Jen I hope you are feeling better soon, remember to have chocolate with your wine

Suss I was wondering how you were getting on, good luck for march/april.

Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes, I am going to see GP early next week then I will transfer onto sept thread, too scary at the moment, so if it ok with you all I'd like to lurk on here for a little longer

Jen1209 · 14/01/2006 21:31

Hi, down in dumps as AF has turned up. Had almost convinced myself that I was pg again

Party was great but exhausting!

Hope you are all having good weekends, am off to drown my sorrows in a large glass of vino...

suss · 14/01/2006 21:14

Lots of hugs to all those with bad news and many congratulations to everyone who is pg - send lots luck for march /April when we will doing our next IVF attempt, went to see consultant yesterday. Very nervous about it all as I thought that the last attempt would work in November and due to circumstances we may only have two more attempts (hope not), so feel that it has to succeed this time. But as DB was our 10th attempt am v aware that things could not work out. So send that stuff over that has been getting you all pg.

Gosh that is a early positive result Micku5, might be more than one . I am really nervous about moving to the ante-natal threads too

Hope you have a good time at your god sons party jen1209

JAG123 · 13/01/2006 19:44

CONGRATULATIONS Puppy! I had a good feeling about you from the symtoms you have been having. I hope this will be a healthly & happy pregnancy for you.

Talk about a lucky thread

J

Jen1209 · 13/01/2006 17:15

Hurrah - another one! Congrats Puppy - take it easy this weekend and enjoy the news!

Hope everyone has a good weekend, I am off to my godson's 4th birthday party tomorrow so that will be nice (if noisy and chaotic!)

Micku5 · 13/01/2006 17:07

I don;t blame you for wanting a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately we having starting building works on our place so no chance of relaxation around here.

Your EDD is a week before mine. My AF is not actually due until next thursday which is why I am still a bit cautious. (Confession time:- I took another pg test this morning just to make sure the result was the same)

Haven't ventured onto the ante-natal thread yet am going to wait until after next thurs and possibly after I have gone to see the midwife.

puppy · 13/01/2006 11:10

Thanks micku5 and normsnockers, just worked out EDD and its 22nd september .
I'm going to have a relaxing weekend and ring gps on mon for a appt. I am so scared after m/c last sept as then I quick as I found out I was pg I started m/c'ing. Got to think positive though.

Morning all, Ignore my last post regarding af I did a hpt this am and got a BFP , quite numb, really cannot believe it. [grim]

puppy · 12/01/2006 21:41

Thats good news about your hsg artoo,
Fingers crossed jen1209 that af stays away, I had a m/c in sept. it took 5weeks for first af , then I have had cycles of 28, 26, 26 days.

I don't hold much hope for this cycle now, the cramps have got quite a bit more painful and I have backache so expecting af to appear anytime.

Hope you are all well.

jane313 · 12/01/2006 18:37

You get results straight away, thats great.

Artoo · 12/01/2006 18:18

Hi ladies!

Congratulations to homemama, normsknockers and micku on your BFPs! That's a really great start to the year

Really sorry about your m/c Jane

I had my HSG today (an X-ray of my tubes to make sure there are no blockages). It went very well, wasn't at all painful, just uncomfortable like having a smear test. The good news is that I am in posession of two perfectly clear tubes, no blockage problems If we don't get any luck this cycle we're back at the consultants towards the end of Feb to talk about what we do next

Hugs,
Artoo.

Jen1209 · 12/01/2006 08:39

Oh Jane, that's terrible. I had to shout at the community midwife team who were chasing me to book me in, 6 weeks after I had left 2 msgs for them to say I had had the m/c. V for you.

I may have told a small and unintentional fib about my CD days yesterday! I am actually only on CD31 as last AF was Dec 12th. My first cycle was 6 weeks after my m/c so not holding any hope at the moment...

jane313 · 11/01/2006 19:17

Hi jen. Yes I remember yours lets hope you are pregnant again. Did you have to wait till you had a period after miscarriage before trying again? How long was that? I remember that 2 friends had theirs 6 weeks after.

I went to the EPU and had scans which confirmed I had miscarried. Have to have some more blood tests and scans to confirm its not ectopic.

Norms I don't think I can go back to NHS as I won't be on their list anymore. Its a different hopsital to the one I am going to for the EPU so its all a bit complicated. I had to ring yet another hospital today, where I would have had the baby to cancel my appointment. Thats one appointment I wish had not come through so quickly.

Hope all you pregnant ladies are feeling well. What sensible timing for the school year as well!!

I am very jealous. I'm also jealous of you lot with short cycles (although I'm sure it can be a bit of a pain). My last cycle was 35 days which is the longest cycle I have had in my life I think. I am refusing to buy any ovulation predictor kits or anything this month, which means I may have to wait AGES to find out if we have been lucky.

Anyway take it easy everyone.
Fingers crossed for Puppy on Friday

puppy · 11/01/2006 12:33

How are you feeling today homemama, has the good news sunk in yet?
