I think they were about 5/6 days when they were light or 2/3 when heavy. I've been taking the pill for ages bcos af's are normally anything but normal.

I sing abit used to do it for everyone. Choir in school, then college, then went to work for holiday camps. Now I only do the odd karaoke when people persuade me to but I love singing to all my karaoke cd's from when I used to audition. I'm a singing in the shower type of person now.

Well have to shoot for now - gotta go and get something for dinner. decided on a pasta gratin with cream, pancetta and goats cheese.

I play piano and keyboards to almost professional level, guitar very badly and the flute ... well kind of, I also sing and write my own songs but don't do it anywhere than in the comfort of my dining room. I have some software on my computer that lets me make multi track recordings so am in the process of getting enough material together to make an album.

What instrument do you play?

I was taught to play Cornet (small trumpet) and learnt to play nearly every other brass instrument, one-handed piano. I think thats about it, I wouldnt enjoy playing any of those tho.

hmmm well that's a tough one. ideally I would like to work with animals, on the other hand though I would like to be a professional musician. having said that not sure I'd want the fame that went with it though.

Not sure I could do the diplomatic bit for the RSPCA either, I'd probably end up hitting someone. I read somewhere that the RSPCA have 50000 applications for inspectors jobs every year but only actually take on 23 inspectors every year - the process of getting in is very very difficult, but it's quite well paid once you get through the training.

I'd like to work in a sanctuary because of the abuse. I'd like to be able to work for RSPCA and take the B***S to jail. But at the same time I dont think they'd hire me bcos I'd prob beat them up. lol

Would love to work with animals. Think that it's a lot harder though than cuddly animals - especially working in a sanctuary, you're likely to see a lot of suffering, abuce etc, and potentially have to be there when animals have to be put to sleep - not sure I could detach myself from that emotionally.

He enjoys driving so he was gonna look for a driving job when we move (theres a delivery company about 5 mins walk from the new house) so was gonna try there first.

I've been trying to think what job I would love and i'd love to work at an animal sanctuary but the only problem is they cant pay well. Or a zoo (need loads of qualifications) so i'm going back to my original idea of computers and typing.

We're moving by a college so was thinking of starting up (part-time) own business typing CV's and school work for them.

yeh, the listening but not giving advice bit might be difficult for me as well but I'll only find out if I go and give it a go. Lost nothing if it doesn't work out really.

can understand why the winter part of your DP's job might be a bit tedious. couldn't he start up on his own? a guy I used to work with used to do gardening in his spare time, lawn mowing contracts, planting, even laying patios etc - made a fairly decent profit out of it as well.

He's a gardener which he enjoys a bit in the summer but when the winter comes he has to work in the workshop cleaning all the mowers (national company)

I started studying Counselling but I found it very hard to listen to some of the things you have to do. Eg: was told we can listen but cant offer advice and I couldnt do that. I couldnt listen to someone say they want to kill themselves and not say I dont thats a good idea. so I pulled out. Did sign language instead. Actually that reminds me, i've got to see if I can find a course that follows on from what I learnt (only an intro course you see)
