered. Fortunately I'm working at home today...so if she does come or I need a nap then I can get through it at home.

Dalrymps · 20/09/2011 08:18

Morning ladies Smile

Time is dragging during this 2ww.. I know I'm trying to be 'casual' about it but I still can't help over analysing everything and wanting to know IMMEDIATELYGrin

So far no symptoms at all, none what so ever, nada!

How is everyone?
